When does the timer start? Whats the strategy for this besides kill as fast as possible?

Lore out as soon as the 300 count begins to kill faster.

Kill (dogpile) Chimera first because he will teleport around and can stall things. Pendragon and Shadowhunter can be herded together usually to nuke with mass AoE fun.

Then just kill kill kill Swan as soon as you can.

That's about how we did it on Victory anyway, took a couple tries cuz, ya, the timing can be iffy and people dying loses the lore pets.

The timer starts when the Dream Doctor opens the portal to the Magisterium. It includes the countdowns before the IDF phase and before Black Swan appears.

When I led it, we summoned Lore as the countdown timer in the beginning reached 0, then did the AVs in our standard order (Shadow Hunter -> Pendragon -> Chimera). The pets started to die as Black Swan spawned, but we had plenty of time to take her out.

The only thing I would add to Placta's advice would be to assign directions to I presume what would be three teams (the count doesn't get lower with league size, so a full league is recommended.)
Team 1 Forward and right (at the sandbags)
Team 2 Straight and ahead
Team 3 Forward and left

Have tanks/brutes pull to the center - and then use judgements. Do NOT use judgements until the trial UI shows you 0/250, otherwise you're wasting your judgements. You want to be through with them before they recharge -or not very long after.

That seems to be the standard tactic on most of the runs I have been on too

So I got this badge Now I just need the Triple Threat badge.

Any tips on this one? Whats the best way to do it have 24 people 8 / 8 / 8? Should Chimera be the first AV that goes down? Or Pendragon with his shield?

You have to kill them within a 5 second span. You can't plan for any to be first. You have to keep them really close in hit points and time Pendragon's shield so it doesn't come back up at the wrong time.

I can almost promise you that not only will chimera tp when he's at 1, 2 or 3 hp, Nega-Pendragon will likely get his shield up at about that time too.

The key is to dismiss pets at some point before your teams start to whittle the avs down. All pets.

Beat the avs down where each is at 20 hp. If an av or two is not at 20 hp while one is - you have the team whose av is at 20% simply stop hitting. MMs put pets on passive, waiting for the other two teams to catch up.

Then whittle them down to 10%. (the reason you stop at 20 the first time instead of 10 is that gives you time to use different channels to reach someone that may not be fully focused on stopping at 20%)

Then whittle them down to 5%, then 4%, on down to 1%.

Then have folks use judgements or any other method they have to take that last hp down asap before they get any wild ideas about porting or putting up another shield.

Divide your teams wisely. Ideally, you'll have at least one tank/brute, one debuff and one buff on each team.

Also it may help to have the team that's taking out Chimera be primarily made up of ranged toons (corrs, blasters, etc...). Since he tps a ranged toon can get to Chimera faster than a tanker (usually).

Tip for Triple Threat on Chimera - Have the targeted people fight Chim. He will port them to him anyway.

Tip for 8 min: All the mobs count, so make sure to aggro EVERY group you can find as soon as they spawn. They'll each summon 2-4 of their little drones, that die easy and fast, adding to the counter quickly. Lots of time is wasted chasing down and focusing DPS on Bosses...

Just wanted to say that all this strategy for both Triple threat and ready to rumble is moot if your entire team is packing Ultimate inspirations. It might not seem like it, but having everyone boosted to lvl 54, with lore pets, makes it much easier. On freedom we ran 9-10 minute Magi's and still manage to get Hard Way Badge. Get Av's down to 5% and have everyone pop an ultimate. you'll get it.

While that strategy would be ok for me - I am pretty sure that most of the folks I trial with would balk at the needless expense. I'm sure it's much easier - but most leagues wouldn't need to use ultimates for triple threat.

Triple threat -- bring each AV to 5%, then 2%, then defeat. Make sure pendragon's shield is not up or about to be up and wait for Chimera to TP before making the final push.

Ready to Rumble -- Timer starts when you talk to the doctor to open the portal.. so the 20 seconds it takes to spawn count. Wait to judgment until the counter starts for the 250 count. Do NOT pull mobs to one spot, have your league move around the mobs to defeat the minions and lts. Don't wait to defeat whole mobs before moving to the next mob, they will follow you. Chimera first, then the other two.

Don't forget to complete the trial.

This one doesn't really need a specific method. On Infinity, we DO pull the mobs and we start with Shadowhunter. I would think any AV sequence would work fine.

I've seen it done successfully both ways. /shrug

On Pinnacle, our R2R strategy is as follows:

1) Pick a team that has mostly high damage lore pets (Cimoreans works). This team will be first to spawn lore pets and will do so immediately upon entering the map. The other 2 teams do not spawn Lore pets yet.

2) The non-Lore teams move quickly up the left and right sides hitting AOEs and taking out minions and Lts. The bosses will take some damage but take too long to completely kill without lore pets. They'll wind up about half health and the Lore team will finish them off with 1 or 2 shots as they move slowly up behind the other two teams, mopping up bosses which are easily spotted because the mobs are thinned. It's good to have the Lore pets speed boosted, not because their attack rate is faster but because they can move to the next target more quickly - which effectively allows them to attack faster. Overall, this will cut several minutes off the counter phase.

3) Once the AVs spawn, teams 2 and 3 launch lore pets. Attack Shadowhunter first, he will die very quickly. Then Naga, whose shield doesn't stand a chance against the full league and lore pets. After these two, Chimira. Controllers and Dominators can use Geas + Vanguard or the redside equivalents to help hold him. We've completed without allowing him to teleport a couple times.

4) Then comes the cut scene, then Black Swan. Team 1's lore pets will be dying early into the Black Swan fight, but that's fine, use them as a 5 minute timer to gauge progress. Black Swan will typically die within 90 seconds, which leaves plenty of time left on the badge timer. Typical completion is 6 to 6 1/2 minutes using this method.

On the one hand, that seems excessively detailed and requiring a lot of instructions.
On the other hand, it sounds really well thought-out and I have no doubt that will really cut down the time needed.
