Howdy Pos'!

Will the sniper blast powers available to Stalkers in the Patron pools be able to do Critical damage when executed from Hide?

Don't work too hard in your digital salt mine, dude.

When is I7?

Just kidding -- How about talking about the new costume options being available in I7?

There have been mention of a few but then we got a few surprises like the robot shoulder pads, anything else we haven't seen in screenshots, Posi?

[/ QUOTE ]

I said no "When is I7?"

Interview over.

Yes, there are more costume options you have not seen.

Since I7 appears to be delayed a bit from it's original intended release, does this mean the rest of the issues that were planned to be released this year will also be delayed?

And I have a second part if I may be so bold. Will the future issues be more balanced with content for both games?

Will Brutes' Fury not building properly in PVP get fixed?

I have questions!

Is the Faultline Trial going to be implemented in any form?

Will the Mission/Trial/Task Force/Whatever that allows you to enter the ship in the Rikti Crash Site that was aluded to some time ago going to be implemented soon?

Thanks very much, Positron!

Heroes should be getting trenchcoats, the thug MM have them and this is kinda of a "test" to see how they look before they turn the idea loose on the playing public...

They will be prestige items that you have to earn like capes and auras and stuff. Maybe we will see them in I8......

Pos, any word on any changes for Dominators?

[/ QUOTE ]

There is a positive change for Dominators in Issue 7.

[/ QUOTE ]

Positron...thanks for answering questions for us. Though the answer on this one is killing me thinking about it.

(Doms definitely needed a wee bit of a boost!)

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!

Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.

4. Will you folks ever do what you did in 2004 and sketch out roughly the year ahead what we players can be looking forward to, either via convention panels or 'State of the Game' forum post?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, answer this one, please.

Since you said please...

Yes.

I think it's great that positron answered questions. And I think it's hilarious that most of his answers were "yes" and "no" and "there are some new _____" With absolutly no specifics whatsoever. It's almost like we're dealing with the postron out of the comic books!!!

Thanks again Postron, you alone have made us anticipate absolutly everything you guys are doing with CoH/CoV by answering our questions with only enough precision to warrent more interrest instead of disapointment. =)

I know I'm late on this but I'll ask away anyway. Will one of those costume options be trench coats since we see them on the thug pets? I've got it in my mind that my dark/fire demoness corrupter will be able to outdo Trinity now in the "looking cool in a trenchcoat" contest.

Any talk of changing the permanent part of Patrons or something?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's really not as simple as "let's let them respec it!"

Since Patron sets are tied to Contacts you receive, you get the set of the Contact you choose. We'd need to add a bunch of technology to take away access to Contacts (something we don't do currently), to make sure you couldn't end up with multiple Patron Pools.

We have talked about it though, and are not through talking about it either.

[/ QUOTE ]

You know, I am ok with the one set of patrons, I wish there was more content that was connected to the choices our character makes. Just as I wish there was specific stories tailored to origin (just as there are for the kleidians) it would make it seem like what the character did really mattered.

That being said, I'd like some epic pools not connected to the patrons (just as there are now initial contacts that in the beginning of the game where you choose not to play the "Destined One" game.

I would love my stalker to be able to get throwing stars (I know that set is not popular with the scrappers but I still would love it having a "natural origin"). I would love a different set of gadgets for my tech corrupter then the mace. I am ok with dark powers on my necro mm and probably with my fire/dark brute. As for the dom, well none of them "fit" probably when I get there I will just do an arch for the content.

I'm crazy busy right now, but I'd be happy to answer a few questions, as long as none of them are "when is I7...?"

[/ QUOTE ]

I know you finished answering questions for yesterday this is just in case you answer some today.

I know I already PMed you about this but MMs are getting pistols in issue 7 does this mean that blasters are likely to get them in a later issue?

How about offering one more choice? Either we choose the Patron route to Epic powers OR we choose the generic route (which I define as the choices Heroes have). Doable?

PS: thanks indeed for taking the time to answer some questions, man. I appreciate it very much. Half my teeth-gnashing has been nullified by just a few of your responses.

Thanks for the candid replies, Pos. On the Hero side, could you comment on what the upcomming change to blaster end drain is going to be? We've been told that a change is comming with i7, just wondering if we could get some idea of what that change entails,

Thanks
Miles

Can you tell us why certain powers (Lightning Rod, Chain Induction) won't be effected by Fury? Will they be just too uber with it?

[/ QUOTE ]

The Lightning Rod power *is* affected fully by Fury. The description has been changed to reflect this.

Chain Induction is only partially affected by Fury. The initial hit is affected by the Furies Strength, however, any 'chained' blasts are not. They *are* affected by the strength of the opponent who is chaining the power, though, so an arc from an AV will be stronger than an arc from an underling by quite a margin.

I've not figured out a way to get it working yet. It's possible I *can't* get it to work as described, in which case, we'll have to have a pow wow around here (complete with Tee Pee's and Peace Pipes, hopefully) to figure out what to do.

Unless the chained blasts are autohit, will their accuracy also be affected by the (relative) level/rank of the opponent who is chaining the power?
