Roman Armor TF

Looking for info about that one TF that awards you the really cool Roman armor. Where does it begin and who do I get it from ? I have a 37th lvl SS/WP tank that would fit that armor perfectly.

That's the Imperious Task Force (Also known as an ITF.) You get it from Imperious in Cimerora. You get to Cimerora through the Midnighter Club.
It's a 35-50 TF so you just need to find a team to join

Note that the TF is set around level 50 and can be very hard- most teams will only take on a few low-level characters (the next Issue may change this). But it's also very popular, so it shouldn't be hard to find a team for it on a busy day.

ITF is not set at level 50, it scales. A team of eight level 35s will get a level 35 ITF.

Really? Huh.

Still, most ITF teams are generally 50, and even after next issue's changes, lowbies will be at a disadvantage due to having fewer powers and slots.

I don't consider a level 35 a lowbie. I thought Cimerora was not going to be affected by the removal of level restrictions on the Hazard Zones...

At level 35 a player could potentially have all but one their primary and secondary powers, not really a disadvantage in my mind, especially if there are no slots "wasted" on powerpools.

My first ITF I ended up tanking on my level 36 brute and there was only 2 deaths, so I wouldn't say I was too disadvantaged. Unfortunately I've noticed as of late it's gotten a lot harder to get that groups as soon as you hit 35 which is a shame, so many times I want just one piece of roman armor or the sword and I end up having to wait 35 levels to just get into the zone, then another 10-15 levels before I can squeak into a group.

Ah, that was the first TF I ever did. I had a lot of fun, but many of us had to do the Midnight Club arc first, and due to a few team wipeouts we spent about 6 hours running around doing stuff. They were a nice bunch. Everybody had a great time, but we were so glad to be done at the end, lol.

I've done it dozens of times with a team of 50's and sidekicks. Many TFs are more difficult when half the team is made up of sidekicks, but I haven't noticed that to be a especially big problem on the ITF.

One thing I would point out is that if you have a team that is SK-heavy, it's much harder to go down Lag Hill than up it. If you go backwards (down the hill), it's very likely the SKs will get separated and if they're much lower in level, they will probably get killed. That said, most good teams can recover quickly (as quickly as the lag will let them) and be able to get through the mission without much bother. If that's the only mission they die in, debt will be cleared up by the end of the TF, especially if you spend some time clearing rooftop mobs after TF completion.

SKing problems will mostly be moot by tomorrow afternoon. See the link in my sig below.

For the ITF, you can do it Anchored to someone level 35 or 50 and everyone will be SSK'd to that level. (Although if you anchor to someone level 47+, you'll have the opportunity to get Purple drops.)

For the LGTF (45+), everything scales except the Hamidon encounter, so, SSK to the highest level when doing that one.
