Quote:I guess once a year could be annoying to some people. Personally, I have NEVER had it fail and I've had the power on both accounts since the Valkyrie pack was released. It does not fail every time, just often enough to be really annoying.
Quote:If it works, with the long animation it not that much faster than running it. -
Is it actually all of them? I know it's a lot of them. They put in a change a while back that let you use Ninja Run and a bunch of the other travel powers. Big improvement, particularly since I have numerous toons with Ninja Run as their primary (only) travel power.

Dual pistols? The animations are pretty fast and the powers will be made faster in an upcoming patch. Get some extra recharge and it's amazing fun. I have it paired with Devices. When I'm solo, I'm more cautious. But it sounds like you might want to pair it with a high damage secondary.

Quote:Some people like it. The ONLY reason I haven't bought it is that I bought the Rocket Board immediately when it first came out and the two powers are identical in function (just not appearance).Nevermind, I found the answer to my question. The flying carpet is a complete waste. I highly recommend not buying it >_<
Yep, it's pretty sweet. I also have the Good vs Evil Jump Pack. With both of those, even the Shadow Shard isn't a problem. -
Quote:That would be account BOUND (which they are not). They're not attuned to my account as anyone in our SG can grab the Overwhelmings I put in the bin.
Attuned means they don't have a fixed level and adjust as you gain levels. So you can slot them at a relatively low level and they will be as good as level 50 IO's when you hit 50. -
It DOES count the bonus points. Trust me - I bought the package of 9600 pts on my main account. It most assuredly took into account the 1600 bonus points.

Quote:Some of the costumes have been wonky from day one. This image is from Halloween 2010.While wearing the Elemental Order robe, the robe will still appear on the character while the Malta Gunslinger NPC Transformation power is active. I had bought all 4 of the NPC transformation powers and it seems to only happen on the Malta Gunslinger.

<snort> "Close enough"?
Either they are RETIRING them, or they are NOT.
Oh, they are NOT. They are removing ONE way of obtaining them. To equate that with 'retiring them' is pure drivel. -

Firstly, this is a good place for that question. Here or 'Player Questions' would both have been fine.
You can post in here to trade items (but that doesn't get done much).
Also, there are global channels where people trade things.... occasionally.
Really, the way to unload anything is through Wentworths. Unfortunately, AT THE MOMENT, the Overwhelming Force enhancements can not be put in the auction house. This has been acknowledged as a bug, but we don't know when it will be fixed.
Frankly, I don't think people are going to be trading a lot of those right now anyway. I think they are going to collect them for personal use and/or to sell once they CAN be put in the auction house.
A big source of information for this game is ParagonWiki.com which was created and is maintained by players. There is a page with info about the auction house.
In my opinion, the one key thing to remember about the auction house is that you pay a 5% fee of whatever amount you list something for. If you list an item for 10 million inf, it costs you 500,000 inf to do so. If it doesn't sell, and you need to take it down and re-list it at a lower price, you eat that 5%. It is NOT refunded. This is to discourage people from listing at a high price and 'creeping' downward to wring every possible inf out of the sale.
On the other hand, when you are BIDDING, you definitely want to creep your price upward (unless you're wealthy and don't want to take the time). When you bid on something, there is no fee. If you retract your bid, it is refunded in its entirety. So always start with a lowball bid - you might get lucky. -

Don't put me on the list, since I don't need the badges.
If there's room left, I have nine 50+3 toons that I can bring to help, depending on what you need. -

This one doesn't really need a specific method. On Infinity, we DO pull the mobs and we start with Shadowhunter. I would think any AV sequence would work fine.

Quote:especially the mission to destroy the capsules - stand near one and you'll get your 200 vamps many times over if you really want them.Quote:Do those count? They're not standard Vamps, IIRC (no xp, might be no badge credit as well)
No. Level has no effect on defeat badge progress. You can be +49 to the enemies and get kill credit. -

Got the bugged Tyrant again on a run this evening.
Guess we gotta kill him slower...... -
-
-
Yeah, we had that happen on Infinity last night also.
In addition to the problem I described in this thread.
Two different trial-breaking bugs...... -
Well, this should be the one that gets a lot of people the Task Force Commander accolade (and those sweet military epaulets).

Quote:Oh, I see. Anyone who didn't 'pay' the same 'dues' you did isn't a REAL gamer. When I was in high school, my friends and I used to have people trying to kick the sh out of us every day because we played computer games. We were harassed constantly. When using the internet was a social stigma, we were the outcasts but we took our lumps and called ourselves geeks as a point of pride.
