Combined Enhancement Email???
Why can we not email combined enhancements to ourselves?
It does not allow me to email boosted enhancements. Is there a reason for this? Is this a bug? |
2. Correct.
3. See 1.
4. No.
Is it an unwanted gate you bet your sweet bippy.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.
Since this trait isn't specific to or new for enhancement boosters, I doubt it's an intentional feature of boosters. Combined enhancements have never been mailable or auctionable. Maybe it's a technical limitation they've never cared to solve. It's not a bug, but I'm not exactly sure it's a feature.
Because boosters are a pay-for item, and apparently they can only allow or disallow to everyone.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
That's a shame.
I used them on a character I now plan to delete. Was going to email the enhancements to myself.
Just wasted a lot of boosters and influence.
I appreciate the quick info.
Note that you can trade the enhancements, which will strip off the boosters. So if you can find someone to sell off-market to, or just a friend who can give them right back, you can transfer the IOs, although not the boosters.
It's far from an ideal solution, but better than just deleting a bunch of valuable IOs.

It will definitely be better than deleting them.
I appreciate the valuable info.

"My inner mind has become a reality-cracking overgod. He torments me! Help!"
It may not be the case, but the fact you cant move a boosted enhancer by any means certainly Looks like a Money Grabbing Scheme.
Note you could always buy MOAR Enhanment Trays. Does not help a delete situation. Also you can unslot via respec or unslotters and put on second build to store them hoping for a change. Again no help to OP since he is deleting, but just a thought.
Also the trick that the only way to strip boosters is via a trade is not well documented. That sucks, and has doubtless resulted in others deleting good stuff.
I give the Team a Simple Fail on this.

The effects of a Boost are character bound, like many other effects in the game whether earned in-game or bought.
Is the inability to pass off a Shivan Temp Power to another player a *Money Grabbing Scheme*?

I don't get back my Hallowe'en Salvage if I want to delete a character. Or my time, or XP, or whatever that I've put into them.
