Quote:Commonly used slang. It is much easier to type toon than it is character. Just because you don't like it does not mean it cannot be used. QQFirst... it's a character, not a toon. Toons are on television.

If you take tactics and put in 3 IOs of end redux you end up with about .2 eps. This is equal to 48 end over the 240 seconds you would have rage up. Rage costs 25 end when it drops. Ill take the less overall cost vs higher cost, even if it means I have to pay that cost in one big chunk.
Now even with a perma double stacked rage your end use is about the same in most cases. So in addition to the same end cost over time, you end up with a constant +160% damage, I think Ill go with rage. -
Quote:Then don't respec that toon. Problem solved.I'm satisfied by these pending changes, but dismayed by the blunt insensitivity in the majority of replies here. If you read between the lines (empathize), the OP seems concerned that his ability to CHOOSE is being traded away for this improvement. I won't argue that this is an improvement-- it is. But I will ALWAYS and unapologetically side with the underdog who feels his freedom to choose is being negatively impacted.
I empathize. Nearly all of my characters have benefited, not just mechanically but THEMATICALLY, from the Fitness Power Pool. However, I DO have a couple of Natural Origin "everyday men turned heroes", for whom the first two powers in the Fitness Power Pool would have marred their theme conceptually. Some of you, who aren't conceptual/thematic thinkers and creators, may not understand this sentiment. All I can say is that I'm glad I was able to create those characters before a change like this made such characters impossible to create. -

I say screw the whiners that complain about taking a little bit of damage or a -3% to hit debuff and insist on never having their fortunes read. Just put it back so that I don't have to read that stupid popup.

All I want is to be able to roll a spine/fire/mu brute and watch the carnage.

While slotting for just +regen may not be woth the effort, on a WP it is not that difficult to do by accident. Since you will already be slotting for +HP you can use sets like Numinas for both +regen before you even get to the +HP. LoTG is the same story. Just no need to go hog wild slotting 2 pounding slugfest into every melee attack just for the regen.

Given those 2 opitons, either one. Fire will put out more damage thanks to burn and FE and Elec will be a bit more sturdy. Both will be good all around and both would be decent farmers.
-
Rieze has it dead on. Same with most others. At the soft cap is fine for most of the game. Just keep some purples handy just in case.
-
A mind dom controlled by someone with a brain. They are tons of fun to have on the team.
-
But then you miss the best one at about 50 seconds in. Smash the dude in the nads, then when he is bending over you put one foot on his shoulder and grab his head with both hands and rip his head off.
Although that is on an M rated game and should never happen in this game. But still is pretty cool. -
Oh I don't need convincing. I know it will probably never happen. Just thought I would throw it out there. Not going to go on a butane crusade or anything just because I don't get my way.
Honestly my motive is pure farming. I would just like to be able to get 2 or 3 groups together without having to have half the spawns wander back, only to return later when they wonder what happened to their friends. If that means I have to take more damage to do it then I can live with that. As long as it is optional.
Yea I know you can run an AE arc where you are constantly surrounded, but I would rather get the chance for purples instead of a bunch of tickets.
Probably won't happen but never hurts to try. -
Slow and steady wins the race? Sure you can survive for quite a while with that build but just because high levels of recharge do not help WP does not mean that they are useless. On my build I have an attack chain of Footstomp, Elec Fences and Ball Lightning. With massive recharge you end up killing everything before it can get to you.
More brutish and less tankish. -
Well true enough. While some things were never said as a flat out no, we were told for a long time that they would probably not happen.
Custom colors
Market mergers
Improvements to PVP (ok so they are still "looking into this")
Other things we have been begging for, for a long time but never got a yes or no like
Mailing items and inf
Trading between sides
Im sure there are lots more but Im tired and cant really think at the moment.
Anyway, Im not asking to be able to heard zones and nuke. There would still be a target limit on attacks including taunt, just the ability to have more mobs attacking you.
From a non farming standpoint it can get frustrating when you taunt and attack everything you can around you and there are still mobs that bleed off and slaughter your sqishie friends. From a farming standpoint, it would make it a little easier for the top end tanks/brutes to gather mobs so there would be less running around. -
-
So you are looking to make a tank mage.
This is a ridiculous idea that wouldn't make the faintest ounce of sense in-game or on a mechanical level. -
Yes, asking for a small bonus to a specific mob that goes away once you use it for a while and requesting more content with a little more flavor than hunt, kill skulls is a request to make it easier to farm.
-
Well if you are in the middle of combat, perhaps you should not be sending emails. Try killing stuff while in combat instead.

So since we have recently been getting stuff that previously we were told, "aint gonna happen" I figure I may as well ask for something that probably will never happen as well.
Have a slider to increase the aggro cap. This option would only be on tanks and brutes and perhaps scrappers as well. The low end and default option would be the current aggro cap, as you get higher in level you could increase it to a point where you can stay alive and protect your team. There are times when you run into multiple spawns and while your tank/brute/scrapper may be able to handle themselves vs all those mobs, the blaster or defender may not be able to handle the bleedover. Lol, who am I kidding. I want this to make it easier for farming. But hey being able to set your mish to x8 made farming much easier so I figure what the hell. I am not asking for a return of the days where there was no aggro cap, just the ability to say, double it.
Since the fury change, brutes can currently maintain decent levels of fury even with a tanker on the team spamming taunt. Therefore, there should not be any major crying about aggro hogs on teams.
Thoughts? -
Would really have to see the build overall to say anything.
Sure those numbers look decent but without seeing what attacks you have and how they are slotted I could really not give an overall judgement. -
At low levels there is not much of a difference. Even at high levels it is about the same as an SO in fast healing. The difference comes when you already have 2 SOs. It ends up adding more +regen in one slot than you would by adding another SO.
