Thoughts on burnout and its effects to pvp
Speed power pool tier 5 power:
Burnout – By sacrificing a large amount of Endurance for a short time, the user can instantly recharge all of their Primary and Secondary powers. I would assume this will instantly become a must have for every pvp build. What is everyones thoughts to having perma elude and such? |
I can see this power being kind of useful for builds that have long recharges on key powers. Things like instantly recharging heatloss, dull pain, or hoarfrost for example.
There are still plenty of builds that won't gain much from this power at all.

Zomg...Thermals are gonna be beast with double heat exhaustion....
omg this is gonna jack up pvp...
I have just been informed the power is currently on a 30 min base recharge. So since that's the case idk if its entirely worth taking. Still interesting.
It also costs 50 endurance iirc.

The power lowers your max end, costs quite a bit, and has a ridiculous recharge timer so I am not too worried. I'm sure there will be a few exceptions and a handful of powers/powersets that will be "abused". Double tier 9's.. that's going to be annoying.
I also expect to see a more flying /em blasters using afterburner and teleport in zone lol. For those who don't know, afterburn allows one to break flight speed cap at the cost of being in only affecting self state and grants a nice +defense bonus.
Given the end boost usually coming with tier 9's I think it'll definitely be Viable for things like Nin Stalkers or those lol 3500 HP Inv tanks you see in zones. It'll have some uses, but really I couldn't see something like your Averaged Ranged damage toon getting all that much out of it, given the costs and recharge.
Stacking t9s like elude and power surge do not work and the power gives -25 total end so basically this power was made for regens to be even better thats it.

I can see it working for all melee in some form or another, ranged fighters with certain epics IE hoarfrost, power surge and simular powers, or just for the sake of blowing through a back to back attack chain. More of a gimick than a necessidy though.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

it would seem a good choice for any duel build - blasters can have hiber back up - hoarfrost back up etc...tier 9s back up - all for carrying some blues.
I don't see it being any good for zone or team arena
The thing with arena is that it will be recharged at the end of every match no matter what the cooldown is. Having said that there really isn't anything in team v team arena I can think of that needs more recharge in the current meta. Perhaps stalker tier 9's or maybe double inferno with half a tray of blues?

No one takes nukes anymore, they do like 5 damage.

I don't see it making any real diff with the current recharge rate. Therms could use the ability to stack HE since anyone with half a brain laughs off -end with cardiac and or force of nature.
just to be clear..it doesn't work on pool powers.
RA's dont stack either
perma jump is ---> /up 1
