What would be a safe recharge time on domination to not have to worry about slows? I've been working on a hastenless build but the barely there perma dom has me worried. How often do you see slows really hurting?
-
The only thing I can think is you weren't running rooted at the time. It has a sizable portion of your DDR in it.
-
There is a new Warrior/BM farm where you get States as an ally. It's given by Maria. Not bad if States knocking everything all over the place doesn't infuriate you.
-
I just unlocked it and plan on saving it on my new scrapper. Next time I see you chatting on Radio Virtue I'll send a tell so you can smack Anti down.
-
I have been playing with kinetic melee a lot lately and scratching my head on the best chain to use. Does anyone know the top dps chains for kinetic melee and the recharge times required for each attack?
Right now I am thinking its Smashin Blow - Focused Burst - Smashing Blow - Concentrated Strike, but I don't think I see a dps difference if I add in a Body Blow to keep the recharge time of CS more manageable. -
I am going to regret this 3 hours in, but I will be there. Fire/wp scrapper.
-
Also I don't know if you monitor your recharge in combat but it will not ever boost your recharge. Shield charge summons a pet and the pet is what gets the recharge bonus, which is pointless.
-
Im not sure if this is still the case, or maybe im making it up completely, but I remember hearing that it didnt work in SC or LR due to the powers summoning a pet. I place mine in thunderstrike and have no complaints. I watch it fire often.

This is the build I plan on using on the dp/traps defender I am currently levelling. It will obviously need modifications for a corruptor but gives you another way of looking at things. My plan is to go accuracy/defense for my incarnate to finish off my soft capped defenses. Perma hasten with purples but could be made cheaper and not much less effective by swapping them out.

Quote:You can not increase the percent a power debuffs resistance, but luckily for cold you can stack Sleet, so in effect you are boosting the percent debuff on additional cast.I rolled a cold/cold corr here the other day and was trying to figure out if I can enhance the % a power debuffs resistance? I know you can get enhancements that effect the def debuff % but was not sure if there was any for debuff res?
(and the achiles proc can also be placed in sleet) -
Quote:According to Turbo_Ski's guide heat loss is auto hit on the target and requires a check for any surrounding targets. I can not verify it except to say I can not remember ever not hitting atleast 1 target with it.The only really bad part is that all the debuffs on cold require a hit check. Benumb and Heat Loss will miss every so often even with sleet stacking.
Subjectively bad is my estimate cost for a build I got to 211% recharge. At that recharge PA's recharge is at 59 seconds and Heat loss is very near perma (for the buff not the debuffs) at recharge of 94 seconds.
Nobody mentions this thread when people ask about how good it is.
Your build hits the same recharges mine does and I believe choosing the recharge incarnate enhancement will make heat loss perma. -
Im in, schedule permitting of course

Wow great memory Vik. I can verify that is my fire blaster and that is Aylas archer. The rest you named definitely seem right.
-
I'm in. Would it help to roll a second build with IR six slotted for jump?
-
-
As of right now he's a level 41 Arch/mm blaster. By then he will 50.
-
Put me down for both days. Scrappy Hood will be running his second build with all the goodies for stealthing and teleporting.
-
Is there a spot on the list for "will do everything I can to be there". Hope work doesn't screw it up. I'll be on a blaster.
-
Looks solid to me but I would switch some things around. I would pull a slot out of PF and put it in health with another miracle for added recovery. I would swap the LOTG defense in PF for a kismet +acc. I would slot five armageddons and 1 force feedback +rech in thunderstrike, and slot the 6 oblits that are in thunderstrike in lightning rod. I notice on my shield/elec that the force feedback proc in thunderstrike fires all the time and you cant slot the proc in lightning rod.
-
I'd like to join you. Might have some friends interested too.
-
Ill be there... either blaster or cold/ice defender

I think one person taking vengeance should be more then enough. I do not have a preference either way as far as red or blue goes. I could use the help finally getting a villain off the ground. But theres a reason heroes hold my heart so either way is fine with. Weekends are usually best for me as the week can be a little unpredictable, i can always force Mrs. Scrappy to fill in if work screws up the occasional day though.
