Only if you use the Legacy Fitness (ie pick swift/health/stamina manually).
The Inherent Fitness still has the exclusivity turned on, so you can't activate a form and stamina at the same time.
I looked around a bit in the database editor, but I can't figure out how to turn that exclusivity off. It's probably part of the "Kheldian" group setting under the mutual exclusivity settings, but that's not showing up as editable for me.
So, right now at least, you either just have to remember to add in +25% (+49% with 3 even SOs) recovery to the total you get with the forms active, or skip 3 powers you intend to take and use the Legacy Fitness powers in the build. -
That's what I was afraid of.
Oh well, guess I'll sit on the morality mission for a couple of levels until I can get them spent.
Thanks! -
At what point do you actually lose any alignment merits while changing sides?
Is it when you actually change alignments or only when you physically travel to the other side's zones?
I've got a new character that I've started to take to Vigilante status, and he's got 3 Hero Merits right now. Unfortunately, I can't spend them at the moment as he's still a couple of levels too low for the IO I want to buy with them.
I'm worred that if I finish his morality switch to Vigilante, I'll be risking/losing the merits before getting a chance to spend them. -
Neither of those names is going to get you generic'd (well, there's always a chance I suppose, if you get a GM in a particularly bad mood or something....but very unlikely)
You've mentioned that they are more references to a Class or Group rather than actual individual names of existing characters. And they are pretty obscure ones even at that.
Don't worry about it on those. Besides, in the very unlikely situation that they are generic'd, you'll be given a chance to choose new names for them anyway.
[Note, I'm not saying go hog-wild and purposely or blatantly violate the copyright rules, as repeated infractions could potentially lead to bannings, but as long as you don't go overboard or make xxWolverinexx or 'Da Hulk', you'll be fine] -
Power Proliferation has finally come to the civilians !!!
Strange, I didn't notice any of that last night (on Guardian),
I'll have to pay more attention tonight. -
Heh, "so this here is my AV killer" . . . .
"Sure it takes about 3 hours to actually drop the AV, but he never moves after the first 20 seconds"
I've never tried that. I think I'll have to take one of my higher level guys and try to spec him out for nothing but hold and recharge and give it a try -
Quote:I thought this one was from another graphic novel as well.Zack Snyder's previous films of 300 and Watchmen have certainly pulled the fantastic into a realistic kind of world. This time, he gets to work with an original story instead of having to copy a previously well-known story.
I'm not sure if that makes me want to see this more or want to avoid this more . . .
(either way, it's probably destined to only make it onto the netflix list rather than $30.00 of movie theatre tickets) -
There's a post in the announcement sections about the new security levels on the NCSoft Master Accounts.
If I remember right, there are instructions on what to do if you can't remember your security questions. -
You appear to be trying to find it via the "START" button where all your shortcuts are stored.
There isn't a shortcut to the folder.
You have to use windows explorer to go to the directory directly.
(or browse to it while in a picture display/editor).
The path is: C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\screenshots
and the screenshots will be files within that folder
(If you're running a 64 bit OS then it will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\screenshots)
You can also put the path into the search entry in Vista/Win 7 (or the "run" command entry in XP) and it will pop open an explorer window to the folder.
Note that if you installed city into some other directory than the default setup, you'll have to explore/browse to that directory instead of the paths listed above.
Basically screenshots are stored in a sub-directory off of the City of Heroes main directory. -
According to Crucial's memory finder, the c700 cto laptop has 2 single slot banks.
It should currently have 2 512mb sticks for a total of 1GB on the laptop, and can accept up to 2 1GB sticks.
Crucial is selling them for $19.00 each.
(I'm not recommending you buy Crucial -- who you get them from is up to you, but this at least gives you the info to buy the right kind).
Here's a link the memory sticks you need:
http://www.crucial.com/store/listpar...o%20C700%20CTO
Edit: what that means is, since it's 2 single-slot banks, you can "get away" with mis-matched memory. So you could just buy 1 1gb stick and take out one of the 512 sticks to go to 1.5gb. But for best performance (and a whole extra 20 bucks), if you're going to do the hassle of an upgrade, I'd recommend that you buy two of them and go to a full 2gb. -
Re-run your Hijack This to make sure the stuff is really gone.
Especially since you said "I tried out Rockmelt, wasn't impressed with it, and haven't used it since. Yahoo and Ask toolbars aren't on either Chrome, or Firefox. I think they were used for IE, but I never really used IE.", yet the apps were still running on your system when you posted the original Hijack.
Plus, getting adware like SmartShopper off of your system isn't always as easy as it first looks (and simply deleting things will often leave a stub out there that silently re-loads it). -
Memory sticks need to be placed in groups, but the configuration is dependent on how the motherboard is setup.
There are boards with 2 single-slot setups, there are boards with 1 (or 2 or even 3) sets of dual-slot setups, and there are boards with 1 or more tri-slot setups.
Also, you have to make sure to get the right kind of memory stick. Pin-counts, memory speed and timings, etc. Plus, laptop memory is different than desktop memory (so make sure you buy the right kind).
You need to get the exact setup for your motherboard. If you want to post the exact model (rather than just Presario), we can help you look it up. -
Leo,
That's REALLY wierd. I've never seen that kind of behavior.
My "comets" are all spinning at the same speeds, and nowhere nearly as fast as yours.
All of mine that I've tried so far (Fly, Tough, Weave, Hover, Sprint, and Stealth) are all
spinning at the same rate and are about as fast as your Sprint seems to be.
Your Fly toggle (and the other, couldn't make out which one it was) are spinning at what
appears to be easily 3x or 4x of any of my toggles...
I wonder if there's something that might be tied to the graphics levels or card used?
(Win7-64bit, GTX 480, Full Ultra-Mode [except water, I don't like the super-reflective oceans] -- but I've never seen that kind of spin rate even on my older machines or before Ultra-Mode) -
Heck, I'm still trying to figure out how the 5th Column lost to the Council in the first place.
Every time I see a 5th vs Council mob fight, it's the Council who loses.
I don't think I've seen a single fight where there's any Council troops still standing at the end of it, since they started having the street battles.
Which is making the various "Hunt x Council in Boomtown" missions a REAL PAIN to complete. Most of the time, all the Council are dead before I can get in more than a few swings....and then all the remaining 5th Column mobs decide to beat on me. -
Quote:Just to add one caveat to the responses you've already gotten:Is there a way to make Tips drop faster? I'm doing radio missions in bricks on my 32 scrapper and I have had ZERO drops all day...
You can only have 5 tip missions "completed" at a time.
Each "completed" tip mission expires (so it can be "completed" again) in 20 hours.
If you've used up your 5 slots [you can see them on the tips screen] then new tips
won't drop until at least one of the completed tip slots expires and opens up.
[There's actually 3 things there - total tips completed for current alignment (need 10 total to get a morality mission), total tips completed for alignment shift (need 10 total to get a morality mission), and currently completed tips blocking your 5 per day limit]
If you aren't getting tips then
1) make sure you're fighting level 20+ mobs
2) make sure you're on the right side (Paragon/Rogue Isles) if you are a Vig or Rogue
3) make sure you have open slots in your 5/day marker -
You gave up on Story Arcs at level 30?
Why? Story Arcs are the main "real" content in the game.
And the arcs in the 40-50 range are some of the most involved and deeper story content around. -
Quote:Just an open comment/question:So? The sets don't play anything alike. I want to make a tank character with built in +recharge, that's very hard to hit, has scaling resists, and doesn't wave a shield around.
Is that wrong to want because "Shield numbers are virtually identical?"
Not that I'm against the idea of an SR Tanker, I'm not (I've got 3 SR scrappers), but...
What exactly would an SR Tanker bring to the table that an SR Scrapper can't?
Given Tanker numbers, an easier soft-cap, but it's not exactly hard to cap SR now.
More Hit Points, but does it really make much survivability difference after soft-cap?
More AoE capability, but that's the attack powers not the SR powers.
Less Damage, More End, No Crits; again attack set not SR set.
Actually, I guess the same question can be asked of Shield Tanks vs Shield Scrappers. -
If you had a full (ie real, not just a trial) account going, then it should be in your NCSoft Master Account and all you need to do it purchase more game-time (via time card, paypal, or setting up a billing plan).
If you were working with nothing but trial account(s) then you'll still need to get a full account (either by the invite or by getting it yourself from retail or the nc store). -
I'm pretty sure the actual settings are local to the machine (registry entries most likely), as I've played on one of my older low-end machines where graphics have to be set to minimums and then went back to my high-end machine with full ultra-mode and didn't need to reset anything between them.
However, I do know that the position of all of your toolbars and windows are stored server side. The low-end machine is on a much smaller monitor than the high-end machine and I have to move all the toolbars/windows around each time I swap between machines. -
Heck, ever since the MASSIVE reduction in prestige costs, a single-toon SG is perfectly viable and IS player housing.
-
To add a note:
I assume you know, but just in case....
When it does fire - it only gives YOU the build-up effect, even if it's in a team buff power like Tactics. -
All of my 50's are now incarnates. Of course, that's just the eight of them . . . .
1 Scrapper, 2 Tanks, 2 Controllers, 1 MasterMind, 1 Blaster, and 1 Defender
They all only have the basic Common level enhancement slotted though (and a couple of them haven't got that done yet).
I rarely PUG and even more rarely actually run TFs, so they've all just been earned via normal mob-defeat shard drops.
Let's see: I've done the ITF several times, Lady Grey once, and that's it for the high-level TFs, so I don't see any of them getting the more intense enhancements built any time soon. -
I'm a little late in adding this, but . . .
I, personally, think that Chuck "jumped the shark" a while ago.
I still enjoy the show and continue watching it, but I see it rather rapidly degenerating.
As this episode ended however, I'm sitting there thinking to myself
"Now THAT would have been a perfect series finale." (or at least a season finale).
My wife and I actually groaned a bit when the teaser for next weeks episode came on. -
A lot depends on how you use it. It's not that hard to get away with minimal slotting, but the more you can put in, the better it is of course.
Personally, here's my slotting preference:
Achilles Heel: Def Debuff/Recharge (level 20)
Achilles Heel: Chance for Resistance Debuff Proc (any level)
Undermined Defenses: Recharge (level 40+)
Undermined Defenses: Def Debuff/Recharge (level 40+)
Analyze Weakness: Accuracy/Def Debuff (level 40+)
Analyze Weakness: Accuracy/Recharge (level 40+)
This gives a bonus of: 48% Acc, 64% Def Debuff, 95% Recharge
Along with a +3.5% global damage increase and a +10% regeneration increase -
If you don't want to go with a Plant/Thorn dominator, then I'd say give a Plant/Storm controller a try.
It's very synergistic and VERY powerful feeling, so long as you don't mind a lot of "Mass Chaos Control"
