Do the immobs in Grav have a -KB in them? Meaning will the KB powers send the foes flying while I have Lift on?

tier 1 melee attacks
ET and TF from Nrg Melee since the nerf
Cobra Strike (should have made a cone attack) No reason MA gets only dragon tail as its AoE.
Focussed Accuracy since the nerf. (End too high, would rather have tactics)


ok and here is my most hated power... Speed Boost. There needs to be a way to either turn it off or decline the boost. I can't tell you how many group wipes were caused by people over running the spawn and aggroing a 2nd or 3rd grp. Granted I know people can just ask to not be SB'd, but it inevitabely happens anyway whether by accident or on purpose. ok I'll take my flames name.

I posted a ton of 1inf stuff redside last night. Also got 5 lv 10 steadfast res +3% def recipes as drops from AE tickets ont he same toon in about an hour. Kept 2 and send the rest to the market. Someone got a steal as I listed it for 100,000 by accident. lol Your welcome!

Ya the Endo problems in the early 20s and late 30s was tough. I have respec'd this toon abotu 5 times and I think I have the build I want. End build will be soft capped @ range, over soft cap w/ 1 parry application, and Res at about 60 w/ tough. The body mastery is nice, love the red torrent.
Toon is an obvious homage to the famous Star Wars character, and a couple of my costumes reflect the change over the characters progression towards the "evil" side. This will be my first toon to go rogue when its out. Seems a fitting transition.

Im going to call him complete once I have both of my builds fully IO'd out. Not purples, but definately needs some Def bonuses. One build will be my AoE PvE teamign build w/ CoF, Damage aura, only AoE attacks (parry and hack only ST), and probably go Darkness to get the hold and/or fear attacks. The other build will be my AV killer going all defense and ST attacks focusing on +rech so I can get the infamous HS, DE, Hack attack chain.

Well, Ive been playing CoX since late 2007. It's my most favorite game I have ever played. I have probably 30 Alts between levels 20 and 40, and up until Saturday morning had never had a 50.
Finally, the 2nd toon I ever created, Anakin Citywalker, a BS/DA/Body Scrapper has dinged 50 while teaming against an AV (cant remember which one, but she is in PI and named Moon something).
I love this game, and the player base in it. Now time for my 1st Villain to ding 50. Probably going to be my Stalker (lvl 40) or Corrupter (lvl 38).

Thanks to all that have helped me to get to 50. If you have seen my toon before feel free to post. Cheers to all!

Fire, I'll I was saying is that Mids is not *only* used as a maxing tool. Lots of people use it to see how different powersets can work together and to create ideas. The example was just that, an example, but it was meant to make my point. If you are trying to get a certain storyline or character concept out of a new toon, Mids is a very helpful tool. By no means is it the only tool. I use mostly paragon wiki to make my character ideas.
Either way, not a huge deal. If you don't like Mids or those who use it, just don't look in the rate my buld threads. Cheers!

Sorry Fire-Minded, but I completely disagree. While there are those who just want to min/max (and thats ok) there are LOTS of people who use Mids to blue print what powers to take and when as well as what powers need which slots/enhancements sooner or later. Yes while the constant stream of rate my build so I can farm threads are annoying, you don't HAVE to go into that topic. Maybe the theme for the toon only matters if he/she can be very good.

I mean, if you were going to make the daughter of say Magneto and Storm, you arent going to want her to suck are you. Especially since she is supposedly the offspring of 2 class 4 mutants or whatever.

Point is, just cause you don't like min/maxing, doesnt mean others aren't welcome to use it. Oh and don't fault the program for it either. Mids didnt start farmers or min/maxers, just like Mcdonald's doesnt make fat people. Its the people's fault either way.

Question for those who have gone Arch/TA. How do you set up spawns at higher lvls? Meaning do you go Oil Slick, Acid, Disrup, BU, RoA, Explosive, Fistful? Whats the usual AoE flavored attack chain is my question I guess. Thanks!

Seems to me that if you used the 3-4 attacks, ninja run, all of fitness, aid other/self/rez, all of leadership, you would still be very strong. Hmmmm

Thats a cool concept. I already have TP Foe on my MA/Nin, so TP friend was eventually coming (mostly to 2 slot the BotZ). Im not sure if I have room for 3 other powers (aid other, aid self, rez), but the concept is very cool and allows me to slot for more Recovery/Regen. Hmmmm Mids after work. Would be cools as a teaming dual build. Great idea.

Works especially well as with my Batman hommage.

Nin shouldnt have to worry about AoE as long as you have the ranges defense power running. Its got MAD AoE defense, as well as suppressed/unsupressed Hide. You are correct it is an AoE power, but his defense shoudl be fine. Could probably turn of Melee Def power.

I ran soem AE missions last night and used my rolls on ONLY lvl 10-14 Bronze and got Miracle + Recovery, a Steadfast KB Prot, and a Kismet KB Prot. A VERY lucky night I guess. Made about $250M in one sitting lol

you need thank much recharge on an SR. I'd frankenslot for End. If you wanted to you could throw a Rech/End Reduc in there. 2 birds w/ 1 stone.

I love my BS/DA Scrapper. Not as endurance heavy as WM, but close. As long as you are slotting ur attacks for End reduction you'll be fine. I would suggest that you dont go typed defense, instead go positional. Combat Jumping is one of my set mule powers I take on every toon I have. 3 slot the Blessing of the Zephyr (theres ur KB prot). You can also put the BotZ in recall friend. I would put either Touch of Death or Mako's in all of your ST attacks. You can probably just go for melee as most foes will run tino melee anyway. Dont forget that you can turn off Death Shroud when ur endo gets low, its VERY End heavy.

If you can get near 20-25% Melee defense, you shoudl be more than fine, especially given the stuns. you're gonna be doing so much AoE damage that you really shouldnt have to worry too much about survivablilty. Dont forgot that you also have the soft controls of KU and KD from ur attacks.

I had to shelve this idea for now as Im almost 2 yrs into this game and still dont have a 50. Ive promised myself to lvl my Stalker to 50 before I make another toon. This however is going to be the 1st one I make following that.

just an FYI, this setup allows mulitple uses of the Lockdown IO set (holds) which have GREAT bonueses and are relatively cheap. Nothing like have the procs go off on both the holds to mez a boss 1st try. lol

I always take the snipes. Usually helps fill out a ST Chain, opener agains single large targets, pulling, runners ect. I think its almost mandatory on an AR toon as there are only 3 ST attack in the set.
Also should note that Sniper IO sets have GREAT bonuses and are very cheap, especially given the usual dislike from most players.
I can definately see snipes being skipped on sets that already have a solid 3 attack ST chain, but if you dont have 3 ranged ST attacks, you may wanna consider the snipe.

I love my AR/Traps Corr. Once I got ignite and flamethrower I starter eating mobs up. Arch is very similar, so should be nice. 2 suggestions though

1) Do not take the grenade from AR - counter productive
2) Do not skip snap shot. Its a proc machine. Put the +heal, +hold, and 2 damage procs, add a couple of Acc/Rech/Dam and Acc/Rech/End and ur gonna love it.

Im gonna second the Stalker. There is nothing better than takign on a +3 boss and him not getting one hit in on me. BU + AS + Eagles Claw + Air Sup + CaK + Placate + AS + Eagles Claw = Deadness. MUAHAHA

Seriously try a stalker, you wont be disappointed.

Fun:
Headsplitter - So I get to take my massive glowing green tech sword and make a taco of their skull? Im in!

Placate - These are not the droids you are looking for. lol

Granite - Just looks friggin tough as hell. Go ahead shoot ur bullets, see what happens.

Rise of the Phoenix - yes you must be dead 1st but damn its cool looking.

Propel - Cant tell you how many times Ive almost fell outta my chair laughing at some of the crap that it throws out (toilets LMAO)

Not Fun -

All of the ranged attacks that have the same animations as buffs (one handed pushy thing) Just very unoriginal.

Snipes - I love snipes, but they get absolutely no love in this game at all. Rooted, slooooooooooooooooow animating and damage is heh for the most part. Should have a huge critical hit chance and percent and never miss, but thats another topic.

Shadow Maul/Sands of Mu - Having to wait for 5 secs swinging at nothing is not fun.

Midnight Grasp - Cmon BaBs, that's all the animations you have for a tier 9 attack?

Trains/Ferrys - ok while this isnt a power I HATE having to take out my bus/ferry pass to go to another zone...especially when I can Fly dammit. I hope one day we dont have the big blue walls. I'd pay for an expansion for just that.
