    NPC pick-ups

I hate the Dream Doctor arc specifically for this reason. Even when I turn off Sprint and move as slow as I possibly can, I continually lose Dream Doc and company. It's the primary reason the arc takes so painfully long for me.

I would expect it to be the opposite - that I would struggle to keep up with the mighty Dream Doctor. At the very least, I would think the guy and his pals could learn to read a map and catch up with me.

Bonus points if (assuming slots are open) you could right click on one of them and invite them to the team, so at least you could TP them. That would also help with monitoring their hit points, since they seem to stink at managing that, too.

As it is, it feels more like babysitting, which feels neither epic nor heroic.
Maybe I'll pay more attention on other toons, but my first Incarnate (my SS/Elec brute) just let them get lost, ran ahead and stomped in everything's faces on his own.

This. A hundred, thousand times this.

The only thing I want more than this, I think, is customization for Pool/APP/PPP powers.
  3. Just want to be devil's advocate and throw out there that my level 41 Sonic/Sonic defender has been kicked from 11 teams to date (Yes, I keep count so I can boggle at the stupidity) because she doesn't have a heal.

    On topic:

Holyshitgodyes. I can finally roll a Stormie or use my peacebringer more effectively? MY BODY IS READY.

At least it'll be for one power.

Well, I'm not sure mine's worth anything much, but here's a pic of my Warshade, Stygian Lily.

I was going for something in-between a mystic and a private eye.

You can use threads for all tiers of the alpha slot. You'll just need to scroll down a ways, since the shard versions are on top, I believe.

    Is said toggle Heightened Senses?

If so, it uses the same "looking around" animation that is supposed to be played when you receive a Fortune. So maybe the bug is connected to that.
  9. Yeah, I really don't think this is going to happen.

Few things I'd consider looking at:

I'd personally try to build a bit more defense in it, and you've (imo) wasted a slot in eclipse on that second accuracy IO. Working in two more knockback protection IOs (BotZ's in shadow recall and nebulous form) would help, if you find yourself in the thick of things a lot.
I did think about defense, but I wasn't sure how to add much without nixing the overall performance of the build, as well as not knowing what type(s) to aim for. Any ideas?

    Quote:
I'd switch out one of the dam/recharges in eclipse for a dam/end/rech: you'll still crash, obviously, but if you use the nuke as a follow up instead of an opener, it'll be easier to use, and the damage/recharge values won't really be hurt by the change.
Do you mean Resistance/Recharge instead of Dam/Rech? Or did you mean a different power than Eclipse? Just making sure!

    Quote:
The end IO in dwarf is perhaps better switched with a performance shifter (or remove the slot entirely), I don't think you'll get much use out of it as is. Same for stamina, I'd switch to just the base slot with the performance shifter proc (with stygian circle up every ten seconds, you should be fine).
Are you sure? I've always felt a little uneasy about the Perf Shifter procs. I'm just paranoid about getting shafted by it at a crucial time, but I guess with Stygian it'd be less of an issue.

    Quote:
I'd also prefer getting the acc/dam/recharge and chance for build up pet purples onto extracting essence, but those are purples after all.

Regardless of the above, this build will definitely get the job done. Nicely done.
Thanks! And yeah, unless they're cheaper than the last time I looked, I'm not gonna be able to afford the pet purples! My god those are still expensive...

How about this version? I changed the slotting in Quasar (since I think that's what you meant), moved the Acc in Eclipse to Unchain Essence, and swapped the ATOs to there from the Nova cone.

  11. Updating the main post with the data chunk at the end. Sorry, my mids refuses to do it unless I tell it to for some odd reason...
  12. So I just made a Warshade this morning (premature, right?) but I'm already excited about her. This is the horrible build I managed to cobble together, focusing on getting eclipse perma, then other things. I want to try an MFin Warshade style build, using all the forms, instead of human-only like my Peacebringer. A few notes:

    1. Purples are out of the question. I only have the +3% Def PvP unique in there because it's dirt-cheap for a level 50 one now.
    2. The build itself can be completely changed in terms of powers and slotting. I really have no idea what I should be doing here, so if I made a DURR-level mistake, please correct me! I know there's no "wrong" way to build a Kheld, but I don't want to make questionable or iffy choices either.
    3. Incarnates... absolutely no idea, aside from Clarion for Destiny. Any recommendations based on general wisdom or this build's weaknesses would be welcome!
    4. Please be gentle, lol! It's my first time ever trying to juggle a build this complicated. It made my SS/Elec brute's build look easy!

Also just a general question: Is it possible to do the WS arcs through Flashback? I don't want to miss all of them in my haste to get to Dwarf.

When you do a respec then it will once again be the first question you are asked like how the VEATs are asked if they want to go Bane/Crab or Widow/Fort.

I know the Dev's are totally against changing KB to a KD, but so many people want this to happen and this idea can still make both KB lovers and KD lovers happy. Do I think it will happen? No , but a man can dream.
My PB is only in the low 20's, but if this option existed, I wouldn't hesitate. Even if she was 50+3 with all iSlots at t4 with a 50 billion IO build I would strip, delete and remake her so fast it'd make Synape's head spin.
  16. I was playing my KM/EA scrapper (who's hell on wheels now that she has Concentrated Strike) and I noticed something while I was trying to make a build for her.

Burst, despite clearly knocking targets down, cannot take Knockback IO sets. Is this intended, or a bug?

Sorry if this is brought up super often, I did a quick search and didn't find a recent thread.

With the broadcast and DFB spam? I wouldn't go either.

Anyone else want Jurassik's Car-On-A-Stick as a TW weapon model now?

I'm gonna have to go with Forbin, as far as this part is concerned. I'm fully aware that the abrasive, obnoxious twits are a small minority, and most PvPers are pretty nice chaps.

The problem is, it's a very, very loud minority.
  20. Hell, I'd drop some cash on this. Sign me up.
  21. Okay, this is mainly because I'm a giant softie, but I just thought of an alternate inf sink!

You know those charity workers in Atlas, now that Galaxy is a crater? The ones who ask for donations for clothes and feeding kids and the like?

Let us throw as much Inf at them as we want. I'm positive I'd donate several million.

If people need a "reason" for this then they could have badges or something for X amount of inf donated, but that would remove the altruistic part to me...

All I want is a global proc IO to change Knockback into Knockdown, and then I'd actually be able to play my peacebringer.

If you need something to sink your inf into, then stop fleecing people on the market and stop gaining such huge amounts of inf for no reason!
I feel your frustration, but welcome to Capitalism.

On the bright side, the Glad +3% Def unique is now insanely more affordable than before.

If this is cherry picking your reward, then so is the current system, since i can pick my reward in my Tier and leave some rewards for later, and even skip the T9 rewards in general.
VIP rewards should be for all VIPs.
There's a difference between picking from your current tier and skipping all the way to the end to grab the best, shiniest goodies. Choosing from your current tier is just picking between alternatives you have earned access to. Choosing from the very tippy-top of the tree, that you do not have access to, is definitely missing the point of having the entire tiered system.

I assume (and you know what they say about that) that if the devs wanted you just pick only the ones you want, they'd have just made one big sheet that you could fill in at will.

    More Proc IOs...

I, for one, would pay (almost) any amount of Inf or PP for a global IO that changes all Knockback into Knockdown.

I want to be able to play my Peacebringer.
