Quote:Most likely it does, using the same disable that walk does. So, a related question...
Does the Coyote power not turn off Supremacy? Being a detoggle/limited power thingy, I was assuming it would have cut off Supremacy (as though you were in an only Affecting Yourself state).
If not... that's the dog's biscuit!
However, MM pets aren't toggle,s or auto-powers (only pets affected/used to be affected are the now-toggle vanity pets) -
Quote:It'd be weird for Tomax to be different, considering how the data is collected.I did consider electric because it does get pretty good numbers for damage in game, but I don't know what Red Tomax has for them. It could be different.
I'm completely shocked that Rain of Fire has been that way forever. It obviously has, but it's shocking that they "haven't noticed" as corruptors have been "cheating" ever since.
It's definitely not hard to change, and I can see how they missed it given the fact that I didn't even see it myself until I was comparing the numbers of Rain of Fire directly to Ice Storm. -

Quote:Which can lead to fail.If you *do* have a character already on the target server, the procedure is to log into said character and use the /getglobalname command to see if it's already attached to a global
/getglobalname will not tell you if the name is on the "Not Allowed" list. So using the character create screen is better. That's why I said if you have no empty slots, it's good to ask a friend to try for you.
Unless someone can prove you can move a restricted name form one server to another and no lose it? (Not all names on the "Not Allowed" list are genericed when found - notably the character "Citadel" vs. the NPC - as the NPC was renamed and originally Bastion, the player got to keep his name.) -

Quote:Saying Brusing has a 100% proc rate is like saying on a succesful hit, Smite from Dark Melee has a 100% proc rate of Negative and smashing damage. The proc actually applies an autopower that makes the target debuff itself. That power is flagged "Doesn't stack from same caster", so no single target can ever get more than one debuff at a time.
There's two ways that this could be applied, though. One is like the shields from Force Field, Thermal, etc, where reapplying it extends the duration. The other is like the buff from the Force Feedback proc, where the effect prevents a second stack from applying.
In the former case, it's theoretically possible to keep the effect stacked permanently. In the latter, there must be small gaps, since the power has to wear off before it can be reapplied. I'm uncertain which method Achilles' Heel uses.
Note that the Fury of the Gladiator proc (PVP PBAoE set) and tanker's Bruising (secondary effect in tanker T1 attacks) function the same way as the AH proc, except that Bruising has a 100% proc rate. Each effect has a different name though, so you can stack up to one of each on a target. You can never have more than one of each though, no matter how many sources are applying the debuffs. -
Quote:have you played this since it went live?SPOILERS FOLLOW FOR DARK ASTORIA AND WHO WILL DIE
Okay, so, the Dark Astoria content mentions Statesman's death. So, clearly, it happens after SSA #5. However, we see Sister Psyche alive and well at the end of the storyline. Does this mean that everything in Dark Astoria happens in the gap of time between SSA #5 and SSA #6? Or does her presence spoil some coming resurrection in SSA #7?
Model swap isn't hard -
At the pizza parlor can't tell if "Why won't you price match Domino's ad" (or some similar quality of pizza) is my favorite, or the (possibly drugged) "Why do you need my Phone Number?" which wwas soon followed, on the same call for delivery, by "Why do you need my address?" >.>

Quote:http://www.baenebooks.com/Using an Ebook reader of some sort? Head over to... bah, don't have the url, Baenbooks or some such. They've got a library of free books. Eric Flint (and others) have this rather light historical-fiction-ish ... fi... series, 1632 (and 33, 34, etc.) - basically a W. Virginia coal mining town gets pulled up and plopped down in the middle of Europe in 1632. In the middle of the Thirty Years' War. (Well, *I* find it fairly light and interesting, at least.) There are also other works there of a few genres, from more sci fi to more fantasy (a few by Mercedes Lackey, as well.)
That's the main store (I like their store because of the bundles, individual books by Baen on there are usually no more than $6 even unbundled, and NO DRM!) - link to the collection of freebies (updated from time to time) is at the bottom of the Categories section; this is the same library Kat linked to above.
I like most of David Weber's sci-fi (Honor Harrington Series - which he placed the first two books, On Basilisk Station and Honor of the Queen - in the free section, Safehold series, Dahak series - the first being Mutineers Moon, also in the free section).
Also Mark L Van Name. Jon and Lobo series - Jon a survivor of a disaster that shut off a whole star system, and Lobo a rather unique "tank".

Also a freebook, liked it, has some sequels I keep meaning to get to. -
One thing about the name - I'm not sure if the system lets you keep a name that isn't in use because it's on the "Not Allowed" name list. So if you are unable to use the name-checker because you're full on the server and don't want to delete a character until you know the name is free, have someone else use it.
Also, if you don't then go and check another name, the system will hold that name in reserve for about 10 minutes, maybe more. -
More specifically, within 24 hours. Most I'v seen have them come in by 4 pacific if they subbed in the 8-2 pacific time bracket.

Quote:Were you the one who knew the lady upset because the grocery store wouldn't accept her best buy gift card as valid payment?Respectfully, that won't stop the willfully ignorant. You wouldn't believe some of the stories that I and others could tell you about people that refuse to read/ignore warnings and then blame the company/store for their stupidity.
I recall working CS for a major food company when a woman called up outraged that her son had an allergic reaction to a product she bought him. He had a peanut allergy and not only didn't his mother bother reading the ingredients, she blithely ignored the fact that the product had the word Peanut in the name. Nope it was the companies fault her son had to go to the hospital and she demanded the company pay for the medical bills.
The people that are willing to admit that they [pancaked] up are in the minority, or they are like Warkupo and don't bother CS at all. -
Also - 12 slots per server. With Freedom, they made the max slots per server 48, 36 of which you can earn/purchase.

If it wasn't, it would be mentioned in the power description

Other than the freebie, you have to spend money.
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Reward_Token
Basically - 1 token at the end of each month of subscription, 1 token for every 1200 purchased points (1200 points, not $ US - the bonus points count), and there are two 1-time bonus tokens you can get as well.
One for the first points purchase, one for adding a "retail box" code.
For box codes, places like Big Lots might have some boxes for sale cheap, and amazon, although do make sure they are "New" boxes, not used, as you cannot use the code inside twice. -
I use it (queue up) to join TFs and trials, I just run a mission or two first

Biggest thing is avoid Vigilance and Zunfunkt (sp) - those are non-English servers.
And once you pick a server, check out that server's forum here on the boards. They have a list of global channels for that server. -
Because boosters are a pay-for item, and apparently they can only allow or disallow to everyone.
-
Only timed despawn I can think of is Scrapyard.
Jack and Eocahi have the issue where if they are fighting each other when you find them, due to regen, you might not do enough damage to qualify for rewards. -

Got my brute to 50, and some other levels on my DOm.
Din't get to touch my almost-fifty warshade due to being the sap athat always gets called in to cover sick calls (management or other...>.> I don't get paid enough!) -

The reason why veteran status doesn't matter on the boards is the fact that, as far as the NCSoft system outside of City of Heroes itself is concerned, there are only Subs (VIPs) and "Free" accounts.
The distinction between "Free" and "Premium" is made only in game.
The forums have enough issues wihtout them trying to add some hack to tie into another hack they'd have to do to have the account system outside the game recognize the "Free vs. Prem" distinction.
Anyway, http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards and http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Reward_T...en_Acquisition for info on how to improve your standing in game. -
