Been thinking about this combination myself, so I just rolled one 
I'll let you know how it goes.
As with most secondaries... DM, having a self heal in it's attack chain, is a very solid addition to /elec. With these 2 sets you'll have enough endurance recovery ability that you could drop the fitness pool at some point... which opens up other interesting options. I'd build for recharge to get energize and soul drain up as much as possible.

It was the buzzsaw build for brutes, but then they went and changed Dark. To me Dark feels better on a scrapper anyway. I got my Dark/elec brute up to 22 before the Dark changes happened, but I haven't really gone back to it. /elec at that time was far from impressive, so I kept getting distracted by better performing builds. With both sets getting changed, I think it will be a much smoother road, but, again, I haven't gone and really played around with the changes too much, nor do I have Energize.
Ok I have reached Lvl 17 before have to call it a night and my first impressions are good mostly due to the fact that I like how /Electric looks
Its a little tough on the endurance bar so I really looking forward to hitting 18 tomorrow for Dark Consumption, which I think could be a game changer since my main barrier to surviving is staying toggled at this point.

I do like running into large groups and being able to pound away w/o faceplanting though! ...
Just curious.. anyone done this combo? I searched forums a lil bit, but couldn't really find anything.. how does it play, etc. I want to play Dark/ but the st dmg is little intimidating to me; although it still looks awfully fun... (I don't like big huge groups/farming, anyway..I have a fire/kin for that!)
I played my friend's dark/elec brute and had a blast!
