Since the TP field interrupts Recall Friend, it'd be much more sensical to only put the field in the VIP Room though.

Quote:Prestige doesn't fall under the suggestion because it's not TIME-limited. You're free to trade every last drop of inf you have for Prestige all at once, and you always have been. The Devs introduced Prestige as a means to make sure people wouldn't be able to insta-build big SG bases with Influence on Day One. You could argue we don't need Prestige anymore but it's now been in the game for five and a half years and at this point it's likely never going to be changed. Do you really think the Devs are ever going to bother removing any other "rich player regulators" like that?
I guess it's worth suggesting, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it either... -
Seriously, the cut scenes.
They are viewed often. -
The "once every x hours" restriction for several of the conversions in the game, such as Reward Merits to Alignment Merits, Alignment Merits to recipes, and Shards to Threads (at a 1:1 ratio) were meant to keep obscenely rich players from making tons of stuff on Day 1 of them going live and getting a big leap ahead of other players. It's not Day 1 anymore, so the restrictions aren't needed.
Moreover, the inf expense of some of these conversions is entirely meant to reduce the amount of available inf in the game. Positron told me this himself at the recent PAX East M&G. They're meant as the "rich person's alternative" to just running content. Removing the time limit from these conversions and letting players use them more would allow them to accomplish that goal more efficiently as well. -
Yeah I'm not reading your posts because you made it clear that you're against my suggestion so I don't have much incentive to engage you in discussion.

Mesmerize has a mag 4 sleep, which means it works on bosses in one shot. It's my emergency boss-stopper. I kinda need it for its sleep every time I use it.
I don't think it makes sense for an incarnate power to ruin a power's primary purpose like that, and Reactive is the best choice for my character otherwise. -
I doubt they'd be AVs, since the main thing about an archvillain is that it's a huge sack of HP. Even with only the incarnate powers we have now, defeating a whole mob of regular AVs with 24 players wouldn't be hard, just tedious.
-
Why bother with a higher difficulty at 50? You don't get anything extra for fighting higher level enemies except more inf.
-
Alright, if people can't see why it's wrong that the best Reactive powers ruin damaging Sleep powers I'm not gonna bother trying to convince them.

I thought the guy that teleports in during Marauder's cutscene in Lambda Sector looked unfamiliar, so I fired up the demo player to get a closer look.
HMMM!
Actually, I can just tell you who he is. According to the demo file he's an Olympian Guard. Judging from his facelessness and the similarity of his dress to other IDF guys, I think it looks like Neuron finally got the mass-produced Tyrant clone thing right. -
Or just Reactive if it's possible. Otherwise the DoT makes the power pretty useless.

Quote:Maybe something like this? So, if Defenders get a Cold APP.....what do the other 11 ATs get to make it fair?

Quote:You mean at PAX East? They didn't bring it up, I did. And they were like, "Uh... Erm..."they vaguely mentioned this badge when they brought up the info about the EU/US server list combining a month or 2 ago, so i wouldnt discount getting this completely just yet till we see what they do with it for the server list combining
they did not give any details about it at the time, but it was mentioned several times -
If there's no new content then it's not an issue, it's just a patch.

You know the kind I'm talking about. Moving NPCs start and stop, every power gets a pause at the end of its activation, powers say they're recharged when they're not, as if time slows down. It plagues nearly every big exciting thing you do in the game.
Before it was an annoyance, but now some of these timed trials are actually failing in part because of it. A BAF I was on failed at the prisoners phase because the prisoners' movement wasn't being slowed down by the lag, but our powers were. Another time, a Master of Lambda attempt failed because even though we had the right combination of powers to beat Marauder while enraged, the timer ran out because the lag slowed down activation and recharge but not the timer.
So in short, make it all better? Please? -
The badge text is somewhat misleading. When it says "defeat Siege and Nightstar" it means "win the trial", because truly defeating Siege and Nightstar is how you win the trial.

Which issue 6? The one that brought in hundreds of new players with the brand new expansion? That one? That's the one you think caused a dip in subscriptions?
-
I think it's going a bit far to blatantly call Emmert a liar.
-
What? What does the first half of your post have to do with the second half?
The impression I get is "Remember when issue 6 came out, and Jack Emmert made a gaffe, and then it took 7 months for issue 7 to come out?
"Well, with that in mind, please tell me everything that's being worked on now and when it will go live." -
They already know what Omega's gonna be, so it's a good guess they've got the other four planned out too.
-
What kind of random assortment is this? Magenta, Yellow, Cyan, Red, Orange, and Dark Blue? Why couldn't we use good ol' American Roy G. Biv?
I bet it's cause of those Commie color-blindies. You've ruined another thing with your inability to tell red from green! -
Eh, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that they were griefing. Ever heard of Hanlon's Razor?
-
Pets already take half damage from AoEs in trials.

Quote:What if you've made more than two teams?another idea.
The Game knows how many Acids and Gernades were collected. Do not have them randomly drop at that time. Upon being kicked out of those areas, whether it be by timer or completion. Half the Acids and Half the Gernades goto the respective team leaders. That way they can be distributed via the team or used by the leaders. -
Quote:Eh, I don't think you need to be really lucky. I have a Very Rare in all four of my main's new incarnate slots, and I didn't get anywhere near enough threads or Empyreans to craft my own Rare or Very Rare components; I got them all from trial end tables. Someone who runs their trials over the course of a few weeks might get enough Empyreans to make a few Rares of their own (most of the Empyreans I would've earned through trial completion were downgraded to Astrals because I ran the same trials multiple times in one day), but making Very Rares is only there for the extremely unlucky; You would truly have to have execrable luck to get no Very Rare reward tables in the time it took you to assemble the needed components for one Very Rare component. The idea is that you create your rare or very rare with Empyrean Merits and you craft another one with uncommons, threads, and inf. Of course, there is the chance that someone is really lucky and is able to get the very rares and rares through just the reward table.
