Also, every so often (wanna say 1 week, but not sure), the average resets to the default of 5 minutes.
I don't pay any attention to the time myself, and now that you can run missions while in Queue you don't have to - just make sure you're not getting bounced from the Queue after mission completes.

The LFG is used plenty for Trials, but if there's not enough people on, it will never go, of course.
I doubt many people are using it for Task Forces, though - most people who do TFs are already used to recruiting a team in the various chat channels. Unless people get in the habit of logging on and setting their LFG before heading out to solo, it'll never catch on.
In other words....
People don't use the LFG for TFs because the wait is forever. And the wait is forever because not enough people use the LFG for TFs.
It's a catch-22.
I tried the LFG queue over double xp weeekend on Pinnacle,
I sat in that thing for hours with it set on first available Trial.
I also tried it for the weekly and no dice, it really needs work.
Then you go to Pocket D and there's 800 million people spamming
for trials.
It would work...
If players would start the trial without the maximum. DfB for instance, I routinely run it with the bare minimum and have no trouble at all, yet 10/10 times joining one instead of forming it, we have to wait for a full on 8 man team...
So, if you are waiting in the Q for DfB, if we start it with 6 players on our team, you'll be given the option to join. If we start it with max, you'll never get the option.
Since nobody starts trials without being max team size, the Q is largely useless.
5 minutes is the default wait, Pinnacles Q never changes from that 5.

The easiest way to get on Trials on Pinnacle is via the PinnBadges chat channel. It is excellent and pretty busy on most evenings or weekends. However on Double XP weekend no one wanted trials, they were running task forces to level up alts. The exceptional trial is Death From Below, which even on Pinnacle seem to form by milling around Ms. Liberty until someone starts recruiting.

LFG is a great idea. It needs serious tweaks before it will see heavy use.
The irony is that if people would just queue for trials instead of forming teams then queuing, the LFG would probably function exactly as intended. Anyway, it's probably not going to change anytime in the near future unless they change the number of team/league members that trigger a launch of trials. Or do something silly like prevent pre-formed teams of max trial size from actually queuing.

I use it (queue up) to join TFs and trials, I just run a mission or two first

Under the LFG tab on your chat screen there is a list of things to run. On the things to run next to each one depending on the tab there is something called "average wait time"
is this for real...
I have tried it several times on teh busiest server there is. Its not correct. And if its not correct on freedom and Virtue how could it possibly be correct on slower servers.
Or did i do something wrong is there a setting I am missing or something in options i cant find to join these?
Cause i tried to get on an eden and a strick force of the week to get a notice of the well. And it was 30 mins of street hunting and nothing... No message no warning, no adjustment to the wait time...
so is that "wait time" just completely made up and nothing to actually ever look at again?
