Ick!! Did you see that preview of the book cover? No way was that drawn by a professional, I used to draw things like that when I was 14 with all of the proporitions scewed. I really hope thats either a bad scan of the cover or its a rough draft because that is just embarrasing!

Count me as the third so far. Ya know, when I heard that George Perez was going to do one of the covers for the new TopCow comic, I was excited - until I saw the cover. I really don't mean to impugne his work, but I am just as disappointed with the new novel cover so far as I was then.

One, I'd be impressed if I knew George Perez was. Don't enlighten me. I don't care. I'm not a comic book fan. Sci-fi/horror movie/book yes, not comic books, sorry.
But, uhm... can I try to draw that? I'm no artist, but I think I can do better than that. Heck, my 9 year old can do better than that. But he can draw the entire Scooby Gang very well. Very, very well.

According to the interview, that might be a rough by George Perez, or a rough that was turned into an attempt at a cover for press purposes.
The thing I want to know is: why is Positron wearing his TRON armor? Was it a recent addition to his suit to put in the glow stuff, or is it a recent addition to the game's tech to do that and he always had it in the story bible?

well after 30 some odd years of great art, i suppose George Perez is allowed to drop some stinkers here and there.

Go to Amazon.com guys you can see the real cover there. I'm looking forward to this, I was a bit Disappointed with Web of Arachnos...mainly because of the writing style....but I think this one will be a much better read.
