It's worth noting that you may not get the Badge received message, at least I didn't get any notification, nor did it show in the rewards chat log

    Thundergod

    Spoilers ahead:

Saw it last night and thought it was OK. Not bad, not great, but OK. Can't really say why, I thought the acting was good, effects worked, the plot seemed OK (Although Loki's reasons for doing things the way he did didn't make much sense to me. He brought his frost giant father in to Asgard to murder Odin, but then killed him before he could do it. It's not like he needed another reason to go to war with Jotunheim, as far as I understood it they were already at war by this time, due to Thor's attack. Then Loki proceeded to try to kill everything in Jotunheim, allegedly to impress Odin, but at that point they didn't even know if Odin would ever wake up from the Odin sleep. Did he try to do it to win the war for Asgard? It just seems that he could have set himself up to eventually be ruler of both realms). And what happened to the Destroyer armor at the end? It seemed like Thor just smashed it into the ground and then it was over.

Liked Hawkeye, even if he only had a few lines. And could that SHIELD agent Thor fought at the crater possibly be named Cage (The last one that could take more than one punch)? Idle speculation, but why not?

Liked the post-credits scene, more of a story hint for the Avengers movie than in the previous post-credits scenes we've seen.

I have a feeling having the guy sitting next to me breathe loudly throughout the entire movie didn't exactly improve the experience, so I'm definately going to give it another watch when released on disc.
  3. *sigh*... I have no idea what password I have on PSN (haven't used it in over a year) so I have no idea if I need to change any other passwords. And changing them all is a nightmare...

No, it's just the amount destroyed that matters. However, there is a badge awarded if both teams destroy a container within 10 seconds of each other
  5. Pretty much the same as Schismatrix, I upgraded a few months ago and haven't had any problems in that room. I know my old computer had a few hiccups on some maps, but I never played that particular room on it.
  6. But if you do have a Musculature Boost, then you should have something to equip in the Alpha slot, as a Musculature Boost/Core Boost/Radial Boost does go into the Alpha slot.

And on Tuesday the WST will change away from Apex (don't know which one is next), so you may have a easier time to get a Notice then
  7. From what I've heard, Kronos spawns for the mission holder next time he enters a zone after the previous mission is completed. So you would have the mission holder wait somewhere else while the rest of the team completes the mission, then have him zone to the desired zone. Beware of drones though.

I haven't tried this myself, so I can't say if it's true, if it is something that used to work and has been changed or if it's just a rumor.

    Edit.: Too slow
  8. It can be found on top of the Powers window, click on Combat Attributes.
  9. I'm not very fond of charge-up mechanics, at least I haven't been in other games I've played (haven't played Champions). I usually end up feeling that I should be doing something else other than waiting for an attack to finish charging up, that I could do more good using some other powers that don't require charging.
  10. Aurumaton, my Energy/Energy blaster with all powers recolored in gold. It's an android constructed mostly from gold who fires streams of half-molten gold at its enemies. And as gold isn't the toughest of metals a squishy blaster seemed appropriate

I understand how with all the infinite dimensions that "another" Infernal could have gone to Praetorian earth, but that's not how the Canon portrays it.
In what way does the canon discount that possibility? (Not too sure of the canon with regards to this, so I'm curious)

  13. V's monologue from V for Vendetta is perhaps a bit short, but oh so great:

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.

Actually, Doc Ock needs his extra arms to loom over almost anyone, he's fairly short among the Marvel characters without them

  16. Wasn't a mission (TF? story arc?) broken a while back with it always pointing to a AE door which only let you in the building? I do recall having this problem and reading about it here a few issues back

Leadership is one my favorite Power Pools in the game..highly underrated for what it can accomplish on teams.
I've heard that the trick is to launch Vengeance simultaneously. This is easiest to do if both of you queue up Vengeance on a dead teammate that's out of range, then have someone TP him to you. Lag probably makes it easier to get it stacking accidentally.

Macros need a name, the word that actually shows up in the tray. And you can only see 3-4 letters in the small icon space so shorter is better.

    Ex: /macro Dwf powexec_toggleon White Dwarf$$gototray 4
Thanks for catching that, might have caused some frustration otherwise

you need to input them in the chat window. Prepend with either /macro or /bind <key>

so it would be either /macro Dwf powexec_toggleon White Dwarf$$gototray 4
    or /bind z powexec_toggleon White Dwarf$$gototray 4

if you choose the macro style you get a button in your powers that you can click, if you use the bind you just press z to execute it (you probably want to change z to some other key)

As much as I disliked the zephyr nerf it was a step in the right direction. It might even be necessary to lower the defense cap for scrappers and brutes to 40 so that there's a bit more fear when facing enemies. I would hate this as well, since the majority of my characters are defense based, but at least other, non defense sets would shine a bit more. I don't think there is anything wrong with the majority of them in their current form, they're just substandard when compared with IO'd out defense builds.
That's not how the defense cap works. The hard cap is at 300% IIRC, while the soft cap is at 45% and does not really have anything to do with the hard cap. The simple way to affect the soft cap is to lower the inherent defense for an AT (essentially starting with ~-5% defense to match your number) and that's not a realistic solution since it would punish those who don't use IOs more than those who do.

    The Character ID

And the forum seems to make all your words start with a capital letter
  24. I find little point in slotting TT for -tohit or immob on my D4, unless you're going for specific bonuses. The duration is long enough to triple-stack immob when you got a little recharge in it, and you should be flooring tohit on just about anything with your three cones+toggle+Fluffy (Fluffy alone is doing -85% tohit if he fires off all his powers according to my ingame numbers). TT isn't that far off Nightfall on damage either, about 15% less damage, so TT is getting damage slotting in my build.

I also picked up all Leadership powers, but I am considering dropping some of them. End is killing me at the moment, especially when I'm on small teams/soloing
