  2. My DM/sd scrapper can solo 8 man 52s and 53s boss spawns, but it's expensive as hell.

    Extra Healing

    Hello Folks, I don't usually hang out here in the badge section but something came up. While looking over my badges I noticed that I have healed a little over 14 thousand points of damage to other toons, this came as quite the surprise to me since I'm playing a DM/SD scrappers without and heling power that I know of, so wtf happenend?

  11. The build is for a DM/SD scrapper, I'll probally start out dropping 100 mill or so then upgrading as I get the inf. I'll be using the build to run everything from TFs to Oro and getting nukes and shivan shards.
  12. And they're still making the books, up to issue 145 or so last I saw.
  13. Hi all, so I've decided to start exemping for Oro mishes and the occasional TF and zone pvp. So, what is the best way to go about slotting my powers?

    A) Overslotting/frankenslotting with 50's
    or
    B) spending big or not so big bucks and getting say...30th level sets or so?

  14. off hand, mine also has 3x BotZ in super jump, and if you're going with jump take hurdle instead of swift.

    Exemping

    Hi folks, planning on using my dual build options to make an exemping build, any guides or suggestions on what level to aim for?

    STF Glitched?

    Hi, I've heard that the STF was bugged but we tried anyway, and yup, let the repairmen so much as spawn and they repair the towers, I'm talking about the length of time for them to spawn and you target them. Tyhis is WAY bugged, and so am I.

    In my opinion, the minute the tank needs support to tank the finale, that invalidates Tankers.

    In other words, if this AV needs someone bubbled/buffed up and being healed to tank it, why not just get a Scrapper? Or a Brute.

    Which is the core of the issue I have with developers and how they treat and regard Tankers.

    They'll penalize a Tanker with lower damage because of their ability to tank for a team, but hypocritically they won't hesitate to try to nullify or reduce that niche with enemies who circumvent that survivability advantage.

    If a Scrapper can't tank an AV without support, and a Tanker can't tank the same AV without support, but both can with support (and such is true; already I've watched Scrappers tank this TF with support) then what is the point of the Tanker?

    None. None at all.

    They have no problem removing the need and advantage of a Tanker, while at the same time refusing to stop punishing the Tanker with crappy damage for that "advantage".

    If this was on the eve of giving Tankers more damage or something, making them less sturdy by default would fly with me. But I doubt that's on the horizon. So what we have here are the devs creating yet another enemy to crap on Tanker defenses while at the same time continuing to crap on their offense as well.
    That doesn't fly with me.

    Yeah, you'll be fine with Claws/Invuln. The scrapper combinations are very nicely balanced in PvE these days. There are better and worse choices for various objectives, but there are no clear winners and losers.

    I have a theory that Katana/Shield can achieve the highest DPS with billions of influence spent, but I haven't worked it all out yet.

    Just think how nasty it would be if scrappers had the current version of super strength, you'd be looking at sub 4 minute pylon killing.
