Ok I have reached Lvl 17 before have to call it a night and my first impressions are good mostly due to the fact that I like how /Electric looks
Its a little tough on the endurance bar so I really looking forward to hitting 18 tomorrow for Dark Consumption, which I think could be a game changer since my main barrier to surviving is staying toggled at this point.
So far for powers I have taken
DM
Shadow Punch
Smite
Siphon Life
ElA
Charged Armor
Lightning Field
Static Shield
Grounded
Fitness
Hurdle
Leaping
Combat Jumping -
Been thinking about this combination myself, so I just rolled one
I'll let you know how it goes.

Not everyone works with their lips

and don't forget that basic teleporters are placed with the add personal item button not in the edit base mode.
-
Always referred to it as the debt train, even when I am under lvl 10

I may just be wrong, and someone will correct me if I am, but I believe that procs do not fire if you exemp down to more than 3 levels below their level.
This is why the lower lvl procs are more valuable at the market -
I have a lvl 38 necro/dark and she just tears through stuff for the most part.
the best thing i did was bind a button with
petcom_pow grave goto aggressive
which sends my grave knights to a spot in aggro mode, then i just run in after them throwing down a tar patch, everyone else moves in and the zombie apocalypse begins -
HeeHee!

When I fight Carnies on +1/8 with my End Drain resistant SG mate I usually think of the spawns as a Crapload of Carnies
also
A Skeleton of Skulls
A Languish of Lost
A Farm of Freaks
A Heck of Hellions -
Though Plant/Storm is an AoE beast, the end drain is simply too much to make it a viable farming toon.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pan Demonium, my 50 plant/storm/psy. Seeds o Confusion to clump em, Roots to keep em, Carrion Creepers to scare the hell out of em, Freezing Rain to chill em out, Drop a tornado, then psychic tornado for some pink AoE damage and they are usually mostly dead. But, if they are still alive, I better hope to Jebus i have a couple blue skittles to pop or else I am gonna be standing there waiting for my end to build up for a lil while.
OTOH
I have Primal Forces Mastery on my second build and I DO use that to farm the Cim Wall. Since, if I target the last roman in a line with SoC and run up to the first, I can hit them all, then Energy Torrent will hit them all and the rest is gravy on a tasy roman biscuit. -
Well, Pan Demonium was not the first toon I made, but he wass the first to 50 and the only hero survivor of my first 2 weeks of toons, Zura of Zura being the villian.
I had previously rolled a storm/nrg defender, and being new to the game, was merrily pushing mobs all over the place and was being told that I was creating chaos and ruining everyones fun, well the melee toons fun anyway. So of course I deleted that toon and rolled one to celebrate the chaos of KB that is storm and found that Pan Demonium was available, thus my plant/storm troller was born.
Plus goat-legs are my favorite costume piece! -
I have a five button mouse which i love, for melee toons i always bind the button4 (right under my thumb) to follow.
Oddly for me different toons get different keybinds, though some are always the same
Everybody gets these:
n=powexec_name rest
i=info
button4=follow
x=travel power toggle, though with SJ and Fly it cycles through the various states
c=self heal
alt+c=heal other
o=oroborous
t=stealth power
all costumes are variations of the p button, alt+, ctl+ shift+
everything else is a bit more dependent on the powers and ATs
anyone with toggles gets a macro that turns them all on, in a particular sequence, with the last toggling any taunt or aggro auras
anyone with ground targeted click powers usually get those bound to alt or shift+ mouse buttons 4 and 5
Everything else is willy nilly -
What I most want is a 'squidy' tentacled head look
-
Since neither Emperor Cole clothes maker nor the tailors of the Resistance offer much in the way of pants that are comfortable for the goat-legged, I must put in my bid with the Pantless.
-
Pretty sure this is enabled to keep you from performing the initial steps of the Time Warp
-
Because an Arbor Day banner event could be so much cooler, plant X number of trees at each banner, then defeat the Global Warming aspect!
-
the att part of the bind is the same as "attack my target" so this will take them out of bg mode while they defeat the mob in question. A better bind would be (using necro as the example)
"petcom_all def$$petcom_pow grave att"
this would cause everyone to go to defensive BG mode and just have your tier 2s initiate the attack. everyone else will soon join in defending the lts but will remain in BG mode -
Quote:except there the discussion is about the gravity immob which does NOT have the -kb component, in gravity the holds have the -kbThis can not be stressed enough. I can not even count anymore how often I saw controllers and dominators ruin a tank pull or even wipe a team by throwing an AoE immob. Often with strange reasons.
For example, in one team I was playing "Kheldian tennis" with a team mate (we threw enemies back and forth with our Kheldian attacks) when the troller used not a hold, not a debuff, not anything remotely useful but his AoE immob and thus negated the knockback that was our main (one could say almost only) damage mitigation. The reason? "It is my best AoE damage." Did I mention that it was an earth troller? Not exactly the powerset of choice if you want damage.
But back to the wormhole question: Take it and learn to use it to the best effect possible! It is not as easy to use as a simple AoE hold or stun, but it is by far superiour to that miserable AoE hold and offers a lot of fun options to boot. -
This would be quite a nice change!
This has my seal of approval! -
My Plant/Storm/Mind controller, Pan Demonium, can be verrrry chaotic when he wants to be. Although, if he is feeling generous to a team he does have the immobs to hold em in placebut when is is solo things are just flying around in my two tornados, and my Carrion Creepers are slotted for knockback so thats just plain fun to watch, plus Seeds of Confusion has those that aren't knocked back running all over after those that are
