Stuck at lvl 43

So after finally transferring my prize toon over to Virtue, I was able to get up to Level 43, with the help of a new SG, but I seem to be stuck now.

I've been trying to run new TF's but everyone always seems to lean towards the TF of the Week and I'm getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again. At this point, I think I've lost count of how many times I've run an ITF.

Any suggestions? Since I'm a vigilante, could I run over to red side and do something new there? (With the exception of contacts and standard missions, I gave up doing those at Level 30)

missions is missions is missions.

doesn't matter where you do them or with whom.

You get your most rewards by... COMPLETING MISSIONS.

So hey, having a hard time? Go knock out a few story arcs that you gave up doing and you'll be leveling up once again.

I don't understand these two sentences. What new TFs are you trying to run? Apex and Tin Mage? And how does being tired of ITF relate to the TF of the week? The TF of the week is not ITF, it's Sister Psyche and Silver Mantis.

I believe you can run paper missions on Red side. (My rogue can run radio mishes blue side.) Obviously you could run a Silver Mantis, Tips, or team up with anyone on red side as well.

Well, there is your problem right there.

What AT are you? No, actually, it doesn't matter. Do a story arc, get great xp not just from missions but from the arc completion bonus. Refuse to do that? Do task forces. Refuse to do that? There isn't really anything else, save farming.

My advice? Jump on a Katie Hannon TF, the xp for 10 AV fights is good, and the tf is short. Or whatever the WTF is--and no, the ITF has not been chosen as one yet.

Perhaps I should have been more clear? From the launch of Weekly Task Force until today, the ITF has not been a weekly strike target.

But nice contribution to the thread.

Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with contacts and standard missions?

Understanding why you don't like that type of content will make it easier for us to suggest content that you might like.

On redside, you could try running a Patron arc to unlock the Patron power pools. If you want something easy, select Black Scorpion's arc.
For something rather interesting and will keep you on your toes, select Capt Mako's arc.
For a mix of AVs and story, do either Sciroco's or Ghost Widow's arc.
There are also a lot of excellent Dev Choice missions in AE.
Ouroborus flash back missions are another option.
Does your SG plan MS raids? Doing raids is another option.

If all you're interested in is leveling as quickly as possible then ITFs are the way to go. People are always running them on Virtue so it's easy to get a team and run one.

If you don't want to run an ITF and want to team then the best option is to start your own teams. Join some of Virtue's global channels (Virtue TFs and Virtue LFG Alpha are both good) and use them to recruit team members. TFs other than the ITF and the WST are less common, that is true, but my experience is that if you're willing to start it you can normally find people.

Personally I like running the Striga TFs (especially Hess) as a means of leveling characters when I don't feel like an ITF. Both of those TFs are pretty short (less than an hour) give a nice chunk of experience and are high enough level that you have most of your interesting powers.

Alternatively if you prefer solo play consider running through some of the story arcs. Tina Macintyre's arc is fun and a good way to get Anti-Matter for credit towards Dimensional Warder. I also quite like Angus McQueen's arc. And there are always the RWZ arcs.

You gave up on Story Arcs at level 30?

Why? Story Arcs are the main "real" content in the game.

And the arcs in the 40-50 range are some of the most involved and deeper story content around.
