I got into this game because 2 of my RL friends were playing it and talking about it a lot so I went to Wal Mart and picked up a copy. This was my first MMO. First character I made was a fire/fire tank. When I first started playing this game, I had no idea what was going on. I thought about returning the game to the store. My RL friend came over to my house and he told me to make a scrapper because tanks suck. I didn’t question him, I just said ok. He made scrapper for me. I said let’s make a dark/dark scrapper but he said that dark was weak, so he made a Kat/Inv for me since he had a MA/SR and my other friend had a BS/Regen. He designed a costume for me that til this day I still use. 2-3 months later they left the game so I turned to the forum community.

The scrapper community has been really helpful. Arcanaville, BillZ and Stupid Fanboy to name a few.

My influence for making an Ice tank was an SG named Ulric. Ulric(Ice/mace) was one of the only Ice tanks I knew off. Back then Ice Tanks was rarely played. He left shortly after I decide to make an Ice Tank. Aetthorn and Circeus(who I havnt seen on the forum in years) were 2 of the leading source of information when it came to Ice tanks for me.

There have been many other people that have influenced me over the years. Some are here and some are not.

Sometimes I think to myself that it would be nice to see some of the old veterans return. Gone but not forgotten.

I brought my scrapper villain side to work on the villain badges.
Does running Focus Acc give enough perception to find him or do you still need yellows?

I'm really happy for all the changes.

So Radiation blast sucks on a defender. Does it suck on a Corrupter also? I was thing about making a Rad/Rad Corr. Does the secondary may up for the primaries weakness?

I have a WM/SD brute at 22. I may just reroll as a scrapper when i21 goes live.

Bots/Dark is one of the highest damaging combination.

I think you should keep going. Don't throw in the towel yet. As you get higher your set will get stronger. You are one more level away from SOs. Your tier 3 pet is 5 levels away.

Bots put out a lot of damage and Dark is one of the best secondaries for MMs. At level 32 you will get your second upgrade after that you should be shredding any enemies that get in your way.

Make sure you slot for Accuracy also and you may want to look at getting into the leadership pool.

After 6 years I finally changed my global name from Super IronBull to just Superbull. First character I created was named Super IronBull which was a fire/fire tank that I deleted the next day. I usually pick names that can be easily pronounced for all my characters. I have never purchased a character rename.

I love both sets.Both sets will perform well. Lack of Psi is a very minor issue with Inv that can be easily managed.

Ive been playing kat/Inv for 6 years now and think its a good set.

Welcome back. You will fine that the game has changed a lot since then. Another big change is around the corner.

You can solo with any AT but for me, my Masterminds have the easiest and most enjoyable to level solo with.

I wish they could make a Vault that could store anything, then I would pay for it. Extra enhancement slot has its worth. I usually delete cheaper salvage and recipes.

Im running Win 7 Enterprise 32 bit. For me it displays

/LaunchGame=CohBeta should go outside the quotation mark separated by a space.

My Thug/Dark does pretty decent damage. Nothing like getting a group of enemies stuck on Tar Patch and having the Thugs open fire on them.

I also have a Ninja/Traps. I agree with Jibikao. The lower level Ninjas chance of dieing is high. However their single target damage isn't so bad.

As much as the Arsonist dies, I still like having him. The set gets better as you level, but the arsonist is more likely to die more than the others. I give him Inspirations to increase his survival.

Im holding out for more information before making that decision. But so far it seems like it may work with MMs.
