Quote:make it twoI am reading a lot in the forums about how people do not like this storyline or the continuity doesn't make sense because this contact shouldn't have knowledge of this or what not.
When I play, I just "go with it" and enjoy. Often, I am not even aware of the storyline, just the objectives. Am i riding solo here?
Please don't think I am asking others to feel like I do. I say enjoy the story, get frustrated at inconsistencies, whatever. All I am saying is that I am not there. -

Praetorian Labs and Longbow Bases need to be looked at too. They are laggy as hell as well, although somewhat less than new warehouses.

Quote:It doesn't matter in which neighborhood you were at the moment of a kill. And for Croatoa especially, those boundaries *are wrong.* I've done precisely what the OP said, had it announced I was in the Misty Wood, looked like I was in the boundaries - and had them not count, without it telling me I was in the "wrong" neighborhood.
(I tend to take Misty Wood hunts out to one of the islands now. Only way to be sure.)
Enemy itself should be in correct neighborhood to count as a kill. -
Quote:Add there huge lag during 1st and 2nd missions of Kahn. That lag was introduced with i18 release IIRC.Well I am kind of counting on it to help players. It seems like the only time any real pressing issues around that get fixed are the ones that benefit players. So in a sense if this gets exploited they will have to address it sooner rather than say 5 years from now. Its sad that we still have insane lag in the ITF and crazy missing map parts on the last mission of the LGTF, oh but let there be an exploit that gets fixed the same day.

I'm having page loading issues last 3-4 days too.

After participating in numerous Lambda and BAF trials, it seems, there is always that slow 16th or 24th player who is holding the League during queuing into trial.
I'm suggesting to make this player's name known to the League, so the rest could mock them and abuse during the trial.

Quote:Happened to me few weeks ago on both Apex and Tin.The problem is described somewhere not everyone may have forum access to.
If the team leader runs a TF that has foes fixed at L54 with their difficuluty settings on anything but +0 levels, the shards do not drop.
This happened to me last night. I was the team leader. I did not adjust my difficulty settings because I knew they would not matter on the Tin Mage TF. I can confirm this actually happened and just wasn't me missing the message, because support actually awarded my character the shards.
A patch is in the pipeline.
Petitioned. Got 4 shards back few days later. -
Quote:We've done CoT under 4 minutesI've seen a lot lately that quicker is better when it comes to Task Forces and Trials, but I'll like to throw in a counter point. I'm not saying I enjoy 12 hour slog-fests, but five minute Task Forces are just as bad in my opinion.
OK, so there hasn't been any TF as short as five minutes, but the Original Katie skirted pretty close. Actually, the Cathedral of Pain is a bigger offender in my eyes, given that you only fight two spawns. One with the thing you're supposed to destroy, and then BAM there's the Aspect of Rularuu, no story, no build-up, nothing but get your Item and get out.
The above is just my opinion, but I feel the need to get it out there to make sure the devs know that quicker may generally be better, but there is a limit.

but I think it can be done under 3 minutes -
I had all trays wiped clean on the level 50 character that was inactive only 2 days.
It has inherent fitness btw. -
While Citadel is the most boring TF of the game in my book, Justin Augustine comes as close 2nd (even it is the fastest of all shard TFs).

HAHA. ^This.
My goal is to run at least one speed LGTF daily.
Last night I ran 2. Unfortunately, an invasion from first LGTF was spawned in Mercy
I cannot forget Numina TF run during Halloween event, when Zombie Invasions were introduced.
Normally ran 40 min Numina, turned out to be almost 3 hours exercise in frustration due to non-stop multi zone Zombie Invasions.
Since then, I have self-imposed moratorium on Numina TF during Halloween and Rikti Invasion events. -
Quote:Wat?For the record, we run our STF's in 6 minutes off the ITF times shown here 0 deaths

Quote:Did you mean alpha unlocked but not slotted? I don't think you can start Apex if someone on team has no alpha slot unlocked. We managed an MoATF with a very poorly composed team. Three scrappers (one of which had no alpha slot), three tanks, one controller, and one mastermind (whose internet was such that his uptime was all of five minutes). We still showed Battle Maiden what for. Honestly, that fight was nowhere near as terrifying as I had imagined. And I was quite happily going toe to toe with several War Works.

I just hope that devs took the lesson from Kahn/Cuda and made new TF and SF more or less equivalent effort wise.

Quote:On our countless runs before green mitos change, we would leave blue mitos for very end (after hami killed), almost always rikti would take down 2-3 blues, while we were busy with other things.Okay Chaos first of all I have seen this tactic used countless times and I have NEVER seen the Rikti survive long enough to even damage a single Mitos let alone kill one .. Not saying it isn't possible but highly unlikely. Pulling the Rikti into the goo does only one thing.. Gets them all killed quick so the team can move on to the Mitos. In short its a SPEED RUN Tactic to move things along faster.
On multiple occasions, back then and now, rikti chief slodiers will take down yellow mitos to 10-20% of HP.
And the most important thing, rikti are taking mitos aggro off players. -
I saw this behavior on every mission with Legacy Chain.

Quote:Have you tried yourself defeat Hamidon with pylons still up? Or you just made it up?The Pylons as I understand it are merely objectives, I tend to dive in and clear the Yellow Mito's while the Pylons are still up. Hamidon can still attack while the pylons are active and defeating Hamidon with or without a Pylon up are exactly the same.
As far as I understand, pylons make hami untouchable.
I'm might be wrong though, but of hundreds times I've been on LGTF, I've never seen Hami taken down before pylons.
On another hand, before Castle made ill-informed change to green mitos, we usually killed things in the following order: yellows, greens, pylons, hami and at very last blues. -
Grant Invisiblity from empowerment station and Midnight Visage temp power don't suppress even when you clicking glowies. Also Midnight Visage is acessible during MO runs.

Quote:It does have practical advantage in few cases.Having stealth that doesn't suppress when in combat does not really have any practical advantage. Once critters are aware of your presence, no amount of stealth will help you avoid getting attacked.
For example, I can stand right next to arachnos while destroying cables during 1st mission of STF and they wouldn't even blink.
