The Sleep pulses that fast, that it doesn't matter.
  2. My Ill/Rad already had perma PA/Hasten/Metabolism, still I went with more recharge. It's just fun to alternate between Spectral Wounds and Fire Blast this quick.

I am in the same boat as you (OP). I just love /Rad and have a lot of Rad Chars so I forced myself to roll something else and went with Elec/TA. I am lvl 31 atm and loving every minute.

next up for customization is power pools and epic pools.
Not sure what I am doing wrong but I cannot customize the claws of my widow
  5. I went for even more recharge on my Ill/Rad (spiritual). She already had perma PA, and then we got inherent Fitness... and I was able to slot 2 more LoTG+Rech, but I love more recharge. EM Pulse is up that often, it's not even funny.

I would suggest that too. Plus on a perma PA Ill/Rad you don't need status protection.
  7. My perma PA Ill/Rad is one of my favourites, but I play pretty much anything though. And I noticed it changed over the years. When the game came out I played a blaster, then switched over to Defenders and then for a while I couldn't play anything else than controllers. I got a lot lvl 50 /Rad Trollers but now I am more melee oriented (Widow, Brutes, Scrappers).
  8. I ran a hero tip mission in Talos set to +1/x1 and got one.

Eh what? How does it take any time to "figure" out what SOs you need? You have to check your origin or what? ;p

Isn't it the same for all ATs? At least in my opinion Defender suck even more pre lvl 22 and SOs, especially when you have to solo them. I found Scrappers way easier.

  12. I am happy with the changes. Kudos to the devs.

I just makes me sad to read all the complains after we get what we waned.
    You just can't please everyone

Repulsing Torrent is a 45% cone that does 50 base damage, and it has an 80% chance of a 6.23 knockback. So it's not going hit everyone, and those it does it, it's going to knock really far back. RT is junk IMO. Maybe amusing to knock mobs off of tall buildings, but not worth much otherwise.
I know that, I got a Claws Scrapper. Since he said: "what kind of a melee character really wants a cone knockback?" I wanted to expess that I like my Shockwave

Do blue side only players even exist? I could not imagine playing only the half part of a game I love so much.
  15. My Plant/Earth plays more like some sort of Brute, I got all the melee attacks and I love it (Earth Assault has only 2 ranged attacks though and they aren't great anyway). With SoC and Creepers I don't even feel squishy at all.

Looking at the damage modifiers I wouldn't skip any melee powers on a Domi. Only if you really insist to play it like a blaster.
  16. Welcome to Cox. I can not contribute to the discussion but I am really impressed about how much you already know about the game when you just started out. Kudos to you and I wish we had more new players that are acutally interrested in basic game mechanics, let alone be as much informed as you are.
  17. If you really like melee I would suggest plant/earth... was the first and only Dom I could stick with.

    Spines...

I wouldn't compare Ripper to something like Crowd Control and Pendulum with their big Arcs though.
  19. Still can't find any pant patterns for females

No. You get 50 reward merits for your first Morality Mission. You can trade them and 20 Million Inf for 1 A-Merit Reward (if you want to). After this you get 1 A-Merit for every Morality Mission.

Or if I wanted to be completely controversial: How about Fulcrum Shift on Controllers?
Oh how about take containment away from Trollers? Honestly I think it was a mistake to give Controllers containment. Why does an AT that is primary Controll and secondary buff/debuff more damage than an AT that has a complete blaster set as a secondary? Controllers have a range modifier of 1.1 with containment and Defenders have one of 0.65. I say give Controllers the ability to have 2 pets out but take away containment.

Oh and before you kill me, this comes from someone that has several level 50 Controllers (and I don't like defenders much), but for the sake of balancing, it just does not seem right, like it is now.
  22. Thanks for all the work you did St0n3y.
  23. That's why I meant to use it after [Crowd Control] since then they are all on their backs and cannot move. If I remember correctly Cimerorans are KB resistant, right? So of course in your special case it won't work.

If used after Crowd Control it's pretty easy to hit multiple targets. At least that's what I do on my SD/WM tank followed by Whirling Mace.

I wish we had more customizable options, like Axe. We still don't have a Vanguard Mace, Rikti Mace or Roman Mace, if I am not mistaken.

Oh and it's Garthalus (thanks to his SD/WM guide) fault that I rolled my first tank and had a hell of fun taking her to 50
