and had only 1 death(But he was a FireBlaster so that was required by law ).

Hehehe. Took my first trip into the Abandoned Sewers Network last night to get the plaque in there. Got my first Abandoned Sewer death within 1 minute without even having to fight. I like throwing fire, but I thought my job on a team was to make sure the floor tasted okay. Nobody told me I was supposed to stay alive!
Thanks to everyone who has put so much work into the game. I have enjoyed both expansions that have come out since I started playing, and the added challenges only add to the fun and excitement for me.
"This guy is my level, why aren't I hurting him? Oh, he's a boss - gonna have to be more careful next time" Well, I didn't do my job properly in this encounter - I lived , but once again, I needed to be careful of what I did. Danger = Excitement. My favorite badge/plaque hunt? The plaque in PI. I flew up at level 20 and saw my first monkeys ever. I hid and ran and got the badge. Fun and excitement without launching a single attack.
And thanks for starting a thread that I feel good about posting to. Been reading the forums for months, but found very few threads where I would feel good about posting to. Now I can make my comment where it belongs
Thanks!!!

Well I don't post often but i read the boards like crazy I have played COH from the start of Beta and I have a lot of fun. I soloed a lot but now that I'm with a cool SG I have been teaming up a lot more and have a great time doing it. I think the game is a blast and the updates have added new twist and improved the overall feel of the comic theme of the game. Devs keep up the good work. Looking forward to the future in COH and the new play COV will offer.
On the login screen there is a field to enter your name and another field to enter your password. use to be you had to click on each to activate them - now you can press tab to move from the one field to the other -thanks for that.
I second that. The boards are so negative, and it's usualy from the minority of power gamers that want more, more, more. I for one, love this game. It's an excellent balance for power gamers, and the rest of us. I don't have to look at other chars and say, "I'll never be able to find that kind of gear and be that good."
Also, as a software engineer, I know what it's like with users. They don't see the big picture. They only see the scope of what they're involved in. You guys handle them very well.
This is the greatest game I have ever played, and hope to keep by 2 accounts open till CoH 2 (6 years down the road). At which point, I might have to move to it
I still frikkin' love this game. The BOss upgrades make the game challenging again. I was honestly able to sleepily finish a lot of my 31 Spines/SR's missions pre I3, now I have to wake up and pay attention! Yes, the game is harder, but the Devs are doing it to make the game balanced, and I applaud their efforts, and the game as a whole. EQ2, WoW, move over! I'm sticking with COH and it's fantastic Dev/PR team.

Wow well really all i can add to these posts are DITO!
I would also like to thank the devs for a fantastic game, I appreciate it! Thanks for taking your time to provide us with an environment worth paying you money to play in. You have definitely made it worth my $15 a month.
I say three cheers to issue three. I spent the evening in stirga island. wow. that is cool. I love it!!! I can't wait to explore and see the rest of the awesome stuff.

About freakin' time a kudos thread put out some good responses.
Thanks for the hours of solid entertainment!
I'd like to throw my hand in for thanking the Devs.
THANKS DEVS!!!
Thank you all for a great well-rounded and dependable game. I apprecite your efforts to improve the game and listen and respond to those of us on the forums.
I expect to be around for a long long time.
I love this game.
I love Kheldians
I have a lvl 50 DM/Regen Scrapper that never had Int or IH
I love hard bosses
I love grouping
I love being a superhero
Thanks to the CoH team across the board
Only tried difficulty slider so far but I like that a lot. Also noticed the search lights in Brickstown, I don't remember seeing those before.
Its a great game.

Many thanks to all the constructive posters out there, those that help the community with guides, rational discussions, helpful posts, and the just funny ones. Kudos to the community, you are too numerous to name all of you, and it should be that way. If there were only a few names to point out, we'd be in sad shape.

I want to take a chance to thank to YOU - the community. Thanks for making me laugh every single day. You constantly amaze me with your humor, creativity, and wit.
I also want to say thanks to those of you who DO take the time out to tell us what you think - even if you dislike something. I know you wouldn't do it if you didn't passionately care about the game.
Thanks to everyone who has played on the Test Server to help us work on new content.
And finally thanks to the Devs and all of the CoH team for being the most community friendly team out there. It sure makes my job easier.
Man sorry for the late reply but you guys still have my account for a long long while. Great job guys!
I've played this game since April and never been bored.
Well thought out missions - Check
Amazingly detailed character creation and powers - Check
Free 'major' updates (come on, how many mmorpgs do this) - Check
Server up status (can't even remember my last map server error) - Check
Developers who actually 'Read' and participate in forums, not just moderate. CHECK
There's so much more, but it can all be summed up in one though thought.
Kudos on the best game ever!
Thank you for letting me be a superhero. I avoided MMORGs for years because I always heard what a huge time sink EQ was, but I couldn't resist being a superhero. After a couple years tracking CoH, I jumped in on April 28. The rest is history. I have a wonderful supergroup of some of the best people I have ever met, and have had a positively heroic 8 months. This is a wonderful game.
The past few weeks I've been playing WoW a lot - more than I intended to - and it's a great game too. I would say each game is weak in areas that the other is strong. I get worn down on the leveling grind in CoH, and the slower pace, sprawling natural settings, crafting, and more casual play in WoW is a nice diversion, as I intend it to be. Last night I came in to explore Striga after several days slinging an axe instead of radiation or gravity fields, and it was a blast. It was great to be POWERFUL, to move at superhuman speeds, blast into a group of foes and lay waste to them with rad blasts, not worry about getting trapped by a random spawn or add that I can't outrun, and generally be a SUPERHERO instead of a lowly adventurer. And that's what will always make this game special - from day one, you are the superhero. I thwarted some plots from the new L.L. Bean fascists and even joined with dozens of other heroes to stop the enormous octopus.
Thanks for making that real, devs, and thanks for taking the time to wade into these boards again and again. There's a lot still to do with this game, lots to improve and learn from other games, but this sure seems like one heck of a committed crew. I feel like I KNOW half the devs, from your feedback not only to criticism to little things like getting cookies. A lot of times I can't stand to wade into the boards due to the toxic attitudes of your more immature players and people who don't seem to grasp that A) it's a game and B) it's evolving. Thanks for putting up with it, and making sure not only to listen to the criticism but also find the nuggets of wisdom scattered throughout it. This is a great community, and I can assure you that degree of whining you hear on the boards is disproportionate to the general good feeling of all the players. Here's to another great year of CoH in 2005!
Kudos to the Dev team and to CoV in 2005
Wow, even a Red Name is thanking the Dev's How cool is that? Of course, CuppaJo is just plain cool all around.
Normally, I send my thanks directly to the people involved, but I can send a thanks to the Dev's here too. thanks Dev's for such a great game. And Thank you, CuppaJo, for your Hoppy Gnu year wishes
There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"
* gives the devs some Pie *
Thumbs up on the graphics changes for my Stone/Stone tanker. Now he still looks unique with his armor up! Yea!
I'm also enjoying the Striga Island content with same (he's level 21 at this point). Fun missions. Cool new maps. Pie for everyone in the house!
Big props to the Devs, who continue to make a fantastic game. The thing that impressed me most with this update was the redesign of Dr Vazhilok's lair. I've arrested this guy over half a dozen times in the same generic sewer, but yesterday found that his lab has taken a turn for a more Frankenstein-like decor. Very nice touch!
I'm busy Kheldianing away here with my new Peacbringer. He may not be the strongest thing in the game, but he's certainly the coolest.
I hereby christen Radiant Strike "Best looking power of the year".
The Kheldians are fantastic work all the way through, match that with the superb 5th/Council war, the new zone Striga Isle and a series of events coming (both permanent and temporary) and you have a recipe for fantasticness.
Have some Kudos!
CoH is my crack and NC and Cryptic are the suppliers.
CoH is the first MMO that got me to walk away from FPS.
Regardless of some concerns I've been having of late, I still think CoH is great. Its a lot of fun and one the best, and certainly most unique MMORPG available today.
In-game GM support has been phenomenal. I've never waited more than 10 minutes for a response and they've always been very friendly. I've also found the developers to be very responsive to player concerns. I guess sometimes they feel they have to put their foot down on some issues, but beyond that its been great.
