I figured it'd be more like the Redside Arc plays out.

The 1st tier clones are incomplete or failed copies, resulting in a mix of powers that don't follow the MM's.

2nd Tier clones could be Replicants with toned down version of the MM's powers (Secondary)

3rd Tier would be a perfect Clone. Only without the ability to clone. Can't have copies making copies.

Just how I'd imagine it though.

A huge difference in CoX vs WoW is that over here it's all about the journey to 50. Instead of the mad dash to the cap. Take you time, enjoy the sights, roll up some alts! Not much action PvP wise though. Be on the lookout for Incarnate information, as this is the new endgame coming with the next free issue.

Way back when I 1st started playing, a great guy by the name Temp_Extremes gifted me about 20,000 influence, just cause he liked my costume. This was a great deal back then (long long before we had inventions or a market) I never could've afforded DO's without it!

Every since then I've enjoyed being on the other end. Since I don't bother with Sets I've got millions to spare.

While it is obvious that the communication with us has recently become a great deal stricter, this might have more to do with legal issues than at 1st appears. For all we know there is some internal conflict and BaB's has requested a hush hush.

If that is the case then removing Jay's post was 100% understandable.

Also, the recent slamming in court that NCSoft recieved may be playing a bigger role in why this new policy is being held onto for dear life. It very well could result in the closure of the game we all love, if they had to deal with another one.

While I wish things could still be as open as they used to be when it comes to Dev coming and going, I respect that there are bigger things at stake here.

Once I started thinking about it in depth. We've never really been informed formally when a Developer leaves, except for Jack. We are however informed when OCR has a changing of the guard, as they are they ones directly in contact with us.

One of the things that I always liked about Lois and Clark: The new adventures of Superman was how Clark didn't go straight from Smallville to Metropolis. He wound up there after having travelled the world writing stories for small papers like the Borneo Gazette.

This gave Clark a better sense of the world and his place in it. It was Metropolis, and it's large population, that gave him the idea to use a costume to conceal his indentity. As he'd been able to use his powers here and there without much fear of being recognized but the 1st time he uses them in Metropolis he realizes he's being stared at by passer-bys.

Thus the suit is fasioned by Martha using material from his ship. Mainly his baby blanket.


That said. Sounds like a horrible plot for a movie. We've been force fed his origin story how many times now? I'd much rather it jump straight in like Captain Foamerang said. Maybe not so far in that they are married but atleast have him established in the city with some meta's to fight.

For some reason, I now have a long long forgotten melody running through my head and I need some help IDing the original.

In my head it's a song but the words are replaced with

I still recall the days of limited respecs. When the Dev's weren't even sure they wanted us to have the ability so they created the Trial.

The only reason we even got respecs for free was changes to powers making certain builds obsolete. Even then they were only handed out once right after the changes went live.

Slowly this stance changed and once the respec recipe was available it became expected that we would get a free one with each issue.

Of course, I have so many Vetspecs at this point I stopped paying attention to it long ago.
I personally don't see the problem in removing the 10 enh cap now. Though this stance might be harder to change than the other.
With Glemail and the markets and all, it really wouldn't be game breaking as far as I can tell.
