  1. just to be clear..it doesn't work on pool powers.

    RA's dont stack either
  2. Hindenburg

    DP/Dev Blaster

yeah, Device's doesn't have Build-Up which kinda sucks.

ideally you want Boost Range from Energy Manip on any pvp blaster.

If yer set on DP/Dev then you'll want to cap your HP (1606), get a Phase, and get about 40+ kb protection.
  3. New animation yes, not faster tho. Sonic has some slow animation's.

I rarely pvp on blasters, but i think most would go with the fire/em.

Sonic would be better on 8 man teams with you leading the spike with a PB'd Screech.

not even sure what kind of attack chain you'd use.

    maybe Screech>Shreik>Scream?

    or Shout>Shreik>Scream?
  4. There's several things I would 6 slot but not for the set bonus that 6 of a set would give. Usually people stop at 5 of a set (for recharge) unless going for ranged defense.

Spine Burst, Impale (with 1~3 Centrioles), Quills, Ripper, Throw Spines, and Fire Ball would be good candidates for 6 slotting
  5. the build looks good. I remember elec having poor damage on my dark/elec too.

Personally i think holds are a waste of time. I would drop both holds and pick up Aim and Soul Drain.

1~2 more slots in HT would be nice.
  6. imo RA's don't need to be slotted for regen/recov. The base regen and recovery is huge.

    I made some minor changes.

  7. heh, yeah i changed the post while you were typing yours up. I saw that the 6.25 was over and changed it. regarding the fly, i just assumed you'd switch to hover during combat.

yer build looks like a ton of fun!
  8. Temp Invul is kinda white shiny pearly-ish color.

You could probably go either way with that one.

ooh, I'm assuming you meant Power Mastery. there's no "Energy" mastery

With rad's, its nice to have a ton of recharge to have AM up as much as possible

You might want to make use of damage procs in your attacks (Explosive Strike)

Any Rad should be able to take care of AV's as long as you have enough endurance for the long fight..
  9. MORE DAMAGE!

I've heard the chance for BU in PA affects all the PA's.

Tornado/Water Spout/Lightning Storm are great for AV's and should have some damage slotted
  10. If you wanted sm/leth soft cap and didn't mind Frozen Armor you could do something like this.

  11. The numbers on Combustion aren't alot different from FSC, but I'd probably skip it (I really don't want two 3sec animation powers)

Blazing Aura seems skippable. Damage aura's have a high end usage, and on a fire manip blaster the mobs shouldn't be around long enough for Blazing Aura to add up.

Hot Feet covers 6 times the area of Blazing Aura, but the fear affect from the slow doesnt really mesh well with FSC and Burn. I'm not sure if i'd skip this tho..I'd prolly just turn it off and on as needed.

This might be a good build to go for defense. I'd definitly cap your HP (1606)

  12. You'll want to unlock yer alpha slot first thing. Mender Ramiel? in Ouroborus gives the arc.

There's greater option's on setting your difficulty now.. you might put it on -1 mob lvl for the incarnate arc.

You'll want to do the intro to Vanguard in RWZ (@10mins) and maybe the intro to IO's at a University (@20mins)

Once a week you'll want to do the "Weekly" task force for some rare incarnate salvage.

The biggest things that'll help your SO build would be getting a Miracle: +recovery and the first level alpha incarnate.

Rikti mothership raids are prolly the best way to get incarnate shards and Imperious TF's (require's unlocking Cimoroa zone)

    lots of new fun stuff.

ooh, and you can auto complete a mission every 3 days (non-badge/non-timed) if you have a troublesome one.
  13. was gonna make some comments, but i ran outta time. i didnt see much to change.

  14. alot of people pick one type of defense to focus on, and get it to 45%

sm/leth defense is probably the most common to slot for. You'll have to pay for Kinetic Combats and they're not cheap.

probably the second most common sought after defense would be ranged defense. Since your a scrapper this might not be useful unless you run from battles alot

some go for both of these.

some go for Melee defense if they can stack it with sheilds they get (like Sheild Defense and Super Reflexes)

AoE/Fire/Cold defense is easy to get with Aegis, but should probably be considered secondary to sm/leth defense.

also don't forget to slot a Steadfast Res/Def 3% IO. This gives you 3% def across the board.

In summary, for a Fire Armor, your best bet is to try for 45% sm/leth defense.

p.s. you dont have to go for defense at all..

  15. I always thought the coolest thing about regen is that you didn't have to get Fitness pool..
  16. DB looks cool.

Mine is only around lvl 34.

You might have to take everything from the DB side except Taunt (at least while lvl'ing) and find out what you like. I personally haven't seen anything i want to skip yet. Sometime's i want to buff myself, sometimes i want to debuff the target/s, but usually i switch back n forth.

I don't see alot of DB's around, You'll prolly have to consult a guide.

because the set is based off combo's, you probably dont need alot of recharge and therefore Hasten seem's skippable.

epic pools seem wide open, but you prolly wont have more than 1 or 2 power pick's..maybe just grab a ranged attack and call it good?

It'd be nice to know what travel power you prefer..

CJ seems like a given. Then either SJ or Fly for vertical movement.

I guess you could do something like this? (assuming all Primary's are chosen)

  17. yes! Scrapper version!

    check the number's its crazy.

I made a km tank like a noob thinking it did uber single target damage.

ooh well, it was fun playing a tank again.
  18. I see you're using Spiritual Core Paragon, nice.

um..personally I'd rather have Dark Consumption over Touch of Fear. I'd rather do a lil more damage than fear something

I also wouldn't use Eradication unless you're using 4 for the HP bonus.

I dropped the Fury's from Lightning Field. It looked like the main reason you had um was for kb protection, but i stole a slot from ToF to put a karma in the build.

I put the Fire proc in Shadow Maul. It's a nice proc to have in any fast recharge attack.

  20. yeah, I don't see any improvements based off of what you want.

If you're using a T4 Cardiac Core or the T2 Cardiac Radial, then you only need 2 slots in Charged Armor. I would put that slot in Stamina.

  21. yeah, sonic for the follower sounds good.

maybe dark/sonic with Dark Pit on auto?

A fire/sonic might draw too much aggro with Fireball on auto.

altho a high damage short ranged attack might be good for a auto power, and most blasts have one (Blaze and Cosmic Burst might be the best).

I got my info from the paragon wiki: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Exempl...n_Enhancements is it outdated?

specifically I relied in the following text:

Set Bonuses are always on, even if the power in which the Set is slotted isn't activated, and even if that power is greyed out due to exemplaring! However, you do start to lose the bonuses if you exemplar more than three levels under the level of the IOs in the Set.

just like Set Bonuses, the power in which [globals] are slotted can be greyed out due to exemplaring and the Global will still work. However, just like Set Bonuses, the Global stops working when the character is exemplared more than three levels under the level of the Global IO.

So I get full bonuses down to lvl17. In fact I really meant lvl23 rather than lvl20, the idea being that I'd like to get the bonus even when I'm on a lvl20 TF. I'm not religious about it and would be OK with a lvl26 for example, especially if I can get it cheap, but I meant them not to be lvl40+

for the sake of completeness, the wiki also lists the rules for procs, which I don't use in this build except to complete a set:

All the other Special IOs are called 'Procs.' Unlike the Globals, Procs depend on the power they are slotted in to be activated in order to work. If the power isn't activated, then no benefit from the Proc. Consequently, exemplaring lower than the level of the power means the power is greyed out and can't be used (even passive powers follow that rule), which means the Proc won't work. However, the upside of Procs is that if the power is active, the Proc always work, even if you exemplar way below the level of the Proc. Procs don't follow the -3 level rule that Globals and Set Bonuses do.
    yeah, im wrong.

ever since they made it so that you can use powers five levels above your exemp lvl. I was incorrectly thinking that the 3 level rule changed to 5

    SIRadio! wewt.

When I make a new toon I usually pick a Origin based off of what Mr. Yin's store sells...

In the case of a spines/DA I'd choose Technology so I could buy some level 13, 17, and 21 EndReduc SO's for myself.

Sometime's you can find them on the market under "special", but its best to unlock Mr. Yin's on one of your toons so you can email/transfer to yourself.

You have to complete the second arc (lvl 15~19) in faultline to unlock the store if anyone care's or doesn't know about it

Technology's can buy End Reduction SO's
    Mutant's can buy Damage SO's
    Natural's can buy Damage SO's
    Science can buy Recharge SO's
    Magic can buy Accuracy SO's
  24. The regen slotting in Physical Perfection would be better in Health since it has a higher base regen.

I try to avoid slotting Auto powers, there's not much bang (percentage) for yer buck (slots)

I put some Sheild Walls in the build. The tri SW's will cost about the same as a LotG:7.5% so not sure if you wanna spring for those..The D/R and E/R are usually @10~40mil.

see if anything strikes your fancy :P

p.s. don't forget the "rule of five" the build you posted has global acc 9% seven time's (2 of those won't count)

snot a huge deal, jsut a fyi. you also have 5% recharge six times (1 won't count).
  25. Devastation's are expensive, but they could be easily swapped.

If you put Aegis in Tough, you could get 5% defense in Fire/Cold/AoE

You shouldn't need PFF so I wouldn't slot it, but there's 7 slots left
