Well I havent made a scrapper in 15 months, so its time to roll out a new one. I want to play something that I havent done before. Im torn between two things, Spines/Regen or Spines/Dark.
I like the idea of Regen and it seem slike it would be fun to try, but with the new Physical Perfection power, Im tempted to try /Dark. Which one would you guys for? If you have a build for that particular one, post that too -
Ok So ive decided for theme that I either want a AR or a Rad. Now the two secondaries are going to be Cold domination OR Thermal. Which do you guys think i should go with?
-
So I decided to do my next corr as a Cold Dom. since i have never done that before. THe only problem is that I cant pick a primary for PVE. I want one that I havent used before. Im thinking of either a Rad, Dark, or Electrial. Which one should I take?
-
I took all the cones/aoes and single targets. My widow is a mod killer. She opens up with build up, Eviscerate, spin, Pyschic scream, and finishes off with dark burst. Whatever survives get killed with single target attacks. I took TT:A and TT:M, but if you dont want to take an aoe, then maybe get Assualt from teh leadership pool?
-
Just wondering, but how high is the damage from OSA?
-
*jumps up and down, waving arms violently*
PICK ME! -
Yes, It does work. Just beware of certain Riktis and stuff in teh Shadow shard with high perception.
-
My second day of the game, I saw a Warshade teleporting around Atlas that was level 2. Sice I was only a level 6 noob, I asked him, "how did you get teleport at level 2?"
The guy didnt even respond. I feel kinda stupid now for asking that, but thats not the worst part.
Since the WS was in a medevil armor/ Spartan look to him, I assumed warshades were like time travling warriors or something. I thought that every WS was a warrior theme like the one I saw..... -
Heres my two cents.
At level one, I believe Conditioning is a .17 per second endurance increase. Thats barely noticeable in the higher levels since most of the attacks are endurance heavy. It was a nice idea to throw in that shows the background/training of VEATS, but its poorly executed. Maybe if it were bumped up to Fitness standards, or slightly lower than fitness standards, then it would be good.
oh and Captain_Lemming, please stop typing on here. I feel my brain cells slowly die as I read you posts. -
Thanks for the response guys. I took it, just to fill my attack chain. So far it is good. Ive noticed when Psi is resisted, it is heavily resisted. But most of the time, it is a great power for my chain. I usually start a mob with a build up- eviscerate-spin- scream-darts
-
So Biowraith has great advice. I made my crab a blaster/tanker/MM and I love it! I had a huntsman before so switching to this was easy. My attack chain is WAWG-Venom Gernade-Aim-Suppression- Frag. Then follow up with single target stuff. WAWG can be replaced with heavy burst if you want more aoe stuff.
I took wolf and crab armor upgrades. Mainly for the reason that if I die and use a wakie, I wont be stunned. It has great mag protection.
The most popular paths for crabs in the higher levels are taking the fitness pool, a patron for a extra AOE and pet, or more leadership stuff. -
This is my build for the scrapperish.

I did this. I took moslty melees. Solar flare, Dawn Strike, Photon Skeekers, Incandescent strike, radiant strike, blast, and eye blast.
I also took tough and weave, but if you didnt want those, you could drop that for the targeted Aoe and other attacks -
Havent read theres other posts, but heres what ive seen from my play.
Banes have no defense debuff resistance. Even though I was softcaped, I have seen my defense drop to below 30% before on an ITF. NWs have debuff resistance so their softcap stays. -
This is something I threw together really fast. Softcapped ranged and high 30s for everything else

My advice-
You want to keep the enemies at ranged. Crabs have ranged attacks and dominate from there, so it makes sense to focus on getting your ranged and Aoe defense softcapped.
Take Wide area web gernade. If you can keep them Immobilized and away from you, then it keeps them shooting at ranged.
6 slotted Thunderstrike gives you a 3.75% ranged boost, so slot those into your single target attacks. Slot TT:M with Red fortune for the extra 2.5% ranged. Aim slotted with Guassians for the 2.5%.
Maybe consider Combat jumping for the extra defense boost. -
my huntsman is my favorite toon to play. Hes such a mob killer and a team buffer. Look at the guide for one, then watch the video that the guide-maker has on you tube. One is of her soloing a Meyhem mission with the huntsman. Its really awesome
-
while we are talking about widows, is pyschic scream worth taking? Ive seen alot of mixed reviews about it.
-
I dont believe so. Although I havent played my bane in a while, so dont quote me.
-
So, im very new to widows. Love my bane and huntsman and decided to give widows a shot. Here's my Night widow build. Is it very good? What does it need? What can be improved, etc.
Went for Perma mind link and high defenses.

Bestbuy has a whole self of COX stuff now. MIssion architect eddtion, GVE edition, game cards, etc.
-
WOOOT! It was already my favorite VEAT, but now its slightly cooler!
-
I agree with the author. I hate AE farms, but all people do is farm. I suggest dropping AE to no xp. I know that sounds dumb, but think about it. AE is meant for the players to make story arcs that are fun/challanging/ expand on their characters. It would make become more like it was meant to be played.
-
Banes= a weaker version, yet team friendly version of a Mace/SR stalker with some nice, fun tools.
Crabs= multiple options, but great AoE. Multiple pets (can have up to 6). High resistance, and a heal. Commonly called "Blastertankerminds"
Huntsman= a more team friendly verison of a VEAT. A solid AOE attack chain (refer to the guides for info about teh chain). NIce debuffs (yes they debuff). Essentially, best for teaming, but can solo fairly well. -
I did 3 resist IOs and 3 Healing IOs. I 5 slotted health with 2 miracles (includign the unique), the +regen unique from regenerative tissue, and two numinas.
