Build in this priority: Typed Def > Regen > Resis > Recov
If you can stack mitigation your character will be a lot tougher than just regeneration. WP doesn't deal well with burst damage unless it has a ton of enemies around it to buff its regen. -
I would love to see this but rather than another trial have it as a good old fashioned task force.
-
I've made cheap builds before but I didn't like them they were too limited lol. I am champagne kind of guy with a beer budget LOL.
-
Dark/Shield because there isn't a combination that comes close to have the ratio of damage output to survivability and because I am extremely biased but ignore the second part because the first part is true.

Quote:A character with only accuracy and procs slotted into as many powers as possible and name them the proctologist. So we all have some ideas we want to make, but don't have time/space/slots to do them justice.
So let's share them, let others make them. For great justice.
-A stone/stone character called Cityface. Literally a piece of the city come to life. He fights to clean up his city from crime, and birds.
-A street justice scrapper/SR who fights using a fight on wires system, an implant that sends his body into a state of sezuire when his adreline gets pumping, to allow for faster reflexes (stolen from shadowrun).
-A bright yellow smiley in a suit who only speaks in emoticons.
Anyone else got any concepts or ideas?
Love~ Lea the Spider Girl -
I don't like dbxp because I out level some great content, but I rarely if ever make a new character so its a wash lol.
-
You know what power used to be really cool? Energy Transfer, then it got bludgeoned to death with a nerf bat from hell.
-
How I feel when people complain about free content not being awesome enough.
-
I just need to figure out a way to mold it into my concept.
-
Quote:Unless you're going for concept, which it seems like, then I'd suggest not take shadow meld. How about something like this?

Quote:OMG THAT IS AWESOME!When respeccing, after selecting a power or placing slots, you can press "enter" to move to the next stage. For YEARS I had been moving the mouse and clicking "continue" instead. Respecs took forever.
Yeah.....lol -
Found some areas where I could increase my resistance and regeneration but I increased endurance usage and lowered my defense to right at the soft cap. That is the only real issue that I see but considering I have radial to help me with any times my defense is compromised and I can drop my ionic judgement as a crowd control I don't see it as a huge loss.

Recently after 8 years of playing I learned that if you clicked the first for F keys your character will eat an insp, yes that is truly sad but what are some features that the game offers that you had no idea about?

Quote:Without having a really good knowledge of what powers are keep-able and which ones to toss I can only really move around some slots.Actually this is my post ATO build. Enough native recharge w/o hasten to chain Shatter-Clobber-Pulverize-Jawbreaker on ST.
Has T4 Musc and T3 Reactive.
Edit: yeah, the problem is this ... just did a fast pylon test, rounding up a bunch of monkeys for AAO... still took me like 4.30 which is slow in today's incarnted i22 world. Granted this build isn't optimized with procs etc but that's because of how it was built to softcap shield. I'm open to suggestions.

Quote:It's a nice set, good damage, great animations, and good AoE. It isn't an outlier set nor is it an under performing set.Early Tuesday morning I spent my accumulated points to buy Staff Fighting then proceeded to make a Staff/SR Scrapper, and have found that I'm enjoying the combination more than any I've played in a long time. While I'm not wild about the sound effects, the animations and performance are great.
At level 23 I'm impressed with the set so far. With Form of the Soul I've been able to run Focused Fighting and Focused Senses while fighting non-stop with zero endurance problems, something most of my other /SR Scrappers have had to deal with from levels 1-20.
On a Positron TF, the versatility of Staff Mastery was nice: Soul for extra recovery vs. Clockwork, Mind for extra recharge vs. Vahzilok, Body for extra damage to kill the Circle Ruin Mages ASAP. I like having a power that I don't have to worry about slotting, as it frees up slots for when I eventually IO the build.
Overall I'm just having a lot of fun with Staff Fighting, and thought I'd say as much. -
Quote:I'm just saying, even when power creep exists, there's no really good reason to just barrel on into more power creep until eventually Titan Weapons ans Street Justics are just average.
I'd much rather they add power-sets into the game, shoot for average and then nerf or buff outliers as needed. It's not going to provide people with an endless cycle of FOTM powersets, but it's also not going to fall into a cycle of endless power creep either.Quote:To be honest, as long as I got to hit things with a stick while looking even vaguely like some of those kung fu demonstration forms I was going to be happy. -
No, now go back to your corner and pout.

Best advice? Have fun.

Quote:Because I like to eat my crab not play with it.crabs are arguably the best characters in CoX. They have mezz protection, good defenses and some resistance. They have good team buffs, some debuffs, and amazing AoE.
simply put: crabs are tank mages, in theory the holy grail of characters
in the old days they were restricted to redside. But now you can get to 20 and switch to blueside.
but there are very few crabs out there on either side.
so why are you not playing a crab SoA?
And have you tried one?
