AKA if a power of yours accepts standard common IOs for that ability (Combat Jumping taking Defense enhancements, for example) the Alpha boost will work as an enhancement for that power at the listed percent.
It will NOT affect other peoples powers affecting you or not. -

Can we please for all that is good and holy, please fix the emails that are being sent out? I have never received one of the announcement emails even though I don't have any spam filters set up, it doesn't come in the Spam folder and all the appropriate checkboxes are checked in my ncsoft login page.
Yet my friend used to get them all the time....This has been going on for...4+ years?

Once the offer is live, you cancel your sub, and choose the bonus option you want.
The next time your account renews, it will be with the bonus time offer. So my current sub is out in march - if I sign up for the offer, i'll get hit with the payment in march (exception to using paypal 1-time payment, IIRC). -

What really bugs me is, that you can't have multiple pets out anymore, but this was possible and I don't know when or why they changed it. I can't have my non combat Rikti pet, the Vanguard Pet and my blue wisp pet out at the same time.
Each pet pretty much puts up the same server load as a player. They put in the for those with a bunch of vanity pets like yourself, especially with more on the way. -
Others include contacts that are there for fed ex missions only.

I heard someone tried this recently and it was nerfed their toon arrived on the new server they had the name already taken on, with a 1 thrown onto the end and no free rename. So they had to move it back to the original server with the 2nd transfer AND buy a real rename token just to get the original back or select the new one. That's just stupid. If people are willing to burn transfers they don't want so they can use it as a rename instead then stop throwing the stupid transfers at us and give us real rename tokens.
right? Iirc you must do that to trigger the free rename.)

Locally the gamestop in the mall (and down the street from the mall, what is it, Starbucks? Although I guess I should check inf the one in the mall is still there) is alright (although they didn't pull off the "Mini-warehouse" look well at all, just feels cold) but then the staff is half/more from the Software Etc. still in the mall which has always been fairly good.
But I still prefer the Software Etc. -

Most "elements" have a theme in this game. Energy has KB. Negative Energy has -ToHit, Fire has extra damage, earth -Defesne, Cold Slows/-Recharge. In addition however, Dark and Cold/Ice have also always been more control-oriented than their kin. To me it's odd they are taking out Pet. I always saw it as a buff/debuff set, rather than a control-oriented set. To me, the mezzes were the things that were out of place.
While I can see where you're coming from, personally I would LOVE to have Dark Affinity available for other ATs as alternate version of Dark Miasma, because swapping out those two mez powers would be great to me.
... I do agree that blackhole's persistence as a power is kind of baffling, though.
Synapse, is there any chance you can tell us what you think Blackhole's actual PURPOSE is, as a power? Because to date, all of the purported purposes it has have been demonstrated to be not met by the power.
And Blackhole is kind of an "Oh Crap" power. Like MoG, or SoW and such.

Every mutlti-target power (small exceptions for powers like Blind which has single and multi-target componets) check each target.
For examples like Blind, which takes hold and sleep sets, hold procs would only hit the target, the sleep on the aoe if the sleep procs. -
Also, the recorded shows don't include the chat.

They were fixing something that could be used maliciously, possibly, and it broke storing those kinds of commands as binds
It is no longer possible on new binds. -

I always thought the issue with the raids wasn't as much they weren't aware of the player base but that they forgot they were still standing because they tried to not be a copypasta MMO. The players wanted something to do at max level so they put in game play mechanics from other popular games that have it. Maybe forgetting what makes you better for your players is the same as forgetting who your players are though.
