No KO Blow, just those 3 powers I mentioned. Rage crashes are merely a bump in the road, not a gamestopper

Aside from Web Grenade, Power Boost in Traps only affects the effects (hehe) of pseudopets, not actual pets.
Powers in Traps that are pseudopets (and will get buffed by PB):
Triage Beacon*
Caltrops (slow)
PGT (hold duration)
Trip Mine*
Powers in Traps that are 'actual' pets (and won't get buffed by PB):
Acid Mortar
FFG
Seeker Drones
*While Trip Mine and Triage Beacon are eligible to be buffed by PB, none of their effects are actually enhanced by it (PB boosts heal but not regen, and as of a few issues it doesn't affect KB either) -
A phased enemy will still trigger the mines, but won't be damaged.

Didn't look at your build at all but you can't go wrong with the Punch - Haymaker - Punch - Gloom chain. I used that on my SS/WP Brute and could drop a Pylon in 8-10 minutes. I'd imagine that with Lightning Reflexes and a bit more +rech in the build you can do Punch - Haymaker - Gloom and push out more DPS

I don't use any melee attacks on my Blaster and I can solo AVs and GMs on her ^_^

It's been confirmed for a long time now, tried and true knowledge

And, my god is this thread creepy. Reminds me of that NAMBLA episode in South Park where one guy was defending himself saying he stood for love and care and feelings when having sex with children. Now I'm not saying ERP'n is just as bad as having sex with children, but it's still a very disturbing thing to do.
This is an online videogame based on comic book super heroes, not some creepy sex chatroom where a bunch of 40 year old guys come and have "virtual sex" with each other. Aside from being creepy it's also out of place, go play Second Life or The Sims or something -

Quote:Yeah, except Infrigidate doesn't stackInfrigidate, from Cold, is -31% defense debuff (on a defender), and with minimal slotting stacks twice. With more aggressive recharge slotting you could get that up to 3x stacking, down side is it has to hit. Up side is a pretty vicious (-87% recharge) slow it inflicts as well.

You can see a player's local name in a global channel by left clicking on his global handle (which makes people with a bind showing their local name obsolete and redundant). A chatbind showing $level and $archetype is about all the pertinent information you can include without being overly spammy (unless you're an Arachnos Soldier/Widow)

All TFs can be soloed except for maybe the STF, RSF and a few TFs that have you click simultaneous glowies.
Yes, they do require you to be very well equipped (either IO'd to the gills or loaded on temps/shivans/nukes) since they usually include one or more AVs that you'll have to solo. -
Quote:One target is usually more than enough for HL, and the buff portion of the power is autohit (the debuff portion has an accuracy check though). You will need to get pretty close for heat loss, it may not be enough with just one target to keep you're blue filled up, and it *can* still miss if I remember correctly....just another thing to consider.
Cold should be able to do AVs just fine, but I just don't see it taking down GMs. It's not realistic to achieve the huge amounts of +recharge bonuses needed to make /Cold viable while still having enough +defense bonuses to survive.
Cold also has you reapply debuffs pretty often, which interrupts your chain and lowers your DPS; a problem /Radiation doesn't have.
Edit: it's also a shame that the defense values from Arctic Fog don't stack with those from Frozen/Rock Armor -
I think that cap was raised recently, so that you can have higher than 100% mez resistance. Don't quote me on it though, but I seem to recall it did
-
People would probably be less inclined to play the powerset if that happened
-
Quote:Not quite.(1) Yes. Green mitos have mag 50 mez protection. Benumb will reduce this.
Benumb doesn't reduce mag protection, it reduces mez resistance, making the holds last longer therefore making it easier to hold the greens (or anything its applied to)

Fighting pool works better when combined with other powers (ie stacking Tough + epic resistance shield and Weave with Hover/CJ and +def set bonuses)

Slotted Teleport on the other hand, will allow you to move very far, very fast.

Quote:I already said what I had to say in my previous 3 posts, if your skull is too thick to understand basic english and you're unable to grasp the concept of basic logic (resulting in "pedantic" to you) then that's your problem *shrug*The only power you can possibly be talking about is Darkest Night, which technically could be defined as self stacking if the individual timed pulses were not flagged to not stack. That's true of all toggles.
Of course, there are no examples of debuff toggles that behave that way. The only buff toggles that behave that way are those which have to self stack because they buff off of multiple opponents, such as Invincibility, RttC or AAO. So assuming that's what you're talking, you'd be once again being highly pedantic.
Of course, if that's not what you're talking about, I'd love more details. Please, do enlighten.
There are times when you have to act maturely and say "hey man sorry I was wrong" instead of throwing a hissy fit like a frustrated middle aged woman

Quote:I never suggested they were slow or unsafe, I just said all other ATs have a combination of powersets than can do what he did, probably faster and safer *shrug*One word: ???
It's like the people who say "hitting homeruns out of the park is easy" when they've never even held a baseball bat. I would highly suggest you observe some high-level Warshades before suggesting that they are not fast or safe and cannot play without their inherent power.
Let's not derail this thread with unrelated opinions, to keep on topic I would suggest the OP rolls a Scrapper, since it's the best newbie-friendly AT. Broadsword/Willpower would be a good choice.
I'd suggest a Brute too, but later on teams will be expecting you to "tank" (or rush in first to take the alpha and survive) and you might find yourself bearing a little more responsability than you're prepared to handle. -
Quote:Every AT can do that with one combination or another, probably faster and safer, and in the case of defenders and tankers, without the assitance of an inherent.Gah, I have to stomp this out now. I am on a personal mission to prove that Kheldians do not suck.
I recently grabbed seven random people for Baby New Year teams and then proceeded to solo the mission with my warshade. I had several people ask "Remind me again why you needed a team?"
Kheldians are indeed the worst AT IMHO
As for the best, it depends on what you want to do. Each AT is best at something different -
Depends on which powers

If the power is a debuff, and its main purpose is to debuff (Infrigidate, Shiver, Snow Storm) they won't stack. If the power is an attack or control, its main purpose being to do damage or mez, and it has a slow as a secondary effect (Ice Blast, Ice Sword, Block of Ice) then it will stack
