What first comes to mind for me is the main theme from the Tron:Legacy soundtrack.

For one thing, it sounds uncannily like the old CoH loading screen melody.
Also, there's the obvious comparision to the plight of CoH and the plot of the film (dude loses his dad in a computer, we all lose our toons in a computer).
....but if you had your heart set on Metallica, I'd vote "Orion" over "...and Justice for All". Even though the title is less appropriate. -

Working on an illustration in Photoshop right now to depict this very moment.... All 7 Dunbes reunited in Atlas, watching it slowly disappear.

I have doubts any of this will work. That said, I agree that doing nothing will certainly get zero results. I will probably do this.

I am a little bit sickened and underwhelmed by the idea of starting over somewhere else, but I will likely sooner or later try other MMOs in some kind of effort to fill the void CoH will leave.
Anyone have any such plans yet, and if so, what MMOs will you look into?
I was somewhat entertained by SWTOR before CoH Freedom lured me back, so I might go mess around on that again. Other than that, I'm personally at a loss, so I'm also sorta looking for ideas. -

Justice, you have always been my favorite server. I'm glad I came back to CoH, even though the return has been short lived. It was fun and I'm gonna miss it like all get-out.
I've tried other MMOs. They aren't as good. But if do again, I'll always pick a server that starts with a J in hopes of bumping into some of you yahoos again sometime.

Got my troller, Syrus Dunbe, 35 to 43.
As is the norm for 2XP weekends for me, I had a million things to do the same weekend, so all things considered I'm happy with the outcome. -
I like having a single force feedback +rchg proc in power thrust. It seems to hit fairly often.
Small suggestion but it's a handy little boost to your recharge rate, considering you have to take the power anyway. -

My main is a sonic/EM and I love it.
You can solo pretty effectively by hitting each group with Sirens Song then picking off each mob with Screech, Bonesmashers and Total Focus.
For team PvE, the Howl cone is a great AoE.
And when I'm bored it's fun to just use Power Thrust to send grays flying around in AP. -

It has occurred to me that a lot of players get confused in game when you tell them you're pulling a "mob." It took me a few mishes to realize that meant one guy, not a "mob." I think the terminology is a little misleading.
