Took me a second to understand what i was looking at, (i thought at first it was like a small part of there chest crests, not the whole cheast pattern) but once i got the idea of what i was looking at it was easy, 21/21. Only one i honestly didn't know what cammander courage... but i got it right because i know it wasn't on of the 3 other choices... who was he anyway?

KingSnake.

<sigh, shoot me>

How geeky is it if I try it once and get 19/21 but get upset that it isnt perfect score, come here and work out why I didn't get Captain Courage? Then I go back and take the test again.

I am happy now cos I got 21/21.

Infamy, infamy, they've all got it infamy!!!

...I know who Commander Courage is!

He was the superhero featured in "Comic Book: the Movie" starring Mark Hammil. As far as I know, he does not exist outside of said movie.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since there were other villains listed as "superheroes", I'm going to guess this guy from early 90s Marvel.

The costume "seems" to kinda match what I vaguely remember as the pixel pattern.

21/21 hows that for a girl

i guess all those years working at a comic shop has its advantages

Posted

21/21 but only because I read that Captain Courage is a strange one so I knew to look for an odd one going in.

18/21 - though I think the representation for the Flash is just wrong and I still have no idea who Commander Courage and Nova are.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think I know Nova. Though I believe it was "Kid Nova", a younger version in a comic called "The New Warriors". I think I was the only person that liked that comic.

[/ QUOTE ]

Kid Nova was not a younger version of Nova. He was the same guy, normally aged since his original "Man Called Nova" comic.

Marvel wanted to appeal to younger readers though. There was a flap about it at the time. People that liked the original Nova character were offended that their hero had been 'demoted'.

Nah...I had the first 25 issues or so back in the day, though Night Thrasher was the lamest hero evah! .

[/ QUOTE ]

Nice, I have the first 30 issues I think. Night Thrasher would have been all right if he didn't have that stupid skateboard on his back.

I thougth Speedball was the lamest in that book.

Thanks for clarification. I think at some point they went back to just calling him Nova, if I recall correctly.

21/21 good I work in the industry, otherwise I'd be a dork....

That'll do. I don't know that much about comics in general but I did get right all the ones that I'd actually heard of.
