For soloing, I'm thinking that the heavy -regen of Longbow pets will complement T3/T4 Interface: Degenerative (i.e., -MaxHP as well as Toxic DoT) very nicely.
-
I put 3 SupATOs in Sweeping Cross and 3 in Shin Breaker.
The Crit ATO is among the 3 in Sweeping Cross which is up under 3 secs.
I know it unloads the combo bonus, which is usually better leveraged via Spinning Strike, but I wanted the double hp and defense bonus. -
Quote:That's an excellent bit of info. Thanks!Diamagnetic -regen is pretty laughable, you'll get better results from Degenerative. You'll have better -regen, toxic DoT, and overall have to do less damage from -MaxHp (4000 hp on pylon).
One pretty big bummer about -MaxHP is AVs on trials. If you use an analyzer (You can use temps against Diabolique) you'll see that they have a very low base MaxHP but have a HUGE MaxHP buff called Scaling. I'm assuming this buff is based off how many people overall in the league. What this means is that Degen affects base HP so the effect is very minimal since the bulk of HP comes from Scaling. Still, everyone runs reactive so you're still getting the toxic dot effect from Degen that no one uses.
Just got my +3 level on this toon, so I'll focusing on putting all of my iDrops into building my T4 Degen over the next several days. -
Quote:The Degenerative -Max HP debuff works strangely - against AVs, it doesn't do a percentage of HP, it always does exactly -150 HP. With a full 4 stacks, I believe it works out to being worth something like 2 DPS.
Realistically, due to the way AVs resist -regen debuffs and such, I'm pretty sure Degenerative wins NOT because of the -Max HP, but because of the toxic DoT which is unlikely to be resisted.
Unfortunately, I don't know enough about exactly how AV regen is calculated to actually do the math.Quote:That changed with i22 it does -1000 max hp debuff on AV's now which is roughly %3 (give or take .25) of AV's max Health
Fire wins out on iTrials (http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=286689) since most AVs there don't resist fire at all...surprisingly enough. A few less don't resist toxic either. However, Antimatter and AoH each resists 80% of toxic. Then again, iTrials = guaranteed stack cap for Reactives.
So I guess it's conceptually reasonable for a Captain America clone to have her gloves and shield coated with toxins. -
Quote:Hi. Searched you and saw your post in the "Interface Quandary" thread.AV's resist to -regen I am not sure how much it drops but usually AV's have %89 regen resist.
I would go with degenerative since there is no resist to -max HP and it roughly works like a resist debuff and it also lowers regen by same margin (which is at least %3)
From the discussion there and your DPS test vs. a pylon: Degen's T4 radial > Reactive's T4 radial, which is good, and I could definitely live with that no matter what degree of Lore -regen I'm getting.
And if I understand the discussion in another thread, the recent change to Interface: Degenerative, gives it a flat -3.5% MaxHP for all enemy classes. So I think I'm good overall. -
I'd like to move away from Interface:Reactive once and for all, with a natural (female Captain America clone; StJ/SD) toon that wants to be an AV defeater once she's all T3/T4'd out.
Warworks and Longbow seem like the only conceptually fitting Lore pets for her, and I went with Warworks (prototypes on loan from Stark Industries).
So with a so-so amount of -regen coming from my Lore (ACU's energy guns) ...which complement would give me the better result?
1.) Adding on more -regen (via Interface: Diamagnetic; let's assume the T3's 100% proc) or,
2.) Adding on -Max HP (via Interface: Degenerative; let's assume the T4's 25% proc with the 75% toxic DoT adder)
Does anyone have any experience with the -regen/-MaxHP combo?
How are the results?
Can any math pros calculate what the results should be?
Thanks! -
For me...
- Tier 3 Alpha
- Tier 3 Interface
- Tier 1 Judgment
- Tier 3 Destiny
- Tier 4 Interface

The market still has some swaying to do. Folks loaded with iMerits and Hero merits have yet to make an impact on the supply side.
Also, and I have no proof...but I think that many folks bought enough "cheap" purple recipes for a handful of their own toons. They will evenutally convert these recipes to diverse sets that they will keep and slot rather than sell on the market. -
In other news...since folks were still willing to purchase purple and pvp recipes at pre-converter costs last night, I helped them fulfill their dreams.
-
The converter RNG was pretty good to me last night. Did a quick check this morning and 23-25Bil looks to be my tally across my accounts.
Grabbed some additional PVP supply for cheap to be ready for the rebound. Will be using vet tokens as well to get more SPs/reward merits.
Fun times! -
I'm sitting on several thousand reward merits, but like most, I'm also at work. However, if the outcome behind this "suspicious quality control" is that the market values crash (for some time frame) then I'm okay with that. I'll either convert to slot, convert to sell and/or convert to store.

Quote:Why does every thread about converters devolve into discussion about Staff fighting?
This is the market forum. We're here for your converters. Hand over a patch, or this kitten gets it.Quote:Kill the kitten to show them we are serious. If we will kill the kitten they better know to not make us escalate.Quote:I agree. We better go get some kittens.
I want my converters(and Inf to be had) nao!
I mean you all no harm...

More time to buy up supply!

BlahBlahBlah...is it Tuesday night yet?!
-
Piles of merits (via SPs mostly), oodles of ATOs (100s of low bids since their debut), bins of KCombat KB procs, Miracle cheapies, Gambler cheapies, PvP cheapies, and stacks of purple Sleeps (acquired back when they were dirt cheap)...I'm ready for whichever way the wind blows.

Pics of the Dynasty please, someone. I'm very intrigued!

Quote:Completely agree. These days, I value my time waaaay more than my money. I'll be buying 24-packs for some time.- MERITS , not hundreds, TOUSANDS of Merits points! ( And this really was the selling point for me )
In the end, the SuperPacks gave me 153x25 Merits ( 3825 Merits ). To me, that is priceless. I calculated how much Merits i can get per hour and how much time to get to 3825 and that represents LOT of time.
3825 Merits. That means 191 Rare recipe rolls or 191 TF completed before the Merit Vendor existed.
3825 Merits gained in 5 minutes for less than 60$. I only bought 3x24 Super PAcks so far.
Let's assume a TF duration is about 1 hour in the "best case" for a Reward of 20 Merits. Then i basically got 191 hours of playtime worth in 5 minutes. -
I very much like Super Packs. I traded points on each of my 3 accounts to get a 24 pack on each, and I will trade points for more SPs next week and the week after that.
So far I have gotten tremendous value from the 34 packs that I've flipped so far. And from that value, I will create more value by leveraging the many boosters, catalysts, ATOs and reward merits that will continue to come my way. Futhermore, I've gotten great value from what SPs did to the market this past week (e.g., 20 LotG recipes for $46M each, 10 Miracles for $53M each). Very pleased. -
Quote:Added the inf needs. The following is from memory and may be off...
1 Hero/Villain Merit + $2.5M = 10 Converters (Fort Trident/Crucible)
1 Emp Merit + $1.25M = 5 Converters (Emp guy in Oro)
3 Astral Merits + $500k = 2 Converters (Astral lady in Oro)
10 Reward Merits + $250k = 1 Converter (Any Reward Merit Vendor) -
Quote:lol...ohhhh yeah. Happened to me/my team on the head-start day. We had 5 /Times on a 8 person team. Our clones were just clobbering us. After our 4th wipe, I wised-up and used one of my other accounts to email myself T4 reds, purples and oranges. Problem solvedI know TM makes Posi TF a little more difficult.
We had two TM's in our group as we approached the last mish. The one with the clones.
One of the members had dropped (not one of the TM's). When one of your team members drop, the game knows someone is missing, but doesn't know the missing person's build. So for that mish, the game will create another clone of one of the existing players.
So they had three TM's to our two.
It took us four team wipes to kill one of the TM clones (after each wipe, we returned from the hosp, with full insp trays. But by that time, all of the clones had been fully healed).
