So I'm the only person who would like top make a Spine brute?

Epic Power Pools / Ancillary Power Pools Does not look like it's been updated for the new 5th power.
Meanwhile for your Guide Needs, try Guide to Guides in the Player Guides section.
Also Mace Mastery from Paragon Wiki.

It has always been there, but I've never seen it that big before. I agree it's not of much use and I generally ignore it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say maybe Arthur.
Edit add: That link was the first link when I did a Google search on Arthur. -
Quote:Chainsaws don't do well on wet matter, such as pulpy wood or flesh and bone, they do even worse against hardened materials like steel.Uhh... how exactly would that work?! You'd run up real close and shout at your enemies to blast their eardrums??
I think Chainsaw Melee would be more fun!
Sonic melee on the other had, which is best understood as high speed/frequency vibrations wouldn't bog down on wet tissue would be far more effective against hardened materials, it also has the advantage of generating heat at the cutting point, a secondary damage effect. Sad thing is vibration weapons are basically hardened blades with a power source attached to them and don't have the visual impact of those big toothy chain swords we all know and love from 40k. -
Quote:I said it earlier, everyone was "oooohhh...great" but now the gimps STILL need people to carry them, but now the hardcore players don't need them. It won't be long now before the gimps,RPers, and costume horses are gonna start complaining and try to get the Devs to force those dirty powergamers to invite them back to teams, and I'm gonna sit back and laugh.
Oh FYI, us costume horses and RPers don't like Power gamers, they are all "You didn't take bladtity da and you are sub par and you really need blathery blah to work right." Or they piss moan about expees per minuet and how it's better to stealth this mission and death becomes a huge drama fest. Yup all things us sub standard types really don't want much to do with you power gamers at all.
See I can use generalities and negative stereotypes too.
Personally I am enjoying the new grouping freedom and lack of bridge invites and AE spam. I've had more fun and successful pugs in the past few weeks then in a long time. The truth is it's not really that hard to find a group and grouping is alive and well, it's just that star phobia in action. -
I don't generally like to be the person who says this but. "Make your own PUG."
It's the simple answer. I was watching the local badge channel on my server one night and three people where asking about the Katie TF. No one was forming one but here where three people asking. So after about 20 minuets of this back and forth I broke down and just started one. Less then 5 minuets I had a full team of 8, even had 2 controllers, a defender and a tank and all I did was take anyone who asked to join.
I hate that star, I don't know the fastest way to run content, I don't even know what contacts I have unlocked half the time. But with just a little effort I can toss a group together in 10-20 minutes. Heck with the new SSK feature and exp for exemplar/malifcotring you can often pick up 40+ players for even trivial stuff. I had a 38 and a 46 join me for half of Bocar's missions on Justice just two days ago. -
Kith has been my name on many mucks for well over. . .well lets just say way too long. Unfortunatly when Kids in the Hall became a a big thing not to mention that love of all things Celtic it became increasingly harder to get Kith and since I am one of those dirrty furries and play a North American Porcupine I started using KithPine or KithDPine. (And in really rare causes KithUpine.)

You know between long time players and the doom Sayers, I'm always reminded of the "I'm not dead yet!" skit in Monty Python.

Quote:With the presence pool (or heck their pitiful taunt ability) and solid support from their team a scrapper can tank, they may not be able to tank a GM or Lord Recluse, but they can tank an 8 man spawn.Myth: Scrappers can Tank
Truth: Tanking is more than be tough enough to take the alpha strike
( not trying to give off scrapper hate- but if your not holding agro and keeping it when the fire blaster goes nuts with AOEs your just "leading off" and provide no real protection after that)
Tanking is staying up and managing agro, many scrappers can do this. So yes a scrapper can tank. It is true that a Scrapper is not a Tanker. -
I knew what I was looking for an it took me a while to find.

Just because I was board I walked up to a CoT madness mage without my Indomitable Will toggled, of the three toggles running only Rise to the Challenge dropped the others where just suppressed.

One I saw right here.
Myth you have to have soft capped defense to handled level 50 content. -
Quote:Granite and EATs are two different tech problems.BABs has been working on that tech with Granite Armor for a while. It has the same issue as the HEATs. Once Granite is worked out, they should be able to figure it out quickly for Nova and Dwarf forms. Give it time. The developers only have 2 hands and it took them like a year and a half to get what they do have done. Pool powers, Epic powers, VEATs, HEATs, Granite, all of it I'm sure is are on a priority list somewhere. Just gotta let them get it done.
The problem with Granite is that it replaces your character model, the issue with EATs is the branching power trees. Though HEATs share some of this problem, it is not the core problem they face.
The "fix" in the works for Granite is to make it more like the other armors where it is an overlay over your character, and if this fix goes through it is for every one, there will not be an Old Granite/New Granite opition it will have to be applied across the board.
The fix for EATs and Power Pools for that matter will be adjusting the interface to deal with multiple "possible" power trees, without overloading the interface and the limits on character data size. -
My first ITF I ended up tanking on my level 36 brute and there was only 2 deaths, so I wouldn't say I was too disadvantaged. Unfortunately I've noticed as of late it's gotten a lot harder to get that groups as soon as you hit 35 which is a shame, so many times I want just one piece of roman armor or the sword and I end up having to wait 35 levels to just get into the zone, then another 10-15 levels before I can squeak into a group.

Quote:If you found them in normal mode you still have to find then in SG mode and it doesn't really tell you which ones you've found or not found. It's always easier to get them in SG mode on a character who hasn't already found them otherwise you need to make a little check list. I once drove myself crazy because of "The Next Big thing" badge. It's almost impossible to not accidentally get it and when I got around to SG mode I forgot I had gotten that one in regular mode.I'm not sure what happens if you have found some in normal mode. I would suggest using a toon that hasn't for those ones, you don't need to find them all on the same toon, just on toons that are in SG mode.
Also it's generally easier to get them with fly, since some of them are up high, Top Dog, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Triumphant I'm looking at you.
Lastly some groups still do "Badge Tours" least on virtue on the weekends. Basically people with TP take groups to all the badge locations of some of the odder zones. -
The Hallows is a red dot off of Atlas.

Neither my /WP Brute or Scrapper had much problems with carnies. Just keep a couple extra purples or blue inspirations with you and tear through them.
-
Carrier Pigeons. We know that is the obvious answer.
-
No different then some of the old PI broadcasts.
And do expect those to come back, double so since people don't need people to pad their recipe/salvage farms.
