So I did an all scrapper ITF last night
That was my itf and you didn't mention my fire shield! Normally these runs are around 30-40 minutes, just last night was bad luck. The thing about how I run them is true to my scrapper roots. Scrapper lock galore and doing whatever whenever. I like to push it to the limit and if I die, try again.
He problem with Rom at first is always the same, his nictus auto hits so it hurts. But after the first knock down it's easy.
The team make up was:
fire/shield
fire/sr
kat/regen
kat/sr
claw/sr
ma/sr
spines/invul
forgot last one >.>
Doing one tonight, but they always take awhile to form as you saw from last night. Maybe I'll see you there.
Scrappers are about doing whatever the h*ll you want, whenever the h*ll you want.
we did 1 tonight, didn't get all the sets involved but 4 of us were shield, done in 35 minutes.
The more people I meet, the more I'm beginning to root for the zombies.
I played the Broadsword/Shield on that TF (Sterling Pendragon). Entertaining run.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
It'd be interesting to do a Scrapper ITF but I'm not sure I'd want to do it as a pug, I'd like to do it with close friends who know how to SMASH! effectively.

Nice, I do all Spine TF's regularly, successfully ran the ITF, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Respec, plus a KHTF and a Manti, there is one that has yet to be completed though that we really want. Tried the LGTF, and just didnt have the gusto to take down Honoree...just couldnt seem to get past his Unstop..next time were grabbin shivs and nukes and beating his *** lol...but still all scrappy tf's are fun stuff.

A couple of this, a couple of that.

Had the SRs yank off the healing fluffy, a regen aggroing the autohit fluffy, and the rest to beat down Rom.
Lots of fun.
Be well, people of CoH.
When I ran one on Pinnacle, I'm 99% sure we ran it on 5th diff. Took some work to take down Rom in the final mission, but we managed it.

What I really want to try is Dr. Khan's TF, but I've only done it once, and I wish I actually took the time to remember what I did and stuff like that so I could try it on an All Scrapper without failing. >.>

All scrapper TFs are always fun. ITF was the best so far. i16 needs to hurry up and go to open beta so we can get the party going again. Well, after all the new issue bugs get worked out.

I heard the announcement go out on the Freedom TF channel about an all scrapper ITF and jumped on my lvl 43 claws/sr and headed over to Cimeroia (sp?). The team of eight if I recall correctly was:
BS/SR
Spines/Invul
Fire/regen
BS/SD
MA/SR
Kat/SR
?/SR
Claws/SR (me)
I was surprised with the amount of /SR's on the team and they wre all over the soft-capped number. The fire/regen scrapper had concerns about her getting trounced, displaying doubt about regen's ability in an ITF (she did okay btw).
The team was formed in under 10 minutes so I may be forming acouple of these in the future. I was the only non-50 so I sk'ed up with the spines/invul scrapper who did solidly through out except for mission 2 where the dwarfs and squids knocked him silly quickly. This player was new to the ITF so while the 6 others "sped" through the ITF him and me ended up doing a lot of "unnecessary" fighting (which was okay with me being I would rather fight through than speed through things anyways).
Communication was a problem in that it was never agreed or made clear that this was a speed ITF so at times the team was 3 way separated during the first 3 missions (which actually wasn't that bad given each small team could handle themselves.
Were there any wipes? Almost. In the second mission all but 2 died. Because I wasn't with the main team my belief is that the 6 others got overwhelmed with ambushes in the room with the 3? crystals in them. Also the computer destruction part took its toll on most of the team.
What about the AVs? Third mission AV's went down no problem. Last mission we got hit hard at our first attempt at Romie, but then we found our groove and knocked him down consistently.
How did each scrapper's secondary do during the ITF? Overall, I think each held up well. The spines/invul did better than I thought he would. I say this because I have a invul/tank at around 43 and do okay during the ITF but ASSUMED the scrapper's /invul would be much lower in strength (and I don't think he was IO'ed either). The fire/regen player did well (noticed her because I hate fire melee animations).
And how did I do with /SR? Not as good as I thought I would do. Although I am at 48ish with both melee and range, with AOE I am only around low 30's. Needless to say those engineers were kicking my butt.
Our time was about 50 minutes and although that is slow for a "speed" ITF, that was a good pace for me and my mentor. It could have been MUCH quicker if there was better communication and everyone being on the same page.
All in all, I had a good time and am tempted to start forming these types of ITF, although I would open it up to brutes and stalkers as well.
If you have a chance to join one of these, I encourage you to do so.
