You can't apply KB as an aspect on the "ball" side? Constant for everyone, that would mean no one had an advantage.
Seriously, you're thinking too hard if you think it's got to react "properly" - just take an Unbound Nictus, change the art, hack off about 60% of it's scripts and attributes, make it level 1 and cannot be damaged and drop one next to every trainer in the game.
Add a script where if it "dies" or is untouched for 15 minutes it teleports back to the trainer.

In one zone in CoH (Talos) and one zone in CoV (Nerva) there should be a single big red ball that does absoutly nothing except when you attack it, it gets knocked back a bit. By every attack not just knockback attacks. It cant be destoryed or anything, just a Big Red Ball to hit around, thats it.
How big is big?
Well not huge. Just like 1 meter in diameter. Thats Big for a Red Ball!
The reason for just one and being in just one zone is so you dont run into it every time you log on. Maby you'll only run into it once a month or something, then youll be like "WOW! a Big Red Ball!" then you will knock it around for a few minuties laughing very hard then you will leave saying "What a cool Big Red Ball"
Whats the point?

Why? Because now, whenever I log in to CoX, I'll feel like there's something missing--something that's fundamentally WRONG with the game.
And that something is the lack of a Big Red Ball.
It would have been so beautiful--the sun would have shone brighter, we all would have laughed and sung more, there would have been concerts in the park. The Big Red Ball would have ushered in a new Golden Age. World peace, even.
But no, 'tis not to be. So I'll have to sit and sulk, bleary-eyed, with dreams of what could have been.

The other day I was badge hunting and happened upon that corner in Skyway that consists of a basketball court. There were enough Trolls loitering about there to make a basketball team. They didn't bother me cuz my toon was already high enough level to not phaze them, but they were just standing there. A couple were walking slowly with no sense of direction. They looked sad. They looked bored. They looked in dire need of something large and round and crimson.
I really wish I coulda tossed them a big red ball. That woulda been great.
Two years have gone by and I've lost count how many issues, and still no big red ball. For all the advancements and improvements CoH has experienced since its inception, the greatest travesty perhaps is that the CoH community still doesn't have its big red ball. Name for me one player or potential player who would either quit the game or never sign up when they hear that CoH has its own big red ball. Come on, GameDevs! With all due respect, this ain't rocket science.
