In the event that CoH DOES meet an untimely end, where are you all planning to migrate to?

I've tried DCU and Champions. Neither jump my fancy, but I'd be willing to do either one if it meant still teaming with my Justice-ites. Post in here where you'll be and see if we can coordinate a way to regroup?

We're all taking a MMO hiatus =P

CoH has been the only MMO I've ever had any interest in.

I'm at a loss as to what to do with my gaming time.

I have a few friends that do Team Fortress 2 and a few that do Tribes, but I don't handle competitive gaming very well.

I do have a few games I picked up on Steam back during their 4th of July sale that I haven't touched yet, but most of those are going to last a weekend or two at most. It's probably back to Elder Scrolls Oblivion for awhile after that, as Skyrim didn't hold my interest nearly as well.

I'm going over to The Secret world, will probably set up Cabals (the Equivalent of SG's) for at least 2 of the 3 factions, and if I can think of a name that doesn't suck I'd do the Dragons too

I think I'm going to quit MMOs for a while after this whole thing goes. I tried a few others but they weren't CoH.

I run RPGs for friends and at conventions so I'll probably immerse myself in that and see what happens to this place after the power goes out.

If any of you guys Table-Top or LARP I'll be running games at several gaming conventions in the San Francisco Bay Area. My troupe and I run at DunDraCon, KublaCon and BigBadCon every year.

Mermoine's house.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

*IF* CoH does meet its doom on Nov 30... I'll step away from NCSoft forever and MMOs for a while... most likely will be checking out Shadowrun Online if it actually comes to light in 2013.

I'll be stepping away from MMO's and probably gaming for good. I've left CoH for brief periods during the last 7 years to try other games but nothing else compares. I've always returned to CoH.

I'll settle for getting my gaming fix on Facebook when the servers drop. Until then, see y'all ingame.

There will be a place set up specifically for that, with polls and numbers showing who is going where, and you'll be able to look up your old friends.

It's still under development, but bookmark http://www.cityofheroesveterans.com/ and check back in November if that happens to be the case!

Said in another thread, but trying TSW, continuing to casually meddle with STO and SWTOR.

I'm always Crill Dunbe wherever.

I'm going to be a jumper.
At this point, I do not see the purpose of dishing out money for a game that can be pulled from under you at any given time. Therefore, The Secret World, is not a given option.
I have DCUO, but don't care for it.
I have SWTOR, but not really team friendly and I'm not going to pay a fee for it.
I have CO, but don't like the graphics and I don't care for the feel of the game.
I have STO. so far, enjoying it more than the others, but not enough to invest a lot of time on it.
X-Com - I may try due to the fact that I enjoyed the original.
Console games, other than sports games, not my thing.
Unless this game is Rez'd, I don't see myself really sticking to anything.
From what I have read from others, we will all be lost souls.

I won't be lost. I will know *exactly* where I am, for I have two GPSs with me on my motorcycle at all times.

Oh. That wasn't what you meant. Sorry.

Mike

/But it's truth I speak. Co* ending = more motorcycle time for me. Done with making things others can destroy.

This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012

I've seen a few Justice forum members over there. They have a list on the CO forum that was started by an ex-COX player and many of ex-COH players placed their name and what server they played on the thread. So there is probably more COX Justice channel people there than on that list, as I've seen at least two in all 15 pages since I last checked.

And there is a bunch of COX players there from all over. They basically set up their own little community there, with a channel and everything.
