This idea has been bounced around the forum since 06. It's picked up a lot of speed, bounced off a few obstacles, and rolled over the competition.

Devs. This is relevant to your interests. If it isn't: It should be.

Nope, only you see it. The server doesn't keep track of its location. When it comes into view for a certain player, it spawns for that player where it should. If you have interactions with it after that time, then they'll see you hit it, but there's no guarantee that their client's calculations will match up with your own.

This thread has been alive and kicking since 10/27/05.

The developers mentioned, at one point, that they were interested in its feasibility.

So how do the propel ball games work? I've never seen one. I've always assumed that it was a Propel object thrown out, and, although it looks different for each player, they were all able to interact with it. If that's the case, then use the same sort of object, but give it a single graphic skin.

That's it, really. Only most of the time the BRB is a person. Infinitely more reliable than random propel-fodder.

BRB should be in a coop zone and there should be a team sport involved with where heroes and villains can be on the same teams if they want.
