Here is the build I originally made for this combo, I made a new on with more resistance, but no longer def capped by doing that. This build does have S/L/E capped low end, and huge recharge, but as always could be better at cost of other stuff lol

I should have explained what I was doing, and what my goals were when I made the posting.
I went with the S/L armor since i couldnt get melee capped, so since most melee is S/L i capped them, and then focused on ranged, and AOE in attempt to soft cap defenses.
My Goal is to soft cap, or close if it can't be done because of other needs.
Have little to no END issues, it is ok to have some if Alpha or another i-ability will take care of it at 50
Recharge where it should be
Slotting for best results if it cost me some defense it's ok

Although I din't know @Chowder as well as some, and knew him better then others. I will say that it was a sad day when the news came out of his passing. I know how well he was liked, and how it affected so many in this virtual escape we call COH. I can not even begain to say how sorry I am for the people who knew him personally.

Thanks for the advice. as for spring attack i added that because it doesnt take you out of hide. This way i had a second mini-LR while the regular LR was recharging. thanks again. hopefully i will get a few more opinions, and i can mash them all togather and make a great first stalker.

Hello forums,
I have 3 different primaries with Ice armor. I haven't tried Ice before, and heard it was good. I am having difficulty deciding which primary to go with. I have made 3 different builds, and my goal is to have soft capped defense, and perma hasten. this will give me true perma hoarfrost. I would appreciate any insight on any of the builds, also if im should go with a different primary let me know. I have gotten close to perma hasten, but not quite without spiritual alpha.

you build looks solid, just 1 quick thing i see which is not a big deal, but thought i would share. In manuvers you slotted LOTG defense. I would just slot an lv50 defense IO you get the same numbers but not have the huge cost of the LOTG unless of course it was the global recharge LOTG. Like i said not a big deal just saving some Inf for ya.

Here is my Widow build my defenses are a bit higher, and my end use is much lower. I still have perma mind link, and i also have a self heal in the build for the just in case moments. You can use this build as is, or change the level in which you pick the powers, but feel free to use it as a guide if you wish, and good luck. Ohh by the way no purples in the build either.

Here is my current build, and she is a beast. It is similar to some posted here, but I did not have to use brawl, or boxing as a mule to get my set bonuses. Not that anything is wrong with that, I have had to do that before, but always try not to ie last resort. I like this build because I have soft-cap in everything positional including Psi. My end cost is not bad at all, my accuracy is good, and my S/L and Psi resistances are very good as well. Pop in Vigor and my end cost goes down, my accuracy goes up, and my regen goes up.....cant argue with that well I cant anyway.

Thanks for the feedback every1. I have been playing for quite awhile, but just started doing blueside, so this is why i was asking for some help. wasnt sure how the powersets play out; a brute is not a tank and visa versa lol. I combined Hypers build with my build, and I believe I have something that I will be happy with, and look forward to slotting out. Thanks again for feedback, and sugestions

Here is another build you can look at or use if you like. The type defenses are all soft capped including Psi S/L resistance is good over 75%. Recovery, and regen also are both good. Hope this helps.

Ok so I made a new tank, I never did invuln before so thought i'd try it out with the new staff set. My numbers are pretty good, Defenses are almost all capped, and S/L Resist is a little over cap. What i want to know is can the numbers get any better? What I would like to do is get my DDR up more, but is it possible i have it at 50% can it get better?

I as a tier 9 VIP whom already has Celestial armor set and the Fire/Ice set am glad to be getting a new shiney, and if they make the old sets available now after we VIP's already had it for so long ehhh no big deal. It's just like the phone commercial oh thats so 37 seconds ago or in this case thats so 12 months ago.
Dont worry tho you and I VIP's I assure you COH will get more money for those (old Sets) somehow someway.
The one thing that is for sure is that they are in buisness to make money, and thats what they are gonna do.. otherwise those people who complain about why this, and why that, and only us VIP's should get this will be the same ones saying Remember when there was this game called COH; i wish they woulda sold more costume sets, or powersets, and then we would still have a fun game to play.
Just remember WE got it first the VIP's. We got to show it off first, we got to make our costumes and parade around first. Sometime if the future they will get to go around like the cool kids and show their costume concepts with the (Old Sets) good for them, but we get to show off the (New Sets) first again! -
Here is my take on the build. Softcapped defense, nice recharge, very good control. My tricks are I always try to get a pet on a non melee type ie in this case the spider and slot it with BM. It is a cheap set, and hard to pass up almost 4% ranged and AOE defense on one power. Same with holds slotting Lockdown for the same reason range and AOE defense.
Went with Intuition it just makes sense it boosts my holds, slows, defense, and to hit debuffs, and increases my damage.
Ageless for the +end +rech and +recovery
Ion cause why not more chances for hold
Reactive cause more -res and now i can do some fire damage as well

Here is my build. I added self heal, and am over 65% defense. I have perma mind link, NO purples. This is a much cheaper build then the one you are using, and a higher defense. At same level soft cap is 45% at +1 50% at +2 it's 55% +3 is 60% and +4 is 65% so this build is soft capped for trials as well. Hope you like it, and have fun.

I am having fun with my Beam/Time Corr. I agree with the re-draw, but i had the same issue with my AR/Kin however its a beast. You cant always get a Corr to over soft cap, and this combo you can do it(and pretty cheap to cap out and NO purples). The build i have is over 50% defense. This is a good combo, if you dont mind the redraw, and has great defense potential, as well as low end drain.
