PB 'scrapper'
I did this. I took moslty melees. Solar flare, Dawn Strike, Photon Skeekers, Incandescent strike, radiant strike, blast, and eye blast.
I also took tough and weave, but if you didnt want those, you could drop that for the targeted Aoe and other attacks
I came up with this... I guess 30.7% melee def is good enough with my resists and such:

I think I'd actually take Gleaming Bolt over Glinting Eye if I were to make a Kheldian Scrapper-type, solely because it provides an excellent place to slap Achilles' Heel -Res, Analyze Weakness +ToHit, and Decimation's BuildUp in.
Yeah I'm considering that. Although I don't care for the decimation build-up proc (too little of a chance), I'd use achilles heel, devastation chance for hold and lady grey chance for negative damage.
Glinting eye takes the achilles heel proc too.
Also, one thing I have noticed about my PB is Solar Strike costs a LOT of end (Over 18 points) to use it regularly without sucking air, you'd have to lower that quite a bit.

The big difference is in cast time and recharge. Gleaming Bolt is 1.5s recharge base, 1s cast time, while Glinting Eye is 4s recharge base and 1.67s cast, so Gleaming Bolt is easier to weave in with your main attacks.

I've found this to be true too. As a filler I like it better... Plus I like the baseball throw animation and the look of the bolt (that wild energy look). Glinting Eye is the only PB attack that looks 'clean' (straight, precise lazers) compared to all the fuzzy wild energy look of the rest of the PB attacks.
I would get pulsar because that is a good PBAOE stun. I have a pb built like that. I have didnt go tough and weave because its an end killer. You will want to get Io sets that grant kb resist, end recovery, and recharge as well as mez resist or reduction.
I like Pulsar..really. Used to have it 6-slotted. But in play I just never seem to need it. Soloing, I proved tough enough to fight the smaller mobs without worrying. Pulsar mezzed the minions but since they could't hurt me too much, using Pulsar basically slowed me down,
On teams, well, other ATs control better than PBs.
Now, if they'd cut down on the animation time (and make it a handclap) and also raised the mag so it'd have a reliable shot of mezzing bosses, then I might reconsider...

I'm trying to build a human-only PB to basically blast and scrap it out. My question is, which of the AoEs from Human are worth it?
Any builds would be welcome too so I could have a basis.
