The Titan used to spawn on the Mission leader once they were out of the mission and the mission was complete. So the leader would leave the mission, and the team would complete it, and the Titan would spawn under the globe in Atlas, or in the middle of a Hami Raid, or all sorts of other places, solely to grief people. So they changed it so his spawn points were limited. I'm pretty sure he just spawns at the mission door now.

From what I've heard, Kronos spawns for the mission holder next time he enters a zone after the previous mission is completed. So you would have the mission holder wait somewhere else while the rest of the team completes the mission, then have him zone to the desired zone. Beware of drones though.
I haven't tried this myself, so I can't say if it's true, if it is something that used to work and has been changed or if it's just a rumor.

As mentioned, the Titan (and other ambushes) will spawn when the Mission holder enters the next eligible zone (usually where the mission is located). Also as mentioned, the eligible zones are limited to not include many griefing areas like Atlas and the Hive, but you can still spawn the Titan in other zones by exiting the mission via Ouro (not a valid ambush zone) and zoning to IP or Talos for example. You might even be able to do it with Babbage during Synapse TF, if you felt the need for some reason. lol

Someone just, not 30 minutes ago, spawned Kronos in talos, right at the base of the hill by the train.
So I'm guessing that he exited by Oruo Portal and zoned into Talos.

A few years ago, a player did a *lot* of testing on this. The post has long since been purged, but I saved the info on the Wiki talk page for Kronos, as well as a bit of testing I did.
Babbage, also, can be spawned elsewhere, but seems to have more limitations. For example, a few years ago when Protector did one of their Robot Rampages, we had about 15 Kronos's piled up in FF, but none of the Babbages we had ready would spawn there. The 2 or 3 Babbages I had ready only spawned when I went to other zones.

Haven't done it in a while, but I have spawned Kronos by autocompleting the mission that triggers the ambush, then zoning to an eligible zone.

Hmmm.... well, maybe. What happens to ambushes if you log out before they have a chance to spawn {for example, O-porting out of the mission, and logging out}. Will they spawn when you log back in and enter an eligible zone?
As far as zones that Kronos can't spawn in goes, I tried to spawn him in the RWZ recently by using my SG base teleport, and he never showed. I then proceeded by SG Base teleport to Independence Port and he showed up there, within spitting distance of Statesman.
