Did anything get changed before I3 went live?
Yes, your testing was mostly pointless, the threads in the "dev corner" were ignored, and issue 3 was rammed live pretty much as is.
I could have SWORN that the proposed changes to Regeneration were changed by *gasp* testing done on the test server.
I'm sure there are some other things but I'm going to be lazy like the person who posted this and not go search for them.

Oh...I was expecting the players data to be ignored, so im not surprised. That "its only test server" claim is pretty much bunk.
Im looking forward to trying it out. But there have been no changes from test before it went live? I was trying to scan the update notes..
The fact remains that a great many bugs/issues that were posted on the dev corner and testing room threads, and that were /bugged in game were apparently ignored.
From memory...
We changed Regen, saw that it wasn't working, changed it again to its current state.
We rolled back minion, lt. hit point increases.
We rolled back a change in Tanker burn.
We made numerous tweaks to the Ancillary power sets.
That's just from memory.

Thank you Statesman.
Nothing was changed from the version that went live on 12/23.
I forget when a version of Issue 3 appeared on the test server, but many things were changed based on the testing. There were some disasterous changes to burn tankers and regeneration scrappers that were reversed. Originally all villains 25th level above were boosted, they decided to roll back the minion and lieutenant boosts.

But not boss HP increases, and you did not live up to your statment that if there were mob HP increases, defenders/controllers would get more "oomph".
Speaking of the boss changes, what will this mean for the respec trial? With a team of 5 or so, there are tons of bosses in the reactor, with the bosses dmg/HP 50% increase, won't the respec become extremely hard again?

Well not entirely. Regen scrappers are now the uber Scrapper AT since the Regen nerf got toned down. But yeah, bugs and all it went live today.

Heya States....any tweeking to the EATs?
I did not personally attempt the respec trial. Many who did reported complete team-wipes and failed trials, I don't recall any reported successes.

Please tell me you didn't send those boss changes live. If you did then you just made about half the missions in the game unsoloable. That's just plain going to kill your solo player base.

I've been wondering that same thing. I've participated in about 2 dozen TV trials now so I may be in a position to form an admittedly-subjective opinion about what this does to that set of missions. In my view the thing was already way too hard considering that it's typically being done by people who are gimped in one way or another. If the skiffs and jump bots now have 50% more HPs that might just be the kiss of death.
I've also been wondering about those glowies that were silent for weeks on the test server. If that's the new intended behavior then I could envision it being enough to severely irritate me.
I want a chance to play the new release a couple days before I make up my mind, but at this point I admit I'm apprehensive.

I forgot what this would do to the respec trial. OMG the whining that will ensue. I still think the core will be a bore, but getting to the reactor is likely to be a crucible.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
Your changes to the invuln set have caused me to cancel.
Nice job--I had been enjoying until you made it so that I can't tank after putting 9 months and 610 hours into my toon.

The Developers decided that even with the minor bugs, they were happy with the last patch (for the most part) and went live with it.
Still here, even after all this time!

ALL of these changes were in the test server build on 12/17, and most were in test on 12/13.
So you also changed invuln, saw that it wasn't working, and left it as is despite the testing that occurred after the changes.
You said you'd change the EAT resistance and left it as is.
You ignored many /bugs, both small and large that folks made on test both before and after 12/23, leaving everything as it was on 12/23, leading us to believe that more testing would occur before launch. Here's a small example: The plaque for Atlas gives a date that directly conflicts with mission text on when he was killed. Here's a larger example: Quantum gunners are spawning at +3 in "hard boiled" missions.
Respec, necessary for builds that were mind numbingly altered in this issue, isn't on live.
Global chat, which has been harped about since before launch, is not on live.
If you changed *anything* post 12/23, none of it went to the test server, and no one was informed of the changes.
So, from memory, you basically said to the testers that we shouldn't waste our time ever testing anything anymore because your internal testers are so good that they can do it all without our input and bug reports.
I've always had great respect for the developers of this game. You all did an awesome job making a game folks love. Issue #2's debacle of going live early should've been a wakeup call to let us help you find and fix bugs, but apparently that lesson wasn't learned. So your dev team once again is going to have to scramble to fix stuff that should never have gone live in its current form.
I guess this means I lose my fanboi status. I'm very disappointed.

Perhaps the question needed to be asked a little more explictly.
No significant changes have been made to the test server since the 13th of December, and go live of Issue 3 was I believe delayed so that this iteration of it could be tested further.
Given that there has been a LOT of feedback, the vast majority of it negative, on the boards, both about some design decisions (e.g. Kheldians) and bugs both major and minor (e.g. Fear), to simply cite any changes made to I3 since it initially hit the test server in answer to the OP's question is farcical at best.
A more honest answer would have been, "no".

If this were the case and they were so happy with it then WHY did Statesman say they were pushing back the release of Issue 3 because of these exact "minor bugs" so they could be fixed before going live? But yet NOTHING post 12/23 got changed.
Explain that one to me and everyone else please.
I would have been willing to wait for as long as it took.
States said they wanted a really really really smooth launch when they delayed it.
I'm happy they wanted to avoid the map server nightmare of I2, but hey, Ill wait 2 more weeks to ensure there isn't major bugs(touch of fear?), and placate the masses a little first.

I agree with him. Barring a major patch in the works the testing was pretty much pointless. The Devs had their minds made up and anything done beyond that wasn't just pointless it was ignored.
The Inv thread got ignored by Statesman and the developers.
184 pages with some decent feedback ignored because they flat out didn't care about the players that took the time and effort to test THEIR mistakes.
(Virtue/Champion) Neil Fracas: Inv/SS
(Virtue) Gideon Fontaine: MA/SR (Sc), Generic Hero 114: Ice/Cold, Marcus Tyler AR/En, Project F: Spines/DA (S)

People have been testing and making comments, complaints and so on for what, a month? I'm curious, did anything that was on the test server get changed before it went live? Im at work, so gotta wait 6 or so hours to see.
But all the people who flamed "whiners" would always say "Its just the test server!" As the answer to anyone who had a Criticism.
So, did anything at all get changed, or were all player's testing for naught?
eg. Invul changes, boss changes, etc..
