  1. I'm going to be a jumper.
At this point, I do not see the purpose of dishing out money for a game that can be pulled from under you at any given time. Therefore, The Secret World, is not a given option.
I have DCUO, but don't care for it.
I have SWTOR, but not really team friendly and I'm not going to pay a fee for it.
I have CO, but don't like the graphics and I don't care for the feel of the game.
I have STO. so far, enjoying it more than the others, but not enough to invest a lot of time on it.
X-Com - I may try due to the fact that I enjoyed the original.
Console games, other than sports games, not my thing.
Unless this game is Rez'd, I don't see myself really sticking to anything.
From what I have read from others, we will all be lost souls.
  2. Good Luck!
I'm sure we will hear from you again.
  3. The key to this community was always the exchange of ideas between the developers and the players, which is not as prevelent in other MMO's. No matter what happens, the continuation of that collaboration will be necessary for any new studios success.
  4. Some of us said good bye quickly for a few reasons. Here are some of them:
    1. Not sure how long forum will be up
    2. Not sure how long players will stick around for a sinking ship (not that we don't hope it is saved)
    3. Not sure how long the Paragon team will be around and we want to express our gratitude.
I can understand not wanting to say good-bye. No one wants to say it, but criticizing others for saying it, isn't really fair to those people.
  5. I have played PvP before and after i13. It wasn't for me.
I think this community, in general, is more into the teaming, which has built friendships and made us a tight ninched group. The all for all approach to this game and the developers treating the community in the same way, makes us unique.
  6. I have never played CO and I'm not a role player. If they were to get likes of Posi, WarWitch, and others from Paragon, on their development team, I would not hesitate to give it a shot.

    Dear NCSoft

I just recently read an article were Vivendi, who owns a big chuck of Blizzard, wants to sell it off due to a slump in the stock.
In my opinion, NCSOFT either does not have faith that the CoH franchise has a marketable sales appeal to other companies, or they are going to shelf it. A move should have already been made if they had intentions to sell it.
Why shelf it? So they can have the rights to make CoH2 or sell of the franchise when they can make more money for it.
Next month, X Com is coming out. I remember buying that game nearly 20 years ago. Now they are bringing it back with high hopes. Sometimes, separation makes the heart grow founder. In my opinion, this is what NCsoft is betting on. Let's hope it doesn't take 20 years.
  8. I was kind of afraid of this. Now we have no one to fix it:/
  9. Sorry to break this to you.No new points. Live market down as of 9-1. Some people have reported that they were able to purchase items, but officially it's down.
I,also, recently read that people are get NCSoft credits for the subscription money owed back to them, rather than real money.
    Good Time
  10. Very nice. Almost brought a tear.
  11. I'm not happy about the COH situation, but not cool to harm fellow gamers. It wasn't their fault.

    City of Creators

I'm not a coder nor a writer but I would invest if we can figure a way to make it profitable.
  13. Save the studio.
They can make the magic again
  14. Just saw this you tube video. It may be our last one. Take a look

  15. We would all be starting from scratch. That just means more teaming on the lower level content, which I rather enjoyed. Only draw back is I don't have enough time to level so many toons again.
  16. I would invest in a team like that. They are talented, passionate, creative, and smart. I would pay to keep them.
On another note. I went to a high volume retail store at lunch and notice NC Soft was no where to be found. No game cards, no box games, no downloads to purchase. I'm just speculating, but that may be a sign of NCSofts financial woes, and could that COH was just a tip to a very serious problem with the company as a whole.
  17. This is @IORNCLAD. I just wanted to thank all my Justice family for being around for 7+ years.
I will always have fond memories of playing with you, no matter what the future brings.
    You have all been awesome!!!!!
  18. Don't know if the rumour is true but, it would be difficult to remain interested without the creative folks that made this game, so great.
  19. Posi,
I don't tweet, but for you, I'll open an account. Thanks for your creativity, your humility, and leadership, in making this fantastic game soo beloved by all those luck enough to play it.
  20. I don't remember the story arc or the person that mentioned it, but I do remember what my teammate said to me,"IORNCLAD, your a beast."
That's when I knew I had an awesome build
  21. I, unfortunately, bought GW2 before I got the news of this. If I could I would return it.
We can't do anything about their decision. We can try to purchase it from them. Which is something I will support.
  22. Maribelle,
I just wanted to say thanks to you and all the rest of my Justice family
