How big is the area of Wormhole?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Same size as GDF.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That was NOT my experience. It was barely half of what was covered in GDF from what I saw playing for a few hours last night. THe most I could get in a group was 4, and they were all right next to one another.
  3. I remember when controllers were great against AVs because they had boss magnitude and could be chain held.

Then when controllers were ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS because of an admitted stealth nerf where our holds weren't useful at all.

Then the final fix which was a red light/green light for holds that isn't all that great (since we're not in melee and can't see the green light indicator) but at least lets controllers do something other than act as weak defenders for an AV fight.
  4. Are we supposed to use the /chatbeta 1 command to turn it on, or should it turn on automatically?

    Boss Changes

If the bosses are acting as if they are +1, does this mean that if a mission spawns a +1 boss, that it's acting as if it is +2?

I saw quite a few dev posts saying that the mission bosses shouldn't be +1, but they occur constantly to me. Every other boss seems to be red, and this is solo or in duo's. I don't know if I'm unlucky or what. Prior to Issue #2, I had a mission with a Rikti Mentalist Boss and a Carnie Illusionist boss... BOTH red. I'd entered the mission solo.

I watched as my defender buddy got one shotted by a red boss just two days ago in our mission, and I didn't survive much longer when he was gone and unable to keep my poor blaster healed. Both of us are level 33.

If we're already dealing with harder bosses, don't you think that missions should NOT spawn +1 bosses when we are not in large groups or have not upped our mission difficulty? A +1 boss is essentially purple to us.

    From memory...

We changed Regen, saw that it wasn't working, changed it again to its current state.

We rolled back minion, lt. hit point increases.

We rolled back a change in Tanker burn.

We made numerous tweaks to the Ancillary power sets.

    That's just from memory.

    [/ QUOTE ]

ALL of these changes were in the test server build on 12/17, and most were in test on 12/13.

So you also changed invuln, saw that it wasn't working, and left it as is despite the testing that occurred after the changes.

You said you'd change the EAT resistance and left it as is.

You ignored many /bugs, both small and large that folks made on test both before and after 12/23, leaving everything as it was on 12/23, leading us to believe that more testing would occur before launch. Here's a small example: The plaque for Atlas gives a date that directly conflicts with mission text on when he was killed. Here's a larger example: Quantum gunners are spawning at +3 in "hard boiled" missions.

Respec, necessary for builds that were mind numbingly altered in this issue, isn't on live.

Global chat, which has been harped about since before launch, is not on live.

If you changed *anything* post 12/23, none of it went to the test server, and no one was informed of the changes.

So, from memory, you basically said to the testers that we shouldn't waste our time ever testing anything anymore because your internal testers are so good that they can do it all without our input and bug reports.

I've always had great respect for the developers of this game. You all did an awesome job making a game folks love. Issue #2's debacle of going live early should've been a wakeup call to let us help you find and fix bugs, but apparently that lesson wasn't learned. So your dev team once again is going to have to scramble to fix stuff that should never have gone live in its current form.

I guess this means I lose my fanboi status. I'm very disappointed.
  7. I got a response from Statesman by PM assuring me that the bugs would have to be fixed before the issue could go live.
  8. Let's hope that all the inaccuracies include a bad date. There's no way that this is ready for live. Just like Issue #2, if it goes live as it is in test right now, there will be way too many bugs to handle.

lol, I play a few female alts, much better to look at. Would have been hilarious to see some guy as his female toon.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I could pick out at least three guys were cross dressing as their female characters. Kudos to them!
  10. The souvenir gave me shivers. Although it would've been nice to have it addressed to my actual character name.

    Tanker Update

Heh, and I just got provoke on my tanker. Oh well, it'll be useful until this goes live and then I can get rid of it, since I never really wanted it in the first place. Good changes.
  12. The patch you pre-downloaded is the artwork and other stable elements, not the release version of issue 2. They probably could've realeased that even earlier, but people seem to think it's the whole thing, so they didn't.
  13. I hardly ever play solo, and I'm really happy about this change. Consistency is good.
  14. Plus, just because you can't buy the non-power 10, doesn't mean they don't exist at those levels. I had a level 17 Flight SO once.
