IDW - bravo... bravo indeed.

Okay, as someone who hasn't read any of Zombies vs. Robots... would anybody care to explain to me how zombies could possibly be the least bit threatening to the Transformers?

Now Black Lantern Transformers, that would be different.

This.

Same goes for Star Trek. If it's on a planet you just don't beam down to the planet. If it's on a ship you initiate the self destruct. If it's on another ship you fire photon torpedoes.

But Forbin, what do you do if it's at Starfleet academy? Or Earth?
Who ya gonna call?

EDIT: Aren't the Borg the zombie equivalent in Trek?

Yeah, pretty much. Now that would be an interesting story, Transformers vs. Borg.

Simple. Set the ships speed to warp factor 9 and crash into the Earth. That should be more than fast enough to destroy everything on the planet.

Earthlings have established more than enough colonies in the STO universe to keep the human race from extinction.

I wonder what manufactured problem they will come up with to stop Mccoy from using the transporters to isolate the infection. Zombies are really starting to wear out their welcome like vampires already have. Meh.

Way to many alts.

It's not the vampire part that's worn out it's welcome it's the tragic fuzzy emo image that's been shoved down our throats that's making everyone sick to their collective stomachs.

This is false.

In my opinion, zombies never had a welcome. (Seriously, I don't care for zombie stories; in my view, they're almost inevitably downers set up to make the target audience feel special by identifying with the characters who "understand the threat.")

Omg.......

Ok....granted the Transformers are "alive" as it were, but just HOW does a Zombie virus affect them? I can't even see it bringing back the deactivated/dead TF's........

Zombies in Star Trek.....meh Kirk will use his oratory prowess to give a rousing speech and his patented double axe-handed attack.

GI Joe.....meh, Cobra has raised the dead. Incinerate the zombies!

Ghostbusters: ok this group I can see dealing with zombies more then Star Trek, GI Joe and TF.....

Man this whole concept just reeks of STUPID.

worst trek episode ever!!!

The Federation still has to act the Federation in your example. You have them acting like the mirror universe federation.

Where did I ever say the ships I'm talking about belonged to the Federation? There are plenty of races that wouldn't lose any sleep over blowing up the Earth.

Klingons
Romulans
Borg
Nausicans
Tholians
Gorn
Dominion
Cardassians
Breen
Ferengi

Earth sucks.

Agreed. I was rather disappointed by the lack of aliens in Star Trek. It seems like 90% of Starfleet is human. STO on the other hand has too many alien races

Although, I guess Zombies could work for Transformers depending on the type. If it is magical, then all reason doesn't work, but regular biological infection won't work. The Borg has the better chance of infecting Transformers.

The possibility of doing a true multiverse crossover is hard to do based on copyright laws. Theoretically, you could have Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Glee appearing in the same story. Would be an interesting episode to watch.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

At the end, Cobra's going to take the Starship Enterprise, Optimus Prime and the Ghostbusters car to create a giant mecha robot ala Megas XLR to fight all the zombies who've joined hands to create a giant zombie.

The film adaptation will be out in 2013, directed by Michael Bay.

As long as the episode isn't dedicated to Britney Spears music. Although a dramatic reading of Britney's lyrics by Kirk would be almost as funny as Christopher Walken reading Lady Gaga lyrics.

Kirk - "Oops! . . . I . . . diditagain."

The only way this could be more epic is if they added X-Men, Justice League, Godzilla, and the entire cast of the classic novel, "Heidi!"

Ahdunno, zombie Transformers?

Unlike Kirkman who sent logic screaming out the window for the Marvel Zombies series, I have a little more faith in Abnet and Lanning. The story is so utterly left field it just might be the most awesome comic ever released in January 2011.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

good luck D.B.B.

Oh yeah I can just see the awesome now.

Optimus Prime slowly staggering down the street moaning "Sparkplugs . . . Sparkplugs"
