Pylon Soloing Help..
Why doesn't energize have doctored wounds 5/slotted for heal/rech and 5% rech bonus? If you still want to cap your healing, you can still keep the 6th slot. It's not like doctored wounds is expensive to get either. (yes, I'm basically campaigning to make this the standard slotting for energize)
To answer your question about SS/ single target damage, I would say my answer would be "I wouldn't". It just doesn't have a smooth single target chain. However, if you want to up your single target damage, pick up gloom over Mu Lightning. You'll find the damage higher (212.4 vs. 159.3 slotted on your build at 0% fury), and a 0.07 second faster casting time. It is a DoT attack, but when soloing a pylon, that doesn't matter at all.
Also if you want more HP and won't use footstomp that often, take a look at the eradication set. The 4th bonus is an additional 2.25% HP, which is quite a bit. You could then drop the FF proc (I know, blasphemy) and 2 slot in a scirr for the 10% regen back. Or, just move that extra slot from energize over to health and get the regenerative tissue +regen unique for 30% more regen. Or both.
I picked up energize on the respec, so I haven't looked at how to slot it with sets so I'll look into doctored wounds. When last I played Energize was Conserve Power which I didnt' really need.
Hmm...I'll look at the alternative footstomp slotting as well..but I do love me some forced feedback +recharge.
Another alternative I was thinking:
Drop CJ
Drop SJ (ninja run+swift+sprint+lightining reflexes should be 'fast')
Pickup GI or invis and put the CJ slots in there.
Pickup hasten (again).
I originally took MU Mastery for the end drain component and the -knockback. However, I don't really need either. As long as I can slot the Devestations and thunderstrikes in gloom I'm good.

As for eradication, I'm just throwing out the option of that particular set for more +HP. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get out some decent numbers and fit in the FF proc, but you might.
Sounds like you have some things to toy around with.
As for a travel power, I used to hop around on a nin/nin stalker with combat jumping and hurdle extensively slotted for jump. Ninja Run would be even better now (and your toggles should be fine)
Yeah, I'd probably pick up hasten.
I had hasten until the last respec, but since I already had +62.5 global recharge, that was close enough to perma-hasten.
I might look at some +damage bonuses, but with double stacked rage I have +160% damage. Not to mention fury and basic slotting.
Hasten means an additional end dump...but since I'm not having end problems anyway....

Didn't look at your build at all but you can't go wrong with the Punch - Haymaker - Punch - Gloom chain. I used that on my SS/WP Brute and could drop a Pylon in 8-10 minutes. I'd imagine that with Lightning Reflexes and a bit more +rech in the build you can do Punch - Haymaker - Gloom and push out more DPS
Do you get anything for soloing pylons?

Did you use KO Blow? How much health did it regen during the rage crash? I was thinking about using my vet powers at that point: blackwand, shadow maul and the nemesis staff....

No KO Blow, just those 3 powers I mentioned. Rage crashes are merely a bump in the road, not a gamestopper

It has to do with finding efficient attack chains, which is something I never was good at calculating. KO is a great attack, but in a chain it is a bit slow, which can lower the sustained DPS against a hard target.
It doesn't mean KO is bad - far from it. It is just that if you have something you're going to whack at for a few minutes, determining which attacks will give you the highest sustained DPS is important. This isn't quite as important in normal gameplay.

Hmm...I'm curious, why no KO Blow? Didn't need it? I spammed it quite a bit..and, obviously, my results were not nearly as good as your's....I have to think about a respec.

However, I would look at it from a different angle.
You've chosen the Mu patron power pool which is generally chosen for more AoE potential, i.e. Ball Lightning, with the weaker single target attack Mu Lightning.
For better single target potential, you will want Soul Mastery and Gloom with the weaker AoE attack Dark Obliteration.
I also recommend hopping into a rikti spawn before the fight to jump start your fury.
With your current recharge, you would be able to run:
KO Blow > Gloom > Haymaker > Punch > Gloom > Haymaker
With about a .5s gap between punch and Gloom.
And that will definitely allow you to take down a pylon.
Don't get me wrong, Mu Lightning is an ok attack - but it simply has nothing on Gloom.
Understandably, you might not want to respec to Gloom specifically for soloing Pylons.
Just make sure you have slotted for End reduction in KO Blow or you might be left layign next to the pylon. lol
OK...I have a SS/Ele brute that I recently respec'ed into a more single target build and I thought I could easily solo a Rikti Pylon....but we fought to a no contest. It could have eventually taken me down, but there was no way I could pump out enough damage to take it down. I'll attach the data chunk at the end of the post.
The build focused on +HP, +ACC, +recharge...there's not a single purple or PVP IO to be found in it. Any suggestions/thoughts/comments would be appreciated.
