Wow, I am actually shocked. Usually when a build gets posted for some suggestions, there is usually at least one or two responses in the first day. So, I take it this is an acceptable build? I couldn't really find any build similar in the brute forum to work off of(though my search-fu might have been weak).

So, I guess my question for this build is, can I get the S/L defense soft capped without gimping it and keeping the soul patron powers? (just as a side note, infamy is not an issue, and I do have the required HO's and PvP recipe)

I see you're using Spiritual Core Paragon, nice.

um..personally I'd rather have Dark Consumption over Touch of Fear. I'd rather do a lil more damage than fear something

I also wouldn't use Eradication unless you're using 4 for the HP bonus.

I dropped the Fury's from Lightning Field. It looked like the main reason you had um was for kb protection, but i stole a slot from ToF to put a karma in the build.

I put the Fire proc in Shadow Maul. It's a nice proc to have in any fast recharge attack.

Well, truth be told, I was using the Erads bonus endurance and the energy/neg defense. Not a big loss there though, since I wasn't close enough to hit softcap with a small purp insp.

ToF was just a slot mule pretty much. I like what you came up with though, and did a little tweaking to chase a little more recharge trying for perma soul drain. I didn't think dark consumption was overly needed with the amount of endurance management elec armor provides(it also has such a small radius I did not think it was worthwhile trying to use it as an attack). So, here's the tweaked build

This is my current DM/Elec build, the only difference is that I have a Positron's Blast in Dark Obliteration instead of the purple set. The S/L softcapping makes things real easy for him, although I'm thinking of changing Soul Mastery for Mu:
