  1. As was mentioned FF works well with Ninja. Use mine to tank and with the changes to the application of shields it's not as much of a headache as it used to be.

As for Necro my favorite MM out of the ones I've made over the years is my Necro/Storm. -to hit work from the pets and the -to hit from hurricane is a fun combo. Performs well on teams but I like playing solo more just so I can really cut loose. I'm guessing /Traps would work well as well. Detonator seems to be tailor made for Soul Extraction. Just rolled one but haven't gotten high enough to see it in action.
  2. Bishop is the same way. He has to get shot for us to see his powers. Wolverine and Bishop always annoyed me because of that. Your told how great a fighter Wolverine is, but the majority of his fights consist of him getting stabbed/shot until his opponent slips up so Wolverine can cut them. Bishop on the other hand is like a magnet for guns/energy blasts. Most heroes go full runs without getting shot, but Bishop gets capped every issue, multiple times.
  3. The commercials I saw for this movie made me lose what little interest I had in it. Looked like a nauseating feel good family movie, like Free Willy with robots or something. Misleading marketing? Or is it really supposed to be a corny family movie?

How does that help out someone who wants a toon on the VIP server. Unless your suggesting he make the toon on another server then transfer to Exalted.
  5. I absolutely hated depowered Storm. Having a powerless Storm own Cyclops who was supposed to be the X-men's top strategist was bad enough, but she went on a tear and seemed to do better without her powers. There was one issue where she took out a horde of demons armed with a knife. After reading that I was done with the character.

Claremont did a similar thing with a depowered Rogue. A powerless Rogue gets into a throw down with a cheap Whirlwind clone and wins. How did she win, you might ask. By stating "I'm an X-men, we do the impossible." and then then punching the character out while she was trapped in a whirlwind. Claremont.... that guy...
  6. My idea for the name was a silver age, inspirational champion of the people kind of toon. Going the silver robot lady would have been a nice nod to the movie.
  7. No matter the game or the server there will always be people that are going to be rude or contrary to others. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I'm enjoying the community so far, although I've been running solo more while I level up my toons. But I still like to keep most of the more popular channels open.
  8. Some of the ones I was pleased to get.

Masquerade, Illusion troller, I know so predicable.

    Tribunal, Warshade

    Smash, Brute of course.

    Civil Liberty

    Liberty Bow

    Metropolitan

    Burning Man, Fire Brute

Red Army, Soviet inspired Cap type character.

    Tomorrow Man

    Clockwise

Bard, Demon/Sonic MM who sold his soul for rock and roll.

    Mocker

    Tragedy, Emo SoA for laughs.

    Burden

    Horrorshow

    Crimson Phantom

    Heroslayer

Out of the list I made beforehand, Toxin was the only one I missed. But I was pretty certain that I was going to miss out on that anyways, so no big deal.
  9. Also it also depends on the writer. Power levels fluctuate depending on the story. I remember a What IF where he was surrounded by a angry mob armed with clubs and pitchforks that beat him to death.

    Changes to EA

Do the new changes make up for the psi hole in the set? /EA is the one Brute set I haven't tried. I Had a En/EA Stalker that I gave up on. I want to try out a /EA brute but I'm worried about how it will play once I start running into Carnies.
  11. Ok, who thought it was a good idea to put ED-209 in a Batman movie?
  12. First thing that popped into my mind was Woody Allens Bananas. Someone slap a fake beard on that kid.

    Priest

What really annoyed me about this movie is that the humans who have been at war with Vampires for hundreds or thousands of years live in a city that the sun cannot reach. To be honest there where a lot of things that bugged me about the movie but that was the thing that really got to me.
  14. Are they still making the digital price point the same as print for the first month of release? I'm a bit conflicted. On the one hand I want to see digital sales bomb because of the lack of a competitive price for those who just want to read the stories and own a digital copy. And on the other hand I want digital comics to succeed and show that there is a market for it.

As for the reboot I have similar feelings. I want it to bomb for ditching continuity and dumping us with some 90's rejects. But if it does it might be the end of DC as we know. I had know interest in DC until a few years ago when Joe Q started running Marvel into the ground. And it would kind of suck if Joe Q's Marvel was the only game in town.
  15. Yeah, after reading it a second time I guess it's just supposed to be a tourney for favorites of mensa members. Not necessarily a battle of minds.
  16. I'm confused by the list. Why are characters like Wolverine, Han Solo, Blade, Ghost Rider, ect even on the list? Charlotte? Most dimwitted humans are capable of writing human language, which was her claim to fame. Unless your talking about spider mensa. I'm looking at it as pure brainpower. Harry Potter made the list but throughout the course of the books, Harry Potter is bloody thick. Come to think of it I can't think of anytime where he shows any real intelligence. Don't mean to be a downer but it's hard to vote when I find myself questioning the participants.
  17. I wonder what manufactured problem they will come up with to stop Mccoy from using the transporters to isolate the infection. Zombies are really starting to wear out their welcome like vampires already have. Meh.

The Wayne family must have some equestrian horses and the bust is one of their prize horses.
  19. Found it. It was a Wildstrom comic called The Intimates. Turns out it was only a mini, I always thought that it was an ongoing that got canceled. I remember it being a fun read.

The character I was thinking of was called Dead Kid Fred.
  20. Don't know the answer, but going to take the oppurtunity to ask a question that has been bugging me for a while.

In early 2000's there was a comic about a superhero high school. One of the characters was a undead/zombie kid. The character was suicidal due to being a walking corpse. Does anyone remember what the name of this title was, it was by some independent company. It was like that family movie Sky high except with adult themes.
  21. Marvels response seems kind of lackluster. Price drop on new titles, no real mention on current titles. It's good to see Marvel acknowledge the market for digital comics.

I never followed FF that closely, but I think what's that all involved.
No, it was a few months ago. Pretty forgettable story written by Miller.

Edit: Clyde Wyncham, the worlds first mutant and creator of the Marvelverse.

This is what I was thinking about. He was our worlds first mutant who had reality altering powers. And responsible for the creation of the comic universe.
  23. I think there was a FF story that dealt with something like this. And I hated it. It was the worlds most powerful mutant from another reality who was in a coma creating the multiverse. And then a future self comes back to the past to kill himself. In the process he starts wiping out other alternate realities and using the heroes of those other realities as pawns to help fight the FF and kill his past self.
  24. Nice.

Heh, I'm listening to Perts solo while watching Picard banging away on your pic. Trippy.

    True Grit 2010

I could never take John Wayne seriously. All I ever saw was a pudgy doughboy. That sir, is no pudgy doughboy.
