Overwhelming Force - No conversion possible?

Good morning.

I found that the Overwhelming Force set IOs can not be converted to get a different IO/an other IO from the set.
I read that this is intended, but for me it is a bug.

This bug is causing me to farm the summer event fare more often to get the Knockback to Knockdown IOs i want. (I may have at least 10 chars which could take advantage of this special proc... but after ~20 event runs i got only 2 until now... and i am not money-healthy enough to just buy the io in the auctionhouse later)

And due to this i start to hate the summer event. (Which, by itself, is very nice and creative work).

By the way:
The other bugs of the set i would appreciate to be cleared someday:
- Min level requirement bug
- no-selling-in-Auctionhouse bug

It's not a bug. A red name posted that this set cannot be converted at the moment and it is working as intended.

They have also said they are aware of the other 2 bugs and are working on fixing them in a future patch.

The thing is they want you to farm the event. Sad really. I do look forward to seeing how crazy these get on the market tho. Everything's been so cheap on there lately. Well cheap compared to how prices used to be. Hopefully I can get some by then.

Getting people to farm the event is one of the possibilities i see too.
Still, to be fair, it could also be something completely different.

Does someone know if the rednames post anything about the background of the "no conversion" decision?

For me Fire Mans post sounds like they just not added the conversion... that they "may" add it if there is a reason for it someday.
