Task Force Sidekick
With SSK when the leader of a TF is higher than the max level of the TF everyone will be fighting at the max level.
That said you can still change the difficulty of a Task Force after you start it.
Ok... so it is different for Task Forces than for normal content. Because in normal content everyone lower than the mission holder is at -1.
Or is it unique because normally the mission holder's level isn't changed. So in essence I was side-kicked to 49 and exemplared to 40 at the same time. Interesting. I had no idea it worked that way.
So does that mean if the star was *exactly* 40 we would have been 39?
I'm guessing that technically the system works by 'ssk'ing the team to 49, and then the TF would cap at the max level of 40. It is like normal content except with a max cap. If your past it then you get the tf cap
edit: and Krogoth is correct the team Leader can raise the difficulty at any time.
Yeah, I'm seeing that too. Man, that is certainly different than the way sidekicking in a TF used to work.
Every day I come across yet another reason I love SSK.
Golden, What you experienced as far as everyone being bumped to the max level of the TF is completely WAI.

I don't remember it working any differently before.
Last night we did a Numina TF. This is the first one in a long time that I've run a character below the maximum of the TF. There were several of us in the 36-38 range but the star was a level 50.
I *expected* for the 50's to be exemplared to 40 and the rest of us to be sidekicked to 39.
What actually happened was that everyone was 40.
Once we found out we regretted not going with a +2 difficulty.
Has anyone else seen the sidekick system working differently in task forces than it does in regular content or did we just have some sort of weird glitch?
